Unclogging And Eroding Thousands Of Pounds Of Sand
I do not encourage anyone to enter culverts, unclog anything, or enter flooded areas as it can easily become deadly without the proper training
I unclog drains for fun in my spare time (I have been trained in culvert inspections for years with private co.) and I am osha trained.
Exploring anything abandoned can be dangerous or deadly without experience. I don't encourage anyone to enter any abandoned structures. Not only is safety a concern, but often times its illegal, and when possible I seek out permission from the owner or local police. I simply go to document its history before it's gone forever and I leave things the way I find them. I only take pictures and only leave footprints. I assume all the risks and responsibility before doing this. Please don't attempt to do this on your own. There could be nails, asbestos, falling concrete, soft floors, animals, or other hazards. Thanks for watching.

Your enthusiasm is so infectious and very satisfying to watch! I catch myself looking closer at every culvert I drive past anymore lol very inspiring
Yeah me too. Excitement builds involuntarily...and I enjoy it.
My and my two boys love these videos. We put them up on the TV.
Whenever I see strong flowing water in a drainage area, I always imagine Post10 is just upstream working his magic. Truly a legend of a generation my friend!
He's like the Johnny Appleseed of engineering, protecting the water-flow planning we paid for with our tax dollars with his own labor and asking nothing in return but some attention to/appreciation for his efforts. This dude is the embodiment of Lawful Good alignment.
I adore the excitement Post10 has towards culverts and flowing water. We need more people in the world like them.
You must have a proud family post 10 because we are, much love from Australia 🇦🇺 God bless 😊
Great video. Thank you for uploading a shortened version. It's nice to have variety!
Good job mate😊
Still some of my favorite content on KZhead
Thanks for your amazing films. We are in Devon, England and my husband and i really enjoy watching, they are very relaxing. You are so enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Better than anything on TV.
I was literally just looking for a new unclogging video to play in the background while I worked--couldn't be better timing. Thank you Post, love the water sounds! Also, I so admire that you're out there while it's dark out--stay safe (both you and Mrs. Post)!
What are you working on
@@nomusicrc I'm a medical student! So studying. Lots of pathology content :)
@@dubblebubbletoilandtrouble6646I wish you luck with your studies and careers. Not the lightest workload you could have chosen.
I watched the full video. But it was so good, I just have to watch the shortened version as well.
All hail the master unclogger!
Hey Post! We just got done watching the "director's cut" version of this! Great work as usual. Thank you!
Love what you do! It also really showcases the lack of inspection and upkeep on key infrastructure. Not just this culvert
17:13 "That's water logged."
Is that what that word comes from?
@@chrisrus1965Yup. Simply because of how long it takes for wood to absorb enough water to sink, and how heavy it becomes.
@@chrisrus1965 It's a nautical term first recorded in 1759. 'WATER LOGGED, the state of a ship when, by receiving a great quantity of water into her hold, by leaking, &c., she has become heavy and inactive upon the sea, so as to yield without resistance to the efforts of every wave rushing over her decks.' i.e. "reduce to a log-like condition."
Stubborn log, took it's sweet time coming out. My favorite part is the water blasting. Those rocks were really loud. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
😌 I love Post10 channel
Excellent job mate 👏 big luvz from Australia 🇦🇺
This has become one of my favorite channels on youtube. Probably 2nd place after Curious Cars. Anyway, thanks for the videos and congrats on the success, you deserve every bit of it!
Love this! I had a similar problem on my campus with a log blocking a drain in the woods. Tons of standing water! Was able to get it up and moved and caught some looks because of all the mud on me lol 😅
Awesome video, Post 10! Stay safe out there doing these swift water unclogs. Keep up the great work! 👌👌👍👍
I feel like a kid on the ocean city nj beach trying to battle the waves. I love your excitement over the erosion.
Post gets so excited over the simple victories 🙂
I've never cheered so hard for a water-logged big log!
Like the really long videos. Never get bored.
You're a true Horsefighter!❤
these videos are so cathartic. great thing to focus on to reduce anxiety
The Culvert Crusader 🎉
Love it!
I have the same ailment as you! Must let water Pass! Love your dedication and work!
That in-pipe-drama was... intense!
What a gusher! Nice.
Cant find my last message...so will mention again... lol... I love 💙 seeing the water rushing against your boots. And the sounds of the water hitting the rocks .
Watched the full video yesterday! Thanks for the short version, will help me unwind from work
The video is great! You did well!👍
oooooooh, that looked like so much fun! I miss being able to get out and do things You make life more bearable for me! LOL You showed Big Log who's the boss!! Thanks. Hope you got to sleep late.
Great video as always!
Really good job mate , from Sydney Australia I love watching the work you do , well done .
More great stuff Post 10! I actually jumped a foot because an advert came on just as you were climbing out of the plunge pool after going into the culvert to get the log and for an instant I thought you fell. Glad you aren't doing this alone, especially at night. Some of those rocks look so pretty even in the limited light of the spotlight, I'd grab a few. Are the glasses new? I don't recall seeing you in specs before, not even during the camping. They look nice on you -good choice.
I've never been so invested by a log before. Nice.
Brilliant work Post ❤❤
This was so satisfying thank you
Keep the good work up, great content
cool good clear drain i find myself mentally helping you clear the big logs
Love your videos! Makes me want to go out and clear culverts myself, lol
Great video, Post!
I really enjoyed this video!
This has got to be one of the best yet if not the Biggest Unclogging! !:- )
Good work
these videos are so satisfying. i feel like i would enjoy doing this type of work
Good video post, one of your best for a while! Good luck on your adventures
These vids are so insanely satisfying to watch.
Cool video as always. Stay safe out there.
These videos always remind me just powerful water can be
another banger of a vid!
Spring thaw looks to be your busy season! I wonder what brand your rake is. It sure is getting a workout! This is the second time I've watched you head inside to free a log you sent in. I think those branch stubs all around them combine with the ridges of the pipes to hang them up.
As SOON as I saw you push in that huge log, I was like 'hold up!'
Strong Flow!! I was worried it was so strong if you lost your balance it might suck you in
This was a beautiful water flow.. you r so strong to get those large branches out..
Post 10, the human excavator. Love the nighttime videos with those high powered lights.
This is a repeat video but it was good so I’m still watching. I like the longer videos
That looked fun. Good vid as always.
The amount of sand sediment is unbelievable.
I really hope you keep visiting this one to keep it clear, it's a great location 👍
My man is working!!
Intense job post, stay safe out there friend
It's momentarily the only sound I fall asleep with.. waterfall sounds.. or with tumbling rocks/pebbles added in the mix. Does make me think of you childhood, the pond with waterfall in the yard at bedtimes... soothing me into sleep. One day I hope 5hat Post10 will make me, and those that sleep well on this sound, a video of it! Hope you see this comment, Post10.. it would be greatly appreciated 👌😃
I watch it like iv never seen it ye as i love your videos ❤
SHOW S. YOU CARE!!!❤. THANK YOU!!!!😁👀👍
We had heavy rain here in NJ at the Shore a few weeks ago. I had made certain the storm drains in my neighborhood were clear. One of my neighbors asked what I was doing as I checked the drain in front of his house. I told him that all he needed to do to keep the water from filling the street was to remove the leaves from it. As I went to visit a friend, I saw that one of the drains was clogged and the water had gone into the area behind it. I went back the next day, with boots, the rake & a bag for the debris. It was a good thing I took 2 plastic grocery bags as it was really stuck in! It took about 20 minutes and the water started flowing fast, blasting from the flooded area! It was almost cleared up by the time I was ready to go!
I absolutely love these erosion-centric videos post keep em coming where you can
another banger post don't miss
Very nice my friend
👍
We had an 81 cj7 Laredo jeep,we put 31/11-50s on it, Goodyear Wrangler ATs,we never had a problem,we ran them year around, done great in mud cause there pretty aggressive, and done great in snow:-)Might want to check into them!!
Epic video this one is. Don't need no lightsaber, just a good rake.
Post10, you and Below the Plains is why I stay up late. Awesome videos.
Curiously, I was reading the other day about how romans used to change the course of rivers and use the water to dig up or expose minerals. I was wondering how useful or how efficient that would be, but seeing the water in this video clearly shows how good that works. Thanks, Post.
Amazing 🥳🥳🥳
is this a shortened version of the vid i watched earlier today? if so, sick! I am down to watch this again lol
You can wash away the good pieces of wood. But it can also be used very well for repairs. You also hide the following water passages.
Solution. Suspension. Saltation. Traction. The ways water moves material
AMEN
The anticipation! Will Post 10’s big log come through his number 2 pipe?!
A thousand pounds of sand??!?! Count me in!! hahahaha
Welcome to the Rock party !
Hello from the rocky mid coast of Maine, Brunswick, US. April 29th, 2024.
13:40 Same thing I say when I'm constipated
I want to see more beavers and their dams those dams are hUge its remarkable how the land changes
Making Little Rocks out of big
Your enthusiasm is contagious my friend!!!
14:57 the suspense is killing me !
You should strap that log the hood of your truck. Like one would a trophy buck.😆
Get your gloves on sir and great job be safe out there 🙏🏾🫡💯
Apparently very clean water There must be some good fish in this river
Where are your gloves, darling? Please be careful with handling that debris.
Dont think hes that worried about it unless its close to the city
🤓Twin culverts seems like a design flaw. Won't the center portion always be prone to damming?
If the flow keeps up, that plunge-pool will empty out in time. Might take a couple of months, but it'll get there.
I love the haters on here sitting on their butt complaining about how hes not doing his hard work to meet their expectations. Get your butt out there and work for free and see if you find it pretty low down for someone to tell you it wasn't good enough. Jeez.
How tall are you? I did not thing you would be able to fit in there, you must have a strong core/legs to be able to stay like that
See how the light source is behind the camera and that allows us to see debris under the water? A polarized lens for recording in the daylight would allow for the same effect. Good content anyway. Have a good one.
😎🌵
