@@autopsy69 you still need a personal relationship with God. So although it can be your family or self, you need to build that relationship by "speaking" & praying to your deity. The choice is what you pointed out, but what most people forget is that you need to communicate with God. Our ancestors believed in God, & as cool as it is to have the internet with smart phones, we honestly know that they - nor we - are God. Jesus is a component of God, but the true definition of the Christian God is The Father, The Son, & The Holy Spirit. It is a triune God - that by The New Testament, has socially accepted the name Jesus for God. This doesn't stop other cults or religions from defining God with their own interpretations, names, & definitions. Athena, Zeus, Poseidon, Ares, Apollo, & Hades were each worshipped & on the minds of their followers for the same reason as above - to build a relationship & communication - for spiritual guidance. Thus offerings & sacrifices were made to honor & display their love for their god. Now, for us to embrace nature & spirit as one, we must evolve our thinking above the binary & triune deities. We must go from a letter, to a triangle, to now a pyramid. A four component object that in itself is mathematically & universally recognized as artificial & cosmic in language at the same time... a God defined by 4 rather than 3. With that definition, I still name my God Jesus, because everything Jesus stands for & represented must be included with this composition. To take what was & turn it into what is & what will be... God's name is Jesus. Because I believe there can be nothing without the word, & the word is God.

I think these verses are more in the spirit of the conversation: Hebrews 13:16: “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” Peter 4:10: "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms."

Chasing daylight speaks to me on a soul level. It feels like the start of a journey. And yet there's some sadness behind it, like it's a journey being started by someone who's been hurt again and again, but they keep standing back up and refuse to fall to darkness. They keep deciding to do good despite all the pain. Then it all clears up and they find what they were looking for.

I played this song while driving to a beautiful sunset spot where a girl I once loved use to take us. The sun was glimmering off the passing lake on the way up to the spot, people laughing on their boats, light breeze in the air. It was amazing. I felt sadness and joy at the same time. It was wonderful. I felt alone and yet connected to things around me. For anyone going through hurt for any reason. Remember, life's color will return. Just be still and look for the sun.

I want you to know that this mix was the official soundtrack of my thesis journey. I have listened to this hundreds of times pulling all nighters and struggling through writing my chapters. I have stared at the incredible visuals allowing them to utterly feed my soul. I even used a screenshot of this image in a learning unit I presented to one of my classes. Here I am 3 months later, watching / listening to this again, and it viscerally feels like 4 am to me (reminiscent of my all nighters writing my thesis!) :)

Absolutely beautiful ❤️ I died once and went to dwell in a tree very similar to this one. It beckoned me, come and be healed. As I neared the trunk I was gently pulled into it's multicolored light filled center. I began to absorb it's light and was slowly rising up towards the branches. The higher I ascended the pains and trauma of life were like dark iron deposits in my chest and abdomen. As the light gently enveloped these deposits began to melt and then as of by a magnet were pulled out of me like beads of sweat. Once cleansed I was ushered up to the top of a branch where I sprouted as one of the tree's new leaves. As time passed a comforting breeze sent me off into the cosmos to begin another journey.
As someone interested in altered states of consciousness, I want to say this little story is wonderful and sounds simply awe-inspiring.

Been thinking about my organ donor whom was murdered eleven years ago and I still carry living pieces of her in my body that is a tomb, and she buried alive in pieces in bloody darkness. Songs I played while reading ancient words of Revelation 21 and 22 thinking about the amazing short life of Lady Morgan Leigh Judd whom started ballet at age three and she was murdered by a drunk doctor of all things at age nineteen. I never dreamed I would live this long or even survive the first surgery... thank you Pandora's Journey for your music posts. All I am for the amazing lady that keeps me alive and never spoke a word to me in this life is a living tomb, epitaph and Emery stone... and my real last name is Emery. It would be nice if Revelation 21 and 22 are true... but I have my days that I am not so sure for all the sorrow on this planet. Reading such words gives me a path in this journey to deal with sorrow... and songs like this collection has. Wish you all the best... my donor was Morgan Leigh Judd, born on September 8th, 1992 and declared legally dead on December 6th, 2011. The next day her living pancreas and left kidney were sewn into my body in a 12 hour surgery... I never expected to survive. I am very surprised thinking it all out that I am still alive in the miracle of life today. Wish all of you the best for 2023 coming up and further that listen to the collections of Pandora's Journey...

I met my mother in a dream, she asked me to walk and left me alone under the muscle tree like this music cover. She asked me to touch to the bottom rod of the muscle tree then after she dissapeared. In 100-day she passed.

Listening to the second song, I Walk With Ghosts over and over again puts me far from home. The darkness of the suffering people around the world, clinging to the sunrise for support in lieu of falling with the sunset. The planet is suffering. We poison her air and water, pillage her soil all the while humans fight and murder each other with no regard for the brother or sister to our left and right. We must as a people come together. No more war, no more ghosts of our past failures let us walk arm in arm as free men and women; striving for equality, health and prosperity for all.

Tears are rolling down my cheeks, memories of the past and thinking of the empty chair at the upcoming Christmas dinner. Lost my father almost 3 months ago and this beautiful music touches my soul, my heart, my humanity... and make me relive the pain, the warmth and all the memories we shared. I miss you :-(

I so wish I had just one memory like that with the toxic abusive alcoholic that was supposed to be my so called "dad"...he's dead now, he died about 2 months ago from the cancer (no surprise) he'd been dealing with for years. Part of me still does not care at all that he's dead...so many unresolved traumas with him, and he's dead now...I can't even listen to this music, it hurts me too much...I'm crying now...I am so alone...just brings up painful crippling memories. That I'm still literally living in at damn 39 and experiencing still living with the equally toxic and abusive person that's supposed to be my so called "mother". 😕😥😭😖😭💔🤮💔😖

A door through which you can walk. A window through which you can see. A portal of possibility, carved through years of villainous infirmary. Your wounds are actually your apothecary, Your sweet medicine, your true saviour. Your guiding light. You are the light. That shining constellation in the darkness of night. Your life story becoming some one else’s survival guide, the path you’ve trodden, the barriers you’ve broken, the cages you’ve walked out of. The freedoms you’ve found. The understanding profound. Your scars are your map, to the medicine inside. No deal to forge, just a place to be met. You with yourself. You with your pain. No bargain to strike, nothing to do in vain or in spite. And there it stood, in all its glory. "The holly tree will stand, as it has done for a hundred years, bathed in celestial light, and remembering the yuletide magic of bygone winters..." She read out from a crumpled piece of paper, her hands shaking. After all this time, here it was, light flowing from the tree like a life force. She stepped closer and knelt down before it, bowing her head as she did so. "O Gracious Tree, please will you grant me a request? I have travelled long and far to find you for my brother is gravely ill. Please, spare him from death, he is only six." A tear dropped to the ground as she spoke and the light of the tree grew stronger until she became engulfed by it. She closed her eyes, unable to see, and felt herself lifted from the ground as if by the tree itself, though she was sure she wasn't touching it. Nobody spoke, but the girl felt a voice enter her mind "Your request has been granted. Your brother has been spared from death. Now, child, I must ask a favour of you. Humans in generations yet to come will abuse the powers I hold. I need you to destroy me, please, so that I cannot be used for evil. I have lived a hundred years, I need not see any more of this world and its solitude." With that, the girl felt herself drop down gently to the floor. Her eyes were a flood of tears as she produced a small axe from within her toolkit. Trembling all over, she raised the axe and began to cut the tree down. It felt like she was ripping into a beautiful, innocent, pure soul. She screamed in pain, in agony, as she felt the life of the tree draining from it, the beauty it once held turning to dust. Finally, the light completely died as the final blow was struck. The tree fell to one side, the ground shaking like an earthquake. The girl was left in darkness. "Thank you," she sobbed, before she turned and ran, unable to control the agony she felt.

I was and am super excited for this mix. I just want to say I usually pull up your videos to work too when I need to focus. But midway through I walk with ghosts it got so powerful I had to take a moment as I was just overcome with emotion and has to just sob as I continued to listened. Truly a beautiful work. The piece I Walk with Ghosts astounds me. The last time I listened to it was similar to now...I am a bit numb. I strive for beauty and wonder. I seek truth that eludes me. I see pain and suffering all around me. This music allows me to take respite and then center to begin again. Scott composes and performs love, which is the most powerful energy in the universe.
