30:44 --- yes, golden knight works quite well in this challenge. I didn't play at a time where many rankers play the challenge (easy 12 win 0 losses some time on the next "day" of the challege), but I have constantly faced those who are ranked in the top 3000s. the deck I scraped off of them was: royal recruits, poison, arrows(tornado is not worth it), golden knight, bowler, pump, flying machine, and skele dragon. the fast speed of air troops makes it hard for fireball and poison to be worth it, and while golden knight is rather inconsistent at hitting the troops near it (I think it hits everything it sees in it's original range and hit stuff there so there is too low of a chance of full map chain). the golden knight still works really well here as a counter to recruits, since placing it in the middle would drag most of it to the center. this makes it easy to poison if to save dash or arrows with dash. ppl are also forced to counter if they are not in recruit cycle. i would usually put it in the corner (since they would be forced to put a tank/subtank to block the dash with 50% chance not chaining to tower if they are slow) or wait for them to cycle in the back since it would almost guarantee a connection to the tower. it also makes poison worth much more since everyone would run pump, and there's a chance it's there. (while golden kight with dash is a 5 elixir investment, it works since it would force them to play a card as a target for me to gather a push or try to push that advantage and usually fail) ... and golden night is def really affective against witch, mother which, and other mid troops when pairing it with a spell. you are right that firecracker and dart goblin doesn't work here. tried with more bait than that In the deck, but they still ended up being too frail to hold out. in comparison to your deck, this deck is not meant to overwhelm but instead for each interaction to earn me more value. this deck has a harder time breaking through since it doesn't aim to overwhelm the opponent, so wins come from spell cycle, surprise golden knight dashes, and failure to pick off the fast troops. so for anyone playing this deck, play slower. none of the spells give your opponent much of an advantage. you'll likely only take out one tower, or only deal good damage to one, but it's defensive enough that its hard to lose more health. if they agresivly poison or arrows, pushing with everything you got won't be a bad move. time when 4 boosts are on the map & see how your opponent goes for them. that would help in the long run in your decision to play recruits more aggressively or defensively. also, aside from variants of this deck and giant skele with recruits variants like yours, the other deck that is working well is the giant pump deck at top ladder, but the skill, prediction, and accuracy to play that deck is too insane to be worth it. only people I saw running it are consistently ranked.

I recommend evo recruits, mighty miner, skeleton barrel, wall breakers, goblin gang, goblins, firecracker, and arrows. Cards like wall breakers and the goblin cards are fast, so they can often get to spells first, and the swarms you create benefit a lot from invisibility, rage, and especially clone

I feel like this gamemode would be a lot more interesting if the Princess Towers were moved further back. It would allow you to go straight for the King Tower if you wanted to (with the obvious downside of both Princess Towers attacking your push). Would change the dynamic quite a bit

With respect to you being a pro and this deck working for you. It does not work for everyone without paying gems to continue. Not worth wasting gems to get all the elixir cards. Of course if your a pay to play then you would have lots of trophies and be high on the ladder as most pro players usually are pay to play. Being high on the ladder also determines how easier the matchups are. For those that don’t have high cards or high arenas don’t always get matched fairly. I have several accounts and two accounts for example have almost the same amount of trophies +- a couple of trophies. One account gets better matchups as opposed to the other account because the other account was built up with card trades and trade tokens, whereas my main account was a grind. That in itself is a testament that the game does not match people fairly. I am a free to play player and no pro but i can say something for myself that is worth noting. A few my accounts have more 3 crown wins than some of the top players in the world. On average an opponent can get maybe two of my towers but to get a three crown from win from me is gonna be pretty difficult.

i went 11-0 with this deck then lost to a mirror matchup, then choked against a bowler and the last game was a sweep gg thanks all I want to say is that people be running bowler a lot in the last few games so might wanna throw something in for bowler and the first few games are easier with dagger duchess.

Hey SirTag, hopefully you read this. I am confused with what you said at 7:55. You said you were testing decks for 1 hour. And saw that the deck showcased is the best one for the challenge. Later, around 10:20, you mention that this deck is the best for the challenge, because you were playing with this deck for an hour. How come you tested decks for an hour, but you played this deck specifically for an hour? How did you disperse the time testing decks?
I played versions of this deck for an hour, making small adjustments as I went until I finally created this. Took a bunch of trial and error to see what cards were optimal in the game mode (like I didn’t expect witch to be good cause it works well with buffs and arrows bait to be bad since everyone had arrows)
