Celebrating my father, John Schroter, on his 80th birthday October 21, 2022 with this compilation of video greetings that I had the honor of editing together. Speaking of coincidences - probably not, unfortunately, thinking about spyware & YT algorithms, but hey - it's actually my own birthday, as I write this. Birthdays all around 🥳 Thanks for letting me vicariously enjoy your birthday experience. Plus, of course: a belated many happy returns to Mr Schroter Senior! Sir. Well done on acquiring Octogenarian status. 8 is a cool number; the black ball in pool, for example. Potentially magic too, if you get one of those crazy 8balls that answers questions. Terry Pratchett _(R.I.P. Sir)_ in his book Sourcery claims that the 8th son of an 8th son is a Wizard, and the 8th son of a wizard is a Sorcerer. The Chinese believe 8 symbolises good luck. Etc... I hope - and infer - that you have so far led and loved a plentiful & virtuous life surrounded by good people, animals, sounds and things. Whatever ingrains and outgrowns, whatever begrudges or bothers have surely happened along your lifeline's ways - you brought people and interesting information together. Evidently. Well done, and thanks on behalf of the planet. They all look like they've lived good, full, happy true & thoughtful lives, and they've made a tribute to you - surely deservedly. It ended up inadvertently cheering up a total stranger in Scotland, thanks to modern technology/random chance. How's about that for a journey eh? One Love everybody.
