*Conan stresses that he isn't good at drawing *Draws what looks like a New Yorker comic strip
I thought it was gonna be awful then I rememebered he used to work for the Simpsons!
@@kluuxd As a writer ..not as an artist
@@kluuxd I work for Disney. I sell hot dogs near a famous ride in Walt Disney World. That alone probably makes me one hell of an artist. Right? 😂
Yes... Conan's drawing reminded me of "Caroline in the City" intro
Legit shocked at how good it was
Jim Carrey would've made a very intense Joker.
Still could 👍
Esqueleto Agreed, a less energetic Jim Carrey is still a very energetic human being!
Even better, he was the riddler.
He's too good for that overrated role.
Giovanni ribisi would be good a joker but Ben foster would be excellent.
jim doesn't even look at conan when he draws, he clearly draws from his memory, and then cartoonizes it, that's a cool talent.
He probably practiced a couple of times before the show. If you draw something once, then it's not difficult to draw it with same detail twice.
Dan Fors still tho he’s pretty talented and to do it that quickly is amazing. i don’t know man i am just appreciating his gift
If you pause when they are doing a close up of the drawing, you can kind of see that there already is a drawing under. Maybe he did it of camera to safe time and that’s why he doesn’t need to look at Conan
Karina Colman I don’t see what you’re talking about
The Devil’s Ivy look at 5:37, you can see some lines that it seems to me that is the same drawing in the next page. Also at the beginnig he looks for an specific page insted of just opening at any page to draw.
Jim actually looks kind of happy here, he didn't seem this way in interviews he did a few years ago.
Jim is always relaxed
@@TheBytao7mao sometimes he seems a bit more relaxed than other times though.
Sometimes people go through things, get by it and get back on track. Happy he's happy. 👍💛
I think it’s because he took time away from the spotlight and just found himself and the true purpose of his livelihood to be honest. Not to mention everything that happened in last like 5-6 years. I will watch any clip with Jim in it.
He's with Conan that's why, they've been friends for a long time. I'm really glad he feels comfortable tho
He is literally wearing a shirt of himself as Ace Ventura as a parrot
Great comment I did not catch that. Re-watch. 👀
Oh wow i didn’t notice that. I want a shirt like that. I wonder if you can buy them.
i believe its a reference to him explaining that anthony told him that he copied snakes to play hannibal lecter. So, when he played ace ventura, he copied birds and its movements to create ace's particular gestures and walks.
@@tkr8866 I went back to watch it. That is priceless, great detail only one who truly knows his movies will catch that. Yes it makes you want to buy one.😊
Well yeah of course he's doing that literally... how could he figuratively wear a shirt of himself as Ace Ventura as a parrot?
Notice how Conan makes his guests relax and just tell stories. For Christ's sake, he made THE Jim Carrey relax..!
A task even Ritalin could never accomplish
I agree! I love Conan. He is the ultimate in humanity.
they were both on SNL, so its more like 2 comedians sitting down
even better, I loved the way he made Jim laugh there in the end 6:19
@@MattMillwardUK Jim was never a cast member on SNL. He was on the show, "In Living Color".
After watching late night talk shows for 20 years here's what I learned from great late night host's ingredients for a great interview... 1. show interest in your guest 2. Make your guest laugh 3. Ask interesting questions 4. Uncover guests hidden talents. 5. Have fans learn something new from the celeb guests. 6. Let guest show their sense of humor. 7. Be humble by letting celeb guest shine.

@TampaTec - Yeah, I agree, and thankfully Conan basically just let him speak

That was probably the most genuine laugh I've heard from Jim Carrey in a long time.
Cador 0223 my thoughts exactly
Would've been kaufmanesque
This is the comment I came for
@@MSKRD7 Conan has a darker sense of humor, he joked that it would be great if Jim tore the sketch of Conan up in front of him and laughed. The idea being Conan was extremely impressed by Jim's sketch and really wanted to keep it. Hence the joke. It's a bit of outrageous humor. It's hard to describe Conan's jokes. They're quite immediate and multifaceted.
Why is Conan the only talk show that never makes trending?
Because he's the only good one.
He has been on trending many times here in the U.S actually.
He’s always trending

@phosphorescent wave no I don't think so
@@aaryamannambiar6677 Yeah, I do believe Conan and Jim had great drawings given the little time that passed.
phosphorescent wave I can see how you might draw that conclusion, but in the realm of talk/panel shows these events do usually happen on camera. It doesn’t seem that way because majority of the interview is edited out. I imagine they were drawing for around 10-15 minutes total, as that’s how long is usually given for live segments.
That's some really weird punctuation.
@phosphorescent wave it was an entertaining bit nonetheless.
I really miss Jim Carrey's humor in movies. He was such a hero and icon in my childhood.
Cedric he’s the bad guy in the new sonic movie coming out
@besixdouze Actually, he's doing better now. When Carey was at his best, he said his comedy masked his sadness. He was playing a character to hide his pain. What we're seeing now is the real Jim Carey. He's learning to be himself. Just because you don't recognize Carey from before, it doesn't mean he's calling out for help. He's just more comfortable in his skin. His previous comedy was a mask.
besixdouze wouldn’t u be the same if ur mom dies
Cedric and now he sucks
@besixdouze I mean, Jim has always been really intense. I think people saw him as a funny guy on screen and assumed he was a barrel of laughs all of the time? Check out The last man on the moon, on netflix if you want a glimpse of his process when making movies and such, it's pretty crazy.
