On top of that, relating my opinion on this show (which, I stand by my words, is magnificent not only visually, but also within its dialogue) to an estimated age in an attempt to belittle me, is quite a low move on your part. So excuse me if my stance on this show is too extreme for you, but not everyone has the same taste in shows and nor should they.

Sam said he wanted older people to understand the young people, I am an "old" person (55) and he really did what he set out to do, I got it completely, and I appreciate the show for exposing me to this world.
Also it is filmed really beautifully, the scenes on the bicycle especially.

For real lol. There are people who say that the movie Kids went too far. Not at all those things. These things happen all the time. I often wounder why some people act like their experiences are everyone elses realities? I moved alot as a lid. Plus i was in foster homes and group homes. I lived in New Hampsire to Georgia. I live in a house with a heated in ground pool to the projects. From Suburb to city. North to south.

I think this show is great for parents and may I say teens in that world. I loved the second episode which really showed the consequences of the choices in the first. Parents calling for this show to be cancelled just don't want to accept the reality of what's going on in high school .
I agree, this is real life for your kids. It's not glorifying anything, it's the opposite, it's showing the reality, which is ugly.
One of the most realistic portrayals of someone living with OCD i've ever seen. Zendaya, hands down, has quickly become my new favorite actress.

One thing I really want to commend the creators on is the pace of this show. In a world that feeds on instant gratification and staying up to date on the latest happenings, this show has captured that pace entirely. This show doesn't seem to have any luls, its one thing onto the next before you've fully taken in what's happening. It's almost over stimulating in the same way modern technology can be.
That’s so crazy how quick this show can turn. Rue’s mom went from: “I’m happy for you rue you’re starting a new chapter” at the beginning of the season to “You’re not a good person Rue”

I started watching this show a couple days ago and I couldn’t pinpoint the feeling but the closest I can get is appreciation for accuracy. I can empathize with these characters because either I’ve been there or I’ve seen people who have been in these situations. The fact that they recognize that anxiety and depression are such big parts of gen z’s life makes it feel that much more realistic
Congrats on making this feel so damn real. Whereas some shows are about taking a look at an unknown universe, "Euphoria" is more like an introspective ride
I love this dame show and it's because the stuff in the show happens to me, my friends and my school I definitely relate to rue that feeling of your body shutting down and not feeling like in life when you take drugs it's so real that feeling of not wanting to be around just for a second

I went to high school before the Internet. It was still this creepy back then, but not nearly as openly creepy. By "creepy," I mean... I guess I can't get over the scenes in the motel room and the AODA issues. It's terrifying that these same issues still haunt young adults. Back when I was in school, Jules woulda been beaten up most days, which is sad to say. I don't think there was a Jules in my school. If there was, I hope I was nice to them.
Zendaya is the real deal...her acting particularly on this tv series is spectacular.and they labeled her as a rising star?i mean,come on..... I cant wait for season 2!!!!!
Same with Hunter her first role acting and shes doing it so well telling a story! I feel like its not a zendeya show but a hunter show (its everyones but shes impacted much more for me as i have already seen what zendeya can do)
I knew the person who wrote this has to have experience with it. The scenes where the characters get high were just too relatable.
I never cried so hard watching the first episode and binged the whole series. I had no idea other people had been through the exact same things I had, had the same thoughts, and recovered and made those experiences into art.

I can affirm that things like this are pretty regular occurances as a kid, at least they were in the 2000s & 2010s when I was in Jr high & high school. Judging by the way it resonates with gen z, I'd say it's the same if not worse than it was for me and other millenials.

It feels so wild because it's like a teen drama but half as corny and twice as profound. They really brought world-class talent into every department of the team, including writers.

I've people are saying this isn't realistic but to that I say what do you know. Just because you haven't experienced this doesn't mean other people haven't. My High school experience was pretty similar to this and it wasn't easy to deal with. I'm glad someone is showing what it's actually like to be in High School these days.
The show is stunningly well done, just binged it over the past few days. Seasons need to be 10 episodes though.
This is a very different show, really shows how things really go, plus the acting by everyone is on point, definitely. My main show right now!

Im obsessed with this show i like never want it to end! Sunday night felt weird having no episode. The visuals the cast the music the stories its just an amazing show ♥️ my friends and i are a bit older than the characters but we can really relate to a lot of these characters from our time a few years back. It’s very real. You can tell the show was created by a real addict

It's so raw, real, and relate-able, it definitely portrays how teenage lives are today, for I am a teenager myself. This show actually keeps me woke and gives me hope in life. I love that the song during the credits of the first episode is "Snowflake". Completely consistent with his first response, and another example of how nothing in this show is redundant/not thought out. Such a masterpiece of a show!!

Just watched the first 2 episodes and at first I was really nervous watching this because my family and I had to experience my older brother deal with mental illness and addict like Rue. However, looking at this through an educational lens they seem to have done their research (except the high school raves, but then again could just be me for not being as outgoing at that time or growing up in an area where most parents have work at home).
I felt the same, as I’m going through the same situation. Some scenes were hard to watch but also helped me understand it more!
