    • @@noparkingnoparking There is. Multiple times. Off the top of my head I can recall a droid saying "oh my god" in Rebels, and a clone trooper saying "oh my god" in Clone Wars. C-3po states the Ewoks consider him "some sort of god" in the films. Count dooku calls a planet "godforsaken" in Clone Wars. In Empire strikes back, Han Solo says "then I'll see you in hell" ... plenty more but those are just some. So yeah, they could have kept the soup line. :P

    • @@noparkingnoparking Just because they say "God" doesn't automatically mean the abrahamic god of Christianity. All the examples I told you (In movies = Canon, btw) are probably referring to some sort of Star wars god. Using you argument, no characters in Star wars should speak English, since they're in a galaxy far far away.

      @Foaklore@Foaklore2 жыл бұрын
    • @@Foaklore i mean they really shouldn’t but then we as the audience would be rather fucked? the movies have been translated into every language so your point is null & void. also i know movies=canon, that’s why this rando talking about Clone Wars this & that is just nonsense. sure, han solo talks about hell but the concept of a “bad” afterlife is pretty much entirely universal amongst humans since death is an absolute we all must face.
