Ronnie Corbett - what a legend of British comedy! Sadly missed!
Aye easily overlooked 😅
@@colinmaynard2879 But boy don’t we miss him and others of his era?
Poor Ronnie falling over has been the funniest part of the behind the scenes for years, still is!
Peter Kay, like Ronnie was, so side splitting funny without swearing or being mean. I still remember "The Two Ronnies" and have a DVD of one of Peter Kay's standups. Very funny good people
They're such good men..
This still makes me giggle like an eejit. A 60 year old man giggling, lol.
Brilliant how Ronnie just stood there laughing at his mishap
Ronnie Corbett falling off the treadmill HILARIOUS😂😂😂😂😂 Second only to Four Candles.🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯with Ronnie Barker HILARIOUS😂😂😂😂🥲X 100,000,000.Two classic comedians who will NEVER be replaced. God threw away the moulds🙏🙏
I laugh out loud uncontrollably every time I watch this clip. Ronnie Corbett was such a great personality, it’s the perfect pick me up watching this. The genius of Peter Kay, everything works in this song ❤️
When something makes you feel ill with laughing but is the best medicine in the world. Thank you xxx
Such a lovely man Ronnie! May his soul rest in tranquility… 😢❤
This was an Absolute-Comedy-Legendary Boys and Germs...
Rest in peace to both Ronnie Corbett and Michael Parkinson.
RIP Sir Michael Parkinson RIP Ronnie Corbett OBE
Priceless, Ronnie Corbett a true legend. 👍❤️❤️
3 Great sports especially Ronnie. No hystrionics just as long as you are making them laugh. What a comic!!
Still funny as hell in 2023! 😂😂😂
When they were watching it back Ronnie was laughing as loudly if not louder than everyone else. Being able to laugh at yourself is wonderful too.
That was lovely :)
Poor Ronnie 😮 almost as funny as me accidentally hitting him round the head with my handbag in London. I was mortified at first, thinking I had injured a national treasure, he laughed and joked about it, saying I had great comic timing 😂 RiP Ronnie
What a claim to fame 🤣🤣
You know something is hilarious when you're crying and laughing at the same time.i had tears streaming.
Ah loved Ronnie this clip is an absolute peach of comedy 🤣
Absolutely Mr Kay brit classic xxx 🤗 Heather
Hope you do new stand up soon Peter! We need a bit of cheering up!
He’s announced live shows again !!!
He's on tour, keep up 👍🏼
Remember it, loved it, can't believe there weren't mats around the treadmills for everyone.
Michael and ronnie. Miss you forever! PRICELESS ❤❤❤❤❤
One of the best funny moments on tv ever. Totally unforgettable and utter magic. Thank you all for making us split our sides laughing 🤣🍾
The fact that Ronnie and everyone laughed when they watched it back on the monitor made me laugh. What a legend. You’ve got to laugh at life. You can’t expect it to be serious all the time. Just glad he was okay and they were able to all have a giggle at it
The fact they were still marching gets me lmao
priceless to watch.
Bless ronnie 🙏 and Michael
I was chatting with Ian and Janette Tough (The Krankies) once about this and Janette was laughing so hysterically I thought she was going to pass out :D
Ronnie what a true British great 👍 rip
Hearing Ronnie piss himself laughing about it was gold 🪙
priceless.
Comedy magic. All three jelled. But the star has to be Mr Corbett. God bless him. STAR 👍👍
Thanks Peter for this laugh. I grew up watching The Two Ronnies etc. and this had me laughing my socks off. I had had a few sherry’s too! What a wonderful time for comedy, sadly no more. Keep up the good work and showing us what real comedy was about!. I miss those good old days.
Brilliant ! Great to see that you’re doing stand up again Peter. All the best.
Superb
Ha that was brilliant hope you enjoyed your Easter weekend with us here in Dublin peter
thankyou sharing video.
195👍 Brilliant stuff🚬
The way I know that, even if I don't have the *talent* for it, I have the *heart* of a comedian: My instant reaction to taking that fall would have been to simply say, "PLEASE tell me you got that!", because if I'm gonna take a fall like that, at the very least, get it on tape so that you can *use* it...
I didn't realised Ronnie actually hurt himself good thing he had a good sense of humour to leave it in 😂
The British soldiers in some forsaken sand country did a video of this song that was so great that the army’s website was overloaded and broke down!
😆 🤣
Good job Neil Sedaka didn’t ask for royalties .
Ronnie Corbett made this video funny. You can eatch this video over and over again. I think its his arms and face that makes me laugh.
Good for Ronnie Corbett. He can take a joke. Poor fella fell over but even he found it funny. I laugh every time I watch and sing along to the song. Peter Kay was clever in getting Tony Christies permission in using his song for a great charity. The song lifts my spirits and the video is good apart from Saville please use computer technology to remove him.
Who’s back here because Sir Michael Parkinson’s dead?
2nd ...where is everyone?!
Where is Peter?
@@hashfingers Yeah like he's going to pin a post?!
I often used to wonder if that Ronnie Corbett slip was an accident or design. At first, I thought it might have been done intentionally but then I couldn't quite see how it made any sense. So then I thought maybe it was an accident that they decided to put in as part of the comic value, so I guess this confirms the latter. It has to be said, the way this was done was very dodgy in terms of health and safety, people will need protecting from themselves because, as Peter Kay said, Ronnie was proper going for it and even though I'm only 59 and fairly fit and healthy, even I would think twice about messing around like that on a treadmill without anything else to hold on to. I'd be very careful and Ronnie was 75 at the time? Stone me 😮
I live in Amarillo. Is that a real song?
Yes! Tony Christie did it in 1971
ARE YOU KIDDING.??? I HEARD IT IN A BAR IN INDIA GOA. EVERYONE WAS SINGING ALONG.
Why didn't they leave it in the video?
They did - it's probably one of the things that this video is famous for! I remember that Peter contacted Ronnie and asked if he could use it and straight away he said yes.
Cut it off at the best part
Our Jimmy isn’t here 😕
Thank god.
Yeah ...the video's been fixed by someone.
@@ThatCoalSoul and rightly so! If you need to see him perhaps look elsewhere?
@@rivermoon6190 Nah people like him should be marooned on an island but there'd never be an island of identified nonces ...the police and authorities would get wind of it eventually.
"Now then, now then, how's about that then?"!🤣
Jimmy Saville was also in the video...
Really? Do u need to add this predators name?
@@nicoladunne2002 just pointing out the facts.
@@tropicactus1733 fact or not. No one wants to hear or read his name!!
@@nicoladunne2002 dont tell me tell it to Peter Kay and the BBC, the Queen knighted him😱 i forgot its SIR Jimmy Saville🤣🤣🤣
@Tropicatus What was JS’ part? I don’t recall seeing him. Why do you remember that? Was he a hero of yours?
Where's Jim?
Where's that lovely lad Jimmy Saville
Mildly amusing yes, but hilarious? hardly.
Bet you’re fun to be around.
It's hilarious because it's so slapstick! Like they said, it was basically like a man approaching a banana skin. The fact that one second Ronnie was doing his dancing on the moving platform, then next thing they knew he was flying backwards past Peter and Michael Parkinson must have been crazy! They said that he wasn't that hurt, and Ronnie found it really funny, and it was all for charity!
