If you’re playing on a ds here’s a tip Each hour or after you close the game when you reopen it it’ll have a different set of either orange or pink windows But if it’s not what ur looking for you can open and close the game multiple times until u get a heart just don’t save if you open it or it’ll restart the cycle

as someone who played this game for hundreds of hours as a kid, i have some ways to get Miis together faster!! - for your lookalike: set the other character to your spouse in the mii editor - set both the characters to your parents - give two characters the same last name

i have a little over 300+ hours into the game so i practically have heard every line of dialog at least 100 times by now, and if you set a mii as their look alikes spouse (in the mii editor system thingamajig) the chances of that mii and your look alike mii getting together is higher

Changing the clock didn't work because the 3DS has a hidden clock that's separate from the system clock. If you have a modded 3DS you can change it though. (by the way, changing the clock in-game through the town hall wont work either)
It's not necessary a hidden clock If the game detects a change to the clock it will refuse to change for a whole day
Which is rlly fucking stupid. Whats the point of having an internal clock. What happens when you actually have to change time? Glad the modded 3ds has a workaround

@@katniss344Figured it out? If not you can install rtc changer from universal updater. I think it should be smooth sailing from there. I wouldn't recommend changing it backwards though, although I've done it albeit I knew what I was doing

Heres a Tomodachi Life story, from me: when I first got the game, it practically mirrored my life. My best friend in game turned out to not be my best friend, mirroring IRL and my parents divorced ingame. I tried stopping my parents from divorcing / breaking up ingame by turning it on and off constantly but they just kept divorcing, so I gave up and accepted that they divorced in game, little did I know, Nintendo was just trying to prepare me for the trauma that I would face later on in life. Wahoo! I lost my original copy of the game and ever since, it has never been able to replicate the same events, in the copy I have now, my Mii is practically opposite of who I actually am, he hates my favourite food and my sister in game loves my irl favourite food, so it's like, I am my sister now. or perhaps she is me, what the fuck? Thanks Nintendo.

Actually, there's an easier way for you to get new Miis problems to solve/heart interactions. Basically, you must launch the game, see if there's a heart situation in an appartment, if not just close the game without saving and restart it. And then repeat all the steps. Ik it's annoying relaunching the game 20 times a row just to hope getting a heart, but it's easier to reset that way and won't ask you to change the date every time! Maybe you could get that revenge on Peetah lovestory! And, in doubt, try helping your Miis to be a bit more friend (never ignore friendship bubbles)

Skipping time is what causes the miis not to progress, as a lot of other people already mentioned launching the game for the first time a day and resetting for hearts is what you can do :)
I recently had two Miis join the island, meet each other and marry within 40 minutes so if I had babies allowed at the moment I guess it'd have been possible without too much clock messing around

You have perfectly summed up the experience of coming home after school on Tomodachi Life’s release day and desperately trying to see all the game has to offer in one sitting. It’s one of the greats
this was a great video! ive been playing tomodachi life for many years, so heres a few tips: -if you give a mii a travel ticket and they take their spouse on the trip with them both miis relationship levels will go up by one. unfortunately who they take is mostly random. theyll choose 1-2 miis that theyre close with, so if they have a lot of friends its harder to get them to pick who you want them to. -the more friends a mii has, the better. definitely dont want to skip out on the orange friend icons. Miis have to be friends and also on good terms to start dating, so the more options the better. -im fairly certain you can use a modded 3ds to get around the time travel thing. if you have a 3ds i highly reccomend modding, its super easy :] -as many people have said, every hour or so the game will refresh the mii thought bubbles and add at least one orange one, and sometimes a pink. if the other conditions for someone to have a crush are met (on good terms with a friend of the opposite sex) then theres a chance for a pink. you can close and relaunch the game to refresh these until you get the pink. make sure you dont save until you get what youre looking for or else it will lock in the roll you got. -streetpasses on the ds only happen every 7 hours i believe. to get an islander and not just that islands import wear, you have to have a fully grown up baby on another island and send it off to travel the world. bonus fun fact: the streetpass item selection cutscene will always take place after you unlock and then leave the hat shop for the first time. the little quiz you take before hand actually matters, too. Each answer gives you a different pool of items to pick from at the end. each items color is random. i hope these help or are at least interesting! I have a shit ton of hours in this game and i absolutely adore it.

I dont think progressing the kid stages enough to reach the credits is possible but actually recently i started replaying Tomodachi Life and had two of my miis start dating and get married in the span of a couple hours, it was actually really funny haha. Also im pretty sure if you get streetpass connections on an old island then delete that one they carry over to the next, since I also got some travelers from old streetpasses on my new island during the first day, which made the campsite open on my island's first day.

I’m sure someone else has commented this- but there is a way to move relationships forward once they’re established. You need to use your travel tickets!! Once they go on a vacation together their relationship should jump up one or two levels. Time traveling ONLY really affects the shops & the natural progression of relationships. I really think Tomodachi life is beatable if you’re lucky enough to keep collecting the travel tickets!!!
I played this game originally when Family Video was a thing and only had 3 days to squeeze as much as possible out of it before we had to return the game. I KNOW I “beat” it using the travel tickets to get my Mii married & have a kid. :)

For the quirky questions it’s not entirely random, you can choose how quickly someone is and that influences it somewhat.

this game brings back memories. It seems so silly now but I can really remember getting invested in making all my Miis happy and giving special treatment to my doppelganger always giving them the best outfits, food, and items.

9 years old me found the solution but it’s a lot of work: Set the time at 11:58 pm (right before midnight) then go in game and let it breach mid night in game. Then save and go back to the DS clock to the morning (10am) Boom, donation box is there and you’ve breach time! Hope this helps and hopefully you’ll make another video trying it lololol (This only work if you want to skip a day at a time, btw)
Also, you can control if the confession s are successful or not (if you don’t want to happen just ignore it) When you see a heart bubble immediately save the game then go to the mii, if the confession is unsuccessful close the game immediately and try again, the outcome will be different, if not just do it until it’s accepted! (Don’t let the scene finish tho, as soon as the mii says “I’m sorry..” close the game and try again)
Sometimes in the zoom in quiz, it zooms into the white background and you just have to plain guess. I've never hated a pearl necklace so much since Tomadachi life.

I've been playing Tomodachi Life recently and it is possible to make 2 Miis start dating and marry in the same day. I'm not sure if you can make them be friends, make them date, marry, AND have a baby in the same day but I know you can do at least 2. However, to get the campsite, you have to have that baby grow up fully then send them away to be a traveller, which takes around a week, so you can't exactly BEAT the game in one day, but it might be (idk) possible to get them to marry if you shut the game off and turn it back on repeatedly or wait a couple hours. You might have just been doing it in a too close together time frame to do all at once
Time traveling doesn't really exist in this game, which is why donations didn't reset. Store restock and donations only happen once REAL life day. How can the system tell the difference? No fucking clue. EDIT: Made this comment before you figured that out mb!! Also the compatability tester doesn't reflect real chances. It's just for fun. Incredible video btw! Found it hilarious

As some people in the comments have mentioned there is a trick to progressing love in the game which just requires you to close and restart if you don’t see a heart situation. And don’t save when you do, it messes things up.
I imagine that there's an anti-cheat that prevents certain things from happening if the game detects that the clock has been tampered with, similar to the Paper Mario lottery anti-cheat.

i remember a few years back, playing this game, i would hard reset my game for HOURS trying to force a little heart to pop up on my island. it took SOOOO many tries and most of the time the hearts weren't even events that i wanted anyways so i'd reset again. it was super painful and i do not recommend it. i think if advancing all the friendship and love requests was easier, the hardest part would be getting all the streetpass exclusive items, since you'd need to interact with multiple different travelers for all the exclusive foods and collectables, and a DIFFERENT island for EACH exclusive clothing item. as a kid who only had one other friend with tomodachi life and NO internet access on my 3DS, i only ever managed to collect one exclusive food item and three exclusive clothing sets (somehow travelers from my old save files ended up on my newer island? it was weird LOL). i can only imagine the hell it would be doing this completely solo.

the reason the time travelling doesnt work is likely because the game is designed to detect and work against it, the date/time change warning you get after changing the date occurs because the internal RTC chip hasnt changed with it.
You have such an incredible delivery especially while you’re being sarcastic. And I know praise to him has been made already…but Miserable was the icing on the cake. Looking at him made me laugh, hiccup, and choke so much that I was worried I’d wake up my fiancé from the other room. But I couldn’t help it. I had to- I can’t I just burst out laughing again just thinking about him. I had to replay the part where you make him and he just says “I’m Miserable” over and over and over and it’s still just as funny as it was the first time.
