Hey guys, Just thought I would squeeze this 18:23 vid in between my editing the 2nd part of the Drill Rig repair. Been doing a little bit of This and That in between jobs. Lots going on. I also had some of those big yellow crane repairs in between as well. Unfortunately they no likey me filming those repairs😁😁. I've been trying to get this Ole truck running for quite some time now but hadn't made the time. I'll be making some videos of the modifications to this and to the forklift but as you know, time is never on our side. When we have the time. we don't have the money and vise versa. As a heads up, I have another Broken Banana video coming up. This one was a bigger challenge than what I first expected. You'll see why soon. So, kick back for a few minutes and let me know what you think of this Ole Gal. I'll see if i can link the video collage I made of this truck several years back. If not, I believe its titled " 1941 chevy 3500Hd". Check that one out too. Thanks for the support.
Isaac, i'm not sure that you understand your followers, and i think i speak for the majority, we just want to see your videos no matter what you are doing, you have taught me a bunch on technic using a torch, i watch how you position yourself and the way you are able to make the torch work for you instead of the other way around but the truth is even though you are bar none the best torch man i've ever seen that aint why we watch your channel, you my friend are so freakin humble and your demeanor and attitude towards everyday stuff makes us want to watch you even if you just taking us for a ride in a really cool old truck. truth.
I appreciate that. Thank you
20 second in and IMO the best part of the truck is already seen, a stick welder clamp for the stick shift lol
Lol. It took me a moment to figure out what it is, then I had a good laugh.
I miss it! Had to go back and re watch! 😆
I think that's cool little shifter first thing I notice to lol
This is the 3rd truck that has had a shifter like that. My current rig has the same one too!!😁😁😁😁👍👍
NO power steering, air ride seat, electronic crap, power brake ....NO modern design.....shes a beauty. Great video.
Yes I dig it, what a beaut ole rig. Simple and elegant, none of the crap of todays trucks, love it.
Much better, more, servicable and dependable than trucks 80 years newer.
Helluva good choice for engine.
Love old-school stuff that needs to work. It don’t need to be scrapped because if we scrap them once they’re gone, they’re gone love it love it used the hell out of it.
You are a working man who does KZhead for fun. No complaints on the delay. Yes we want more vids. But, as I was told as a kid. Want in one hand, ish in the other and see which one gets full the fastest.
Hey Isaac,Love the patina. Don't change a thing. I like the old school look.
Truly digging that STINGER, for a shifter knob!👍👍
That old Chevy is very cool, thanks for putting it on 👍 can't wait to see it with the bugs worked out
What a sweet ride! Thanks for the great shackedown video! I bet that chevy turned some heads! 😀👍
*I C Weld* She's a real beauty, thank-you sir for taking the time to bring us along. GOD Bless.
That was positively awesome...... thank you!!
She's a beauty , and that front grill is a work of art . Thanks for the lift .
That the engine started made me do a jaw drop! Wasn't expecting that!!! Any vid you put out is a good vid!
Olá amigo, que maravilha!!!Aqui no Brasil um caminhâo deste reformado vale uma fortuna!!! Boa sorte sempre!!!
Nice truck, Isaac. From an era when life was much more simple.
Thanks for the ride. Cheers
My first ride. No key start but a peddle to engage starter, vacuum wipers, gear shift had a lever for reverse lockout, roll out front windshield, 216 engine, enclosed drive shaft. Cut fire wood with it in High School. Explored logging roads. Great ride for a boy.
It’s a really cool truck . The 292 is a good motor but they love drinking gas . Thanks
Well, imho 1941 was a very good year and I'm 82, so I know what I'm talking about. 😁
Had two of these old fellas on the farm in Australia....bought at wars end in auctions. Straight 6, crash box....great for 12 year old to learn to drive in
Thanks for taking us along for the ride
Awesome 41! love to see that old iron still roaming the roads
Old trucks are just nostalgic! 👍
I can almost smell that truck cab through the screen… Love those old trucks
Very cool old "Parts Truck". I dig it for sure!
That is a real nice 41. Thanks for taking us for a ride.
I'd probably just sit here with a drink and watch these country road all evening if it was a two hour video -- caring for and taking the time, energy, and money to keep something like that in near daily driver condition takes a stable life.
Perfect truck 👍👍
Thanks for the ride. Pretty nimble old gal for an 83 year old.
Isaac once again it’s always good to hear your voice and see what you’re up to …there’s not enough for you to go around anybody works for themselves knows the deal keep up the great work… can’t wait for the motor swap when I was a young man years ago I used to drive old Iron like that on the farm old international Dodgers we had a 55 dodge it was sweet on my heart and old Chevrolet just like yours could never get it in the third gear no matter how many times we double clutch that you’re gone like Hell second and push it over and forth your brought back fond memories take care be safe waiting on the video junkman do
Nice truck, I’ve got an 86 one ton with a factory 292 and love the sound of those old 6 cylinders
like the truck. Glad to see you getting it going again and going to use it.
I absolutely love that truck. I would so tricked that thing out as a once in a while welding rig just as an advertisement piece to go around every once in a while show up on a job site. That would be so cool. Love that truck love that truck, Isaac.
Bless Believe me before you're done this truck will shine with new paint & mechanically, will be the sweetest truck in Texas. Thanks 😊
The trip to the tire shop was a treat Issac. Thanks for taking us along. Best Wishes to You and Your Family.
That’s an awesome truck! Reminds me of a truck I helped my dad build back in the ‘70’s. It was a 1946 ford 1.5 ton. He put a 390 ford engine, 4 speed transmission, auxiliary over/under transmission, and a 2 speed rear end. He bragged that he could put it in low in all the tranny’s, let out the clutch, go to the house for a cup of coffee and when he got back it would only be a few feet down the road!😂
Nice orange 57 Chevy parked in the drive. The 1941 Chevy truck is a survivor for sure and not bad either.
Oh my, my very first car (in1960) was a '41 Ford ! Love those teardrop headlights
Thanks for the ride! Cool truck, nice shifter.. I dont remember you getting caught at any stop lights. 🤣👍
Great vid. The truck is a beaut. I love these drive arounds and to see who much space you have over there in the US. I realise how small and cramped the UK has become.
That would be sooo cool to have on my driveway!! Great, Mr Carran.
A real nice 1941 Chevy pick up. Look forward to seeing more of your videos. This was great enjoyed going along with the ride. 😊
That was a very nice 57 Chevy in that lot were the 1941 was parked in. That 41 ford sure would be nice to own.
Hi My Dear Friend Very Very Great Job ❤❤❤❤❤
My first vehicle purchased in 1969 was a 1936 Chevy pickup, all though it was highly modified. Cadillac engine, transmission and rear end, box was shortened to 4 foot, no hood, fenders or running boards. Quite fun both on and off road.
My 1st Chevy was a 1948 chevy 2 door coop, loved that car wish I still had it. Thanks for the video and the ride.😊
My sort of work truck. I have played the "name that noise" game.
It is cool to put a Jackson electrode holder on your gear shifter...My uncle had an early 40' s Chevy 1 Ton stake for his vegetable market stand in the early 60's. Very nice dependable workhorse truck!
Love that truck!
Great old Chev! liked the video. Cheers!
I think that the stinger , is cool helping tangling Gears .
When you started out and music played I was waiting for Born to be Wild to play.

Very nice “driver” shape…, love it. Thank you sir.
That is the cleanest windshield I've ever seen!
I had to replace one front panel. Gotta do the side windows next. theyre cracked.
What a sweet sounding old truck !!!
She is Beautiful!! Sounds sweet Too!!!
Great shakedown cruise. I live in Fredericksburg and go to Austin often. Recognized some of the highway scenes. I went to McCallum High in 1960, needless to say a lot has changed in Austin. I look forward to your videos and enjoy them very much. Take care.
What a great old truck. I love how the brake master cylinder and booster are almost as big as the motor. Thanks for the video.
👍👍👌👌 Thanks for the video.
A classic Lincoln engine drive welder on the bed would be the perfect addition.
Beautiful !!
Very nice “driver” shape…, love it. Scuff her down, and hit it with a matte clear finish. Thank you sir.
That really was a shake down drive!
What a great old truck .Cheers from Australia.
way to go! don't drive it to work cause you will be late! about 45 floored, downhill with a tailwind, neat to see the 292 in it.
yeah, this old thing is geared very low. I only hit about 45-50 max. Engine was screaming. Plus it has no power either.😕😕😁😄
@@ICWeld Might need a taller diff.
Good looking old truck 👍
Friggin sick man
Very cool truck!
Sweet truck!
I would like to see you working on that old girl. A full video start to finish lasting a couple of hours long or a playlist.😁⚒️🏴
Stinger for a shifter it's manly 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Love the gear stick handle! Nice and appropriate! LOL I was expecting a Charley Crockett song like " The Man from Waco"
Pretty cool truck!
Sweet truck. The 292 engine is a 1st class choice for a classic like that. Hope you feature it when you have it in.
Thanks for the ride 😊
Like the shift handle
Sweet truck!!
I remember seeing this Chevy when you first looked at her. I’m glad you didn’t let her slip away. I’m really jealous to say but congratulations! I love this old truck. I’m not sure of the full history with her but I’m glad to see her on the channel.
Mighty Nice!!!
AWESOME 👌
Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Nice looking rig.
Yes...I dug the cruise. The 292 is a truck engine...but a big block hemi would enhance the ride to the store a real kick in the pants.😅
Beautiful Truck. My I suggest spraying it with phosphoric acid, to convert the rust to primer, no prep needed 👍
🔥🔥 Badass 🤘🤘
When the doughnut blew out i was like there it is.. now it sounds familiar like the two we had for hay season on the farm ❤
I love it. Have a 39 chevy, 55chevy and 66buick riviera that was my moms and it only has 72k on it.
Get in touch with Richard's and Tersa s transmission in Armilo TX he'll line you up with what you need for your truck tranny and converter
