Hey, guys. It’s been a wild 2 years as Writer, and it’s time I pass on the torch. Burnout is REAL, and it’s natural. From the war that raged between the I.O. & The Seven, to the Syndicates, to The Underground VS The Society, it’s been a bloody pleasure. I’m still going to be on the team, but no longer in the position as Lead of the main videos. We as a team still aim to deliver awesome films, adapting current Fortnite seasons and the lore within them. Valeria was proven absolutely ruthless when she harmed the only person who didn't raise a hand against her wrath, being Nisha. I kind of believe Valeria is power-crayzed doing anything just to get what she wants. Fort shorts, this series was amazing to the context, voice actors, and characters in this series, and i truly look forward to the beginning of the myths and morals series. Despite Newscapepro's return, that'll never stop me from watching your series and Newscapepro's series ❤

This was such a good episode. So well written. The more serious tone is great. There are so many things to love. My favorite part of this was the "Assassins of Firenze". As an AC fan, even tho that was such a minor part of this episode, that made everything 1000 times better. So excited to see what you people come up with for season 2! 😀

Honestly, I hope we get to see more of The Society for the next episodes a bit because They we're shown in Zeus' Loading Screen but All Three of Them are still alive. They have escaped the island from Zeus so yeah it makes sense they we're disbanded. HOWEVER, I am really excited to see if you guys bring Midas back in with Team SHADOW. Right Now, the story in fortnite is COOKING at this point rn. I hope we'll get to see your interpretation of it, including The Greek Gods (I am excited to see Hades and Aphrodite mostly)!!

I have just discovered this video/channel today in one of the recommended on the home page, and my god…this is giving NSP vibes and the quality of this video. It has done everything right, the VA, the narrative, the action and emotional weight as well. Although I am ashamed that the lead writer is retiring, but that’s ok. The new project doesn’t need to be rushed and idc if it will take long, but I am willing to wait for it. Yeah, after I saw the Italian inspired locations and new wall scaling mechanics I knew I had to put an Assassin's Creed reference in the season somewhere, and the movie premiere was the perfect excuse for it!
Love the callback to Raiden's nickname in this. You guys deserve props for all these
Can you believe I've never actually played the Metal Gear games? But I really wanted to do the series justice, so I did a ton of research to prepare for Snake (and Raiden's) inclusion into the story. After seeing how frikkin' awesome Raiden is in MGRR, and how iconic and memeable "Rules of Nature" is, I knew I had to include that as Raiden's character introduction. He's only here for like two scenes so I figured I might as well make it as memorable as possible by referencing the coolest version of Raiden.
I really love how you brought the chicken and Peter Griffin into it. It was a really good part❤
It was obligatory, of course! Plus, having the Giant Chicken show up was a great way to write Peter out of the season. Although, a lot of folks really want to see more of him, so who knows, he may be back in future!

Writer here. That's not the case, I'm afraid. Valeria was using the Society for her own goals and nothing more, since they'd outlived their usefulness to her plans, she disposed of them.

A message to RyuBlue, this was amazing u and criminacj did a great job and don't get me wrong criminal was a very good writer and loverly soul but ever since you joined the production, quality and most of all the upload speed has gotten better and better and to become lead writer and lead editor in I think 4 months is mind boggling great job (Also very inportant tidbit after the ambush from zeus montague he has been hiding in the underworld, apparently he made a deal with hades for protection according to the map and dialogue which works well with your story because he fell in the ocean right were the underworld is and he isn't dead in ur story so it works perfectly, we just need to wait for him to well wake up😂

@@RyuBlue it's just a few theories going around due to some character dialogue and some vague objects around the underworld and some things that used to be in grand glacier kinda as if he took them with him, also the deal with hades part comes in with character description but is still very vague apparently he's waiting for the gods to leave so he can live a normal live while still being a thief or something it's not proven or anything it's just well built theories, and do what u want with this info by all means (once again great job also I subbed to ur channel u deserve it) 😊😊

Yeah we wrote most of this before the loading screens for the Myths and Mortals season came out. In the end though, the result is the same: The society got taken out, for now. Also, who said that they're dead? ;)
@@RyuBlue well montague was thrown into the sea and sank to the bottom, Jones kinda half spared Oscar and Nisha had her legs broken, thankfully nisha has a sibling to go back too. I believe that the society will survive but in a fight against the gods, they will surely fail, and or die I feel that montague and nisha will be the only survivors, also, Valeria is so dead 💀

So two questions fortshort: 1. When will the grand master of the society be revealed? 2. Does the grand master of the society even exist in the actuall fortnite lore?
The so called "grand master" of The Society does not actually exist. The closest thing that comes to that is Montague who created it.
The idea of the Grandmaster was based on earlier theories regarding the season, but does not actually officially exist in FN lore, as far as I'm aware. We decided to keep it in to help tie the story to future seasons. And stay tuned, the Identity of the Grandmaster of the Society may be revealed in a future episode!

I don't think we'll be doing that. That happened in the Marvel universe, not ours. The Gods in our story are not the same ones from that universe.
