  • The Igbos are very industrious people. Growing up in Benin City, I was lucky to live near an Igbo man who was an artist "Obi's Art" He did allow me to standby and watch him at work. He could draw a huge portrait of many people with a pencil so perfect. He does rubber stamps with razor blades. Few years later I was able to use the same skill and technique at my spare time and was able to be able to pay my school fee as a small boy without father or mother. This was in the 1950s. I love the Igbos for their industrious ability.

  • Anambra state government should beautify the city in order to attract investors.

    @madubaym@madubaym4 жыл бұрын
    • Or they should invest in a large industrial park in or near the town with access to; the Express ways, training initiatives for blue collar workers, electricity priority, water, a land port for transhipments and anything else needed for success manufacturing. And anyone who builds a factory in the park would get limited tax breaks and be forced to hire 80% local people.

The day the rest of Nigerian tribes, will stop their hatred towards the igbos and align with the igbos, that's the day this country will prosper all around.

  • You may Hate the late Abacha, but he is one leader that believed in the Igbo race. He had wanted electricity to be supplied without interruption to the East and they be given mandate to produce the spare parts for all Nigeria Industries suffering the internationals refusal to sell parts to Nigeria. We were told he opined they make it of Globally Acceptable standard and not the hotherto ibo made. If that had happened, Nigeria would have been on a higher pedestal than this. My present say, if the likes of Innoson can lean towards Rwanda and see how Hybrid and more futuristic Cars can be produced in Nigeria and not the usual import of comatose factories to blind our eyes and produce things being phased out of their countries of origin.

    • @Ant Namdangote is nobody without Obasanjo destroying ibeto cement. Rice and flour businesses thereafter handing sole license for importation of these commodities to dangote. Before Obasanjo coming dangote were nowhere near ibeto. For ur information, nnewi supposedly is a village but boast of uncountable manufacturing industries right there at their on their ancestry lands the major transporters ranging from ekene dili to chidibere and so forth. Hardly no household in that village without a few deep pockets in their fold - too many billionaires. U have heard of "small london" u must have heard it when u were growing up or now as an adult if u are. Small London is a village in abia state called abiriba known for their communal development and deep pockets.

    • @Ant Nam guy you dey talk trash. Ibeto was manufacturing cement before his license was revoked to aid Dangote. You are talking about richest black people, lemme tell you, igbos have the highest number of middle class and rich people in Nigeria and Africa. When you calculate in ratio, igbos are highest in number compared to any tribe in Nigeria.. Also, Never forget an igbo man was the first Nigerian and African self-made billionaire and that was Ojukwu's father before the civil war. Again, never forget from 1970, after the civil war, 99.9% of all igbo families were poor and started life allover again with just 20pounds coupled with all the oppression and marginalization from government, hatred and negative stereotype from other tribes, yet they made it to this level..talk more of when the are free to play on a fair ground.. under normal circumstances and without government interference, an igbo man would've still been the richest in Nigeria and even beyond..take it or leave it..
