Acting as a caretaker, they assist with church services and sometimes carry a rod before a bishop or dean as a symbol of status.

The stone you refer to is the Stone of Destiny on which Scotland’s Kings and Queens were crowned over hundreds of years. The stone was returned to Scotland after being taken by an English King many years ago. It now only leaves Scotland to be put under the throne for the coronation and then returned to us.

Despite the midnight rehearsals. On top of that the horses pulled up too far forward and had to back up. They obviously needed the Olympian’s sure hand to control the horses (she was otherwise engaged 😅).

I did enjoy watching the Coronation, noticing how nervous HM looked. He had more aplomb when his mom created him Prince of Wales. But, no matter what, a mantra kept running through my mind:"The wrong woman is being crowned". And started crying. I don't live in la-la-land. But I did, all those years ago, expect it to be Diana.
You really need to get over it. It was not meant to be. She was happy with the King & Camilla's affair after her divorce. She, graciously said that they should have married. I lived Diana too & believe it or not, so did Charles. Some things in life jyst don't work out. She was much too young & should have waited a few years before they married. Her fairy tale was just that - a story in her young mind. She did many great things before she passed away.

I saw an interaction between Harry and Princess Anne on a news video and I can't find it again. He is seated and Anne is just arriving to sit in front of him, but still standing. He gives a nervous little quick smile and wave, I don't remember if she acknowledges him in any way, but she seems to know he's there. I wish I could find this again.

*Here's a tidbit. My own observation. It still works out even though it turns out that Camilla only has only one sister, Annabel Elliot (not two as I thought).* Camilla looked a fright with that bush of wild white hair and long white bed gown, with that ill-fitting purple crown perched atop her head. Even more appropriate that the two others with white hair and long white bed gowns are *Camilla's sisters.* (Note: It turns out only one was a sister, the other a friend or lady'in-waiting or something. ) The three all looked alike, which was appropriate, *because* *Dracula had three vampire brides: Illyana, CAMILLA, and Silvia.*

Who on earth posted this ridiculous video. Those 2 women represented the Queen’s Ladies in Waiting. Queen Camilla does not have Ladies in waiting so these 2 ladies played that role for the coronation. AND, ALL THE WOMEN wore white who were involved in the ceremony, that was the dress code. There was nothing negative about the coronation.
