Now, a violinist who can play dubstep violin music while dancing in a fountain? ... keep it up, Lindsey Stirling, 'cause I know the world has yet to see the best of your awe-striking talent.

      @jesse1995salazar@jesse1995salazar2 жыл бұрын
    • @@jesse1995salazar We have 2 gigantic fountains downtown and I can assure you they are cold at night even in peak summer when it's 90+ out. I'll ride my bike around in the dancing one to cool off and it's cold enough to take your breath away... Ya see, they are inground and the ground gets colder the deeper you go, the ground temp at a depth of 2 ft might only be 64 degrees while the surface is 92 midday in the sun. Without the sun actively warming the water heat is rapidly absorbed by the ground. You also have the fountains spraying water high into the air which is a highly efficient means of cooling it, plus the circulation of the pumps allow for faster heat exchange.. I do thank you though for telling me July is midsummer (😐) I've always wondered that. Maybe I couldn't find the answer cuz I was spelling it Mid-summer (😐). Speaking of answers, google thermodynamics and git u sum learnin' then you might deduce *_why I stand by my comment.._*

  • Although I love Lindsey, I have to put credit where it's due for all the technical support that went into this performance. a fountain that turns into a stage? that either took hours of building/planning or it was already ingrained in the layout of the fountain. and the water moves in time to the music. O.o.

    @SilverStarStruck@SilverStarStruck7 жыл бұрын
    • That fountain is at the Americana in a town called Glendale which is in Los Angeles California, I know because that mall is right next to where I work and the fountain is not deep, you can (although they wouldn't allow it) walk on it and the fountain itself can actually be programmed for different water shows. So yeah they programmed the fountain specifically for that water show but the fountain was not built for this video, it has been there for a long time.

  • She played this at her concert in Saratoga Springs! It was one of my favorite parts because of how interactive it was. She had us clap and cheer to vote what happened on stage! Everyone voted "pick Lindsey's pocket" instead of sweep the deck. We voted to search for treasure instead unsteadily home. We voted to sword fight instead of the other option that I can't remember off the top of my head. I wanted to vote "Make Lindsey Captain" but I think I was so delayed and entranced by the music that I couldn't find the right cue to clap at for that choice and they chose mutiny. Overall, it was an AWESOME experience. She was very lovely and wonderful. She had her whole crew hold hands and they collectively bowed at the very end. Something rare to see with singular performing artists. I love her work

  • The Master of Tides music video by the prodigious Lindsey Stirling is an artistic triumph that transcends boundaries, captivating viewers with its mesmerizing blend of music, visuals, and showmanship. From the very start, Lindsey's spellbinding violin performance takes hold, drawing the viewer into a world of enchantment and wonder. The accompanying video, with its stunning landscapes, special effects, and beautiful fountain scene, is a visual spectacle, perfectly synchronized with Lindsey's electrifying performance. And the way Lindsey captivates the crowd, igniting an almost frenzied energy that is palpable even through the screen, adds to the video's already breathtaking appeal. The magnificent kraken, rising up from the depths of the sea, is a sight to behold, perfectly synchronized with Lindsey's movements and the crowd's enthusiastic cheers, creating an experience that is nothing short of mesmerizing. It is a testament to Lindsey's incomparable talent and showmanship, seamlessly blending music and visuals with crowd engagement to create a work of art that is truly transcendent. With its perfect amalgamation of rhythm, melody, motion, cinematic splendor, and live performance energy, the Master of Tides music video is a true masterpiece, a breathtaking symphony of the senses that will leave viewers enchanted, inspired, and completely captivated.

If you listen to her live performances on DWTS and other shows, occasionally she does miss notes or have to sacrifice dance moves because she can't play well enough. She has definitely improved A LOT since her AGT days though, and not many performers would be brave enough to try what she does live!

    • +Kirsti Barr Two reasons; 1, they simply prefer stuff like rap (though only god knows why), and 2, clicking the dislike icon is the only way to stop youtube from recommending more of the same type of video. It's not necessarily haters. But if you get, say, cat videos showing up in your suggestion list after watching even a part of one, you'll keep getting more.

    • +spartin7755 That's what I'm saying. :) If you don't like it, move on. Why would you not like this, though? Very beautiful work, taste in music set aside.

    • +Kirsti Barr In a single word: jealousy. Whenever someone does something great - and this is great - there'll be people who dislike it for no other reason then that they can't do it. Still, I'll bet that even those people hit the replay button when nobody else is around. ;-)

  • This is one of my personal favourite videos from our beloved Lindsey Stirling. The music, the show, the spectacle. Everything seemingly planned in detail to give the people there such a nice surprise that they most likely will remember for years. I love their faces and how happy they are. And then the surprise octopus coming up as if the show wasn't awesome enough already. Just wow. The whole spectacle is just so wholesome, so loving, and kind. I am very happy that KZhead recommended me Lindsey's Skyrim video all the way back in 2012. Little did I know that depression could fade away - even if for just a moment - by clicking 'play video' on whichever video on this channel I clicked 'play video' on.
