We recently spent the day deep in the backcountry with our buddy Sam Armanino who was working on a project with Kyle for Stio. Join us for a little BTS for that shoot and some fun skiing after a recent snowstorm.
Huge thanks to Sam for filming and giving me (Brian) the day off!

Just wanted to say that these videos have inspired me so much over the past few months to just go and have fun skiing. The radiant positivity coming from you two rubs off on me any time I watch one of these, and you’ve made a real positive impact on my life and I’m sure many others. All love
Thanks a ton Ryan! I really appreciate it. I hope to continue to share that with as many people as possible and continue Kyle's legacy as long as possible. _ B
Rip big dog Kyle
Thanks Schwaggy ❤ - B
Rip kyle, the trouble we got In too all overriding the fun we had growing up just down the street from one another. I wish I stayed in touch more, I'm forever grateful to have the memories and stories. See you in time.
Thanks for sharing. It's a tough loss for sure and I hope to keep sharing Kyle's legacy as long as I can. - Brian
Nice turns boys. Love the Tahoe footage. I'll be down that way to to ride Sierra later beginning of February. Hope the snow keeps coming down like it's been.
Thanks! Nice! Looks like you’ll be timing it well. It’s been snowing nonstop
the snow looks really fast.. i miss snowmobiling.. i was more into trail sleds but i did have a longer track..
Yeah it was! It's definitely become a new favorite activity especially when the avalanche danger is high and you want to go meadow romping in the snow.
@@TheLostBoys1 I am not a fan of avalanches..
Sick video
Thanks!
Fantastic
Thank you! 🤙🏼
Dope videos! I’m trying to do that here in Alaska but worried about riding with ski boots. What footwear are you using to ride to the top?
Thank you very much! Typically we'll ride out in regular snow boots and then keep the ski boots tucked away in a bag on the sled (MoPro's Hot n Shreddy Bag) and switch out to ski boots once we're at the zone we're going to shuttle. Hope that helps!
Great footage. What Tahoe area was this filmed at? I don't recognize the peaks.
Thanks! This was down near the Kirkwood area
What are the snowponeys' names?
Unnamed and nameless. Going to have to come up with some good names for them
