Pretty neat marketing to be honest. Making us wait for the next patch and play it as soon as it drops. I don't know why they didn't do this more often.

because i lowkey thought sam killed firefly LMAO (my v2.0 story plotline quest stream is filled with me trying to find vengeance for firefly and get at whoever did that to her)

2.2 will explain that. the last scene is very confusing, we still dont know both sundays and gallaghers true agendas, it may end up totaly different than we expected. plus sunday just got send on the other side like robin firefly and aventurine. who knows what will happen next update

I read several theories about Sam and Firefly, but I was still surprised and expected new characters to appear. I'm still sad that my favorite character died (aventurine), but when SUNDAY's cutscene at the end IT HURT SO MUCH 😢😢 I think I'm going to take a break from this game for a while, so many tragedies have happened that I haven't even had an appetite yet 😂😢
none of them is dead tho. both are going on the other side of the dreamscape, the true land, it was part of aventurines plan while sundays was a shock indead. but who knows 2.2 will bring more twists im sure about it, idk why u though aven is dead when it was so obivous he choose to live and to do his best to come back after the abyss

@@XernesLucidbecause they kill focalors and able to make it sad But I respect what they do for penacony, they don't kill aventurine but still make it sad, and they instead "kill" A characters to setting up a plot
wasn’t invested in Fontaine or its characters at all, also thought the way they wrote Furina was wonky since her entire story was all shoved in at the end, the focalors stuff felt forced. Like we knew her for ten minutes I couldn’t get sad. Aventurine’s development was paced better throughout the quest; felt more natural and I was able to really empathize with him. Loved this story, you can tell it’s the Honkai writers doing what they do best which is fleshing out characters

Gallagher plot twist was WAY more interesting than Firefly. Her reveal was a disappointment.
Acheron so lazy wroted 🗿 No personality, no cool backstory saying about her. Only stupid "epic" moves, broken power in game and edgy vibes
We don't even get her full backstory yet, only a teaser so far
