      @danielhicks4826@danielhicks48262 жыл бұрын
    • @@danielhicks4826 Not really. Prime John wasn't even the best of his time, it was always a 3 way contest between him, Lupkez and Goodridge. They beat John consistently and had #1 exchange between them from time to time. It really wasn't till 1994 when Goodridge officially retired that John firmly became the undisputed #1 since the 2 guys who could beat him during his best both retired. From 1994-2004 John was largely left unchallenged, all the big names like Travis, MT, Todd, Devon, Denis, Pushkar etc they were just starting out in the sports and slowly growing to be pro level. But then he lost to Alexey in 2004 which was a shock and in 08 lost to Devon, then 2010 lost to 50 year old Lupkez returning from retirement. Prime for Prime, it's unlikely anybody remains undefeated.

  • I'd love to see the actual numbers in regards to how many pounds of pressure Devon is applying when he's LOCKED in the center of the table in his NOT GONNA BUDGE position🤯💪 INSANE There's so much damn power right there. Those two could flatten pennies lol

  • Devon really is the king of gaining advantage in the setup… his arm is so much taller, sets his elbow back for a second to appease the ref, and slowly works it in so by the time the match starts he has all the height and leverage. Has to be frustrating for his opponents.

    • He gets fouled, the opponents do the same things at times, everyone there competing wants to win at any cost and it’s the refs job to enforce the rules just like any sport

    • He’s strong. He just lacks table iq and General “athlete sense”. He doesn’t have any desperate drive you see from the best. The part im worried for him is that some of the drive im talking about can’t be taught. Like for instance devon just has it. But larry has just gotta enter a bunch of tournaments

      @lmdoinraysmom@lmdoinraysmom2 жыл бұрын
    • @@lmdoinraysmom agreed. Instead of just doing these 1v1 matches he needs to do tournaments. Get on the grind. He would learn a lot from that I think.
