I feel the need - the need for speed! Tom Cruise, star of Top Gun: Maverick, brings the dogfight to the Silverstone racetrack. He hunts down the Channel 4 F1 team including Mark Webber, David Coulthard and Steve Jones. The former Formula 1 drivers push their cars to the limit as the Mission Impossible actor chases them down.

"Iceman? What's Kimi gotta do with this?" 😅
Can you post the final interview with Kimi you guys did in your Abu Dhabi 2021 coverage please? I missed it and really want to see it.
That was fantastic you guys! Enjoyed every minute of it with a dumb smile on my face! Super funny too!
Lol
seeing Kimi's name at the beginning made me sad
Kimi: Just leave me alone. 😒
@3:36 “Not bad Mark…. for a number 2 driver!” 👏🏼😂😂😂😂 brilliant!
🔥🔥🔥🔥
he even mentioned multi 21 lmao
@@senonperera8178 - oh no, he didn’t!
ultra roasted
LOL good catch, I remember Mark had an excellent record at Silverstone though.
I think the saying “Jack of all trades, master of none.” doesn’t work with someone like Tom Cruise, as he appears to be the master of everything he does. Incredible human being.
master of everything but religion...and of course height :D
@@timmytimmy9757 yet his height which he has no control over.. has not stopped him with his achievements or getting with hot women. To be fair, he has probably mastered Scientology hahaha
Say Hello To Editor and Stunt Men! We feel very appreciated LMFAO
@@timmytimmy9757 it’s an overused comment to undermine the talent of Tom Cruise ..he is talented period
They should change the saying to “a Tom Cruise of all trades”
It is nice to see that Tom Cruise can quote F1, just like we can quote Top Gun.
What F1 quotes were there?
Tom and his bottomless energy is everywhere! A man who loves what he does and never tires of doing it. If only we could distil and bottle it.
You can. They sell it in the scientology starbucks for $99.99 a shot.
Yeah, those are the shoes he wears, but regardless of what he picked up along the way, he's the one doing the running, he was gifted the energy genes from his parents
@@2012inca He’s not lucky, he worked hard to get to where he’s at. You hilariously give him no credit whatsoever which really undermines your whole point. It doesn’t come across as genuine.
"Not bad Mark, for a No.2 Driver" Lmao
Give me what he gets paid and I'll be happy with life ffs!
Tom had the top spot on Top Gear in the "Put a Star in a reasonably priced car". He had it on two wheels in the last corner. The guy can drive.
Tom can do alot of things... giga chad
Only two wheels? He was about to take off, surely the guy can fly too.
John Bishop then beat his time by over a second 😂😂
Danny ric is the fastest ever, but yes in the car tom did it in he was the fastest
I watched that episode, it was a maroon Hyundai or Kia...cutting corners on two wheels. Tom is dead serious when it comes to challenges. Love this guy.
The winner in this race is clearly the Porsche brand! Well done!
That 80s Porsche 911 in Top Gun Maverick was *chef's kiss*
@@tomoakley760 It was apparently a 1973 911S model that Jen Connelly's Penny Benjamin had. Being a bar owner in a Navy base town must be good $$$...those cars go for around $250k at auction 😉
I was howling at “I’ve seen the beach volleyball scene 1000 times!” And the look David shoots him 😂😂😂
He's one guy that's lived life to the fullest
Let me get this straight - a channel with only 38K subscribers just produced a clip worthy of Top Gear with Tom Cruise as the star? My hats off. Tom Cruise really is a jack of all trades. Yet when you have his wealth, you have the money to learn all this.
You clearly aren't English
It's..... a youtube channel from a large british TV channel.
@@WayStedYou Oh, that would explain it. They should add another few tens of thousands of subscribers after this upload. Which I am guessing was their plan.
@@piero17y65 You would be right. Someone cleared that up for me.
@@KNOWHOPE72 Channel 4 have a tendency to create separate KZhead channels for everything so instead of having all of their subscribers in one place (like a sensible thing to do) they instead have lots of little sub channels most of us Brits haven't even heard of.
That multi-21 must have really hurt 🤣
Tom is just an incredible Human being! Love him or hate him he is a master at all he does, And he does it with passion!
well, ask his daughter, if he is a incredible Human being... Or ask HIM, where is Shelly... I mean he is great in TG Maverick and I have seen the movie 3times already, but he is everything but incredible human being... And the Porsche in the movie is the most beautiful car ever...
no--he's a thief. Maverick was ripped off from this DOD film. kzhead.info/sun/ltiyn6V9bJaKpY0/bejne.html

Multi 21 and Not bad for No2 driver got me 😂😂😂😂
Tom is so intense in every thing he does. He singing "you´ve lost that loving" so loud...
Tom is amazing When he was singing it give me chills
Probably one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time "I've seen the volleyball scene a thousand times", haven't we all pal, haven't we all😂😂🏐
Tom should’ve started with “good morning gentleman the temperature is 110 degrees”!
The score is tied and we are up for the big one.
The dogfight was hella cringe, but i love the segment. The quotes, not just the Top Gun quotes, but also “not bad for a number 2 driver”, and the music, and the singing. Awesome
Cringe central but fun!
I don't have the words to convey just how enjoyable I found this!! When "they lost that loving feeling" at the end...they were genuinely in a state of euphoria. Top Gun meets Days of the Thunder. Loved it!!
I loved the "I have questions" look after he heard "I've seen the beach volleyball scene a thousand times"
Seeing Tom Cruise in a Porsche just feels right... Say what you will about this all being staged, but his Top Gear lap time is enough proof for me. I know he can drive.
Wait, it was staged?
@@Bert86 I think scripted is the correct term. The driving seems legit though and we already know he can drive.
Tom Cruise should buy a GT3. 😂👍❤❤
probably got some at the back of one of his garages! @@Julia25120
I remember a few years back Tom drove a Red Bull F1 car very well and when Richard Hammond drove one he constantly stalled it after a few metres.
tom cruise can drive everything. wondering will he do a submarine movie?
@@nomar2004 Needs to do a movie with Tom Hanks so that the vechile he is in doesant crash or get captured by pirates
@@qwertyu147 BEST COMMENT!
Richard is more of a car journalist. He isn’t the same when it comes to Tom Cruises Strength.
And this comment isn’t insulting, it’s ridiculous to compare the two when they have nothing in common. Also weren’t the cars different?
The most impressive thing… Tom is the oldest one in this video
he's nearly 60 !!!
Tom, loved Maverick and yes the scene ( I don't know how to let go ) had the waterworks going in me and everyone in the theater , 100% respect for doing that period . The fact his singing is the same now as it was in the first , absolutely priceless . Keep hitting the home runs guy ,I'll keep watching them .....
so relatable, literally in tears everytime a nostalgic reference or person is introduced
@@muhammadlaving2670 So true , the scene when Maverick pushes Rooster into the snow , had me , you can see him becoming the father figure he'd always wanted to be. The entire Val Kilmer scene had tears going down the cheeks because of what he's been through in real life and the fact Tom said , if he wants to actually speak then he's going to and that's it period. Glad you enjoyed it too. Please be safe wherever you are..
He flies a P51 Mustang and a jet, he drives sports cars and motorbikes, he hangs off the side of a plane - just give him an F1 drive already, he'll have the championship in the bag in his first season :D
Redbull did give him a drive a few years ago. And he was pretty fast for not a racing driver.
This was aired in 2021 when the film was originally supposed to be released, he was also at Goodwood FOS the week before.
The film industry is lucky have a guy like him He is so passionate and loves what he does
Cruise and Webber singing together was possibly the best thing I have ever seen
Tom clearly better than Latifi and Stroll
omg 🤣
I'm better than Latifi and Stroll and I can't even drive.
Don't say that. Latifi is a good driver. He... He... Umm... He crashes a lot.
Lol you'd be surprised
@@kinnugroho - Latifi is brilliant at crashing.
David: He's got a lock he's got a lock on me!! Steve: it's the parking sensor!!! 4:40 😂😂😂😂 Well acted.
10 or so years ago Tom Cruise did a test drive in a red bull F1 race car out at willow springs with DC and they were all surprised how quickly he picked it up and was a natural at driving he set times only 2 seconds slower than a F1 driver could achieve in the same car.
I hope he does an F1 movie
He is literally flying jets at 60 man is Insane and I love him
2 seconds is a lifetime in F1
@@alimantado373 Yeah, for people who have been driving those cars their whole life maybe... not bad for a guy who was in the car for an afternoon
I cant believe it, 2 only sec for a “rookie” is not possible. Is there any data or source?
Lol 😂 this was pretty funny! Good times👍Saw Top Gun Maverick twice already, just phenomenal, action, emotional great cast! It was even better the second time! I highly recommend go see it on the biggest screen possible, it was worth the wait and this is how you do a sequel right! The last 45 minutes of this film is gripping you seat along for the ride and there is a lot of heart in this movie! You can thank me later but Tom Cruise delivered in this movie, it’s easily one of his best performances! I love ❤️ this movie! 10/10
2:50 "I´ve see the voleyball scene a thousand times", and the expression of David Coulthard is priceless 🤣
Funny and good but James Cordon’s flying with TC tops the bill..😂
Im still laughing about that video.
The look on DCs face after the mention of the volleyball scene......classic
The mention of Kimi is immaculate 😂
Tom is crazy i love him as an actor
Such silliness........ gotta love it. Well done guys.
Surely I’m not the only person who used to spend their Sunday afternoons doing exactly this with their mates but on our bikes? Watching a bunch of middle-aged men still ‘playing’ Top Gun is wholesome af.
Tom Cruise is a perfection freak and loves his work. Shows what one can achieve if one loves what one does. Inspirational😊😊
THAT WAS SOOOOOOOO AWESOME FELLAS. WELL DONE TO ALL. Some good camera angles too.
I’m in absolute oar of Tom Cruise. He sets the highest standard of humbleness from a Hollywood mega star. Other’s could learn a lot from him.
scientology nut job though, no?
Oar?
Awe 😂
Agree with you 100%
Saw Top Gun Maverick and I’ve never seen a better promotional campaign ever and it was all worth it. Great movie!
Cool dudes. Tom is gaining some real credibility lately. Always been a great actor. Can't wait to see Mavrick .

This is SO well done! Thoroughly enjoyable!
Perfect video. Perfect racing..... Thank you for this good time!
Last part was classic. What a ride to be able to recreate that iconic song at the end. Good job guys.
Can there be anyone better at driving than Tom C I REALLY don't know. Tom shows whatever that vehicle is from motorbikes to high powered super cars to aircraft he is simply a natural. & he always looks like he is having fun with it ( really enjoying it) Even in the films he tries not to show that he is having fun & enjoying it) But, we all know he really is. Tom is definitely one of a kind.
And just like that time machined back to my youth. Very well played gentlemen, very well played.
Tom Cruise is like a comic book superhero who has incredible knowledge in handling many things and still being cool at the age of 60!!!
"Ethan Hunt" is a Poundland 007.
This is Quality television, loved seeing it again in Spain
He is a true adrenaline junkie and I love it!
The level of acting commitment Tom gives to this skit. When he got missile lock I forgot it wasn't a movie.
That’s what separates him from others. He always gives his 100%. In this simple skit, while the others just laughing around and goofing off, he’s completely focused. Even while just in normal conversations with people, you can see that he listens intently and uses his attention is completely focused on the conversation
Thanks ❤️❤️🥰

Excellent! Like a flashback to Tom in Days of Thunder and Top Gun combined!
You are sooo right. I had totally forgotten about Days of Thunder.
@@CammieBlueSky I wouldn't mine Days of Thunder sequel. Like Cole now doing Le Mans 24hr (that's the only top tier motorsports where someone over 50 can still win) With the Actors actually driving their car in the race like Steve McQueen and the Camera car being the other race car. There is some actor with racing license. Patrick Dempsey is the most notable. Considering how successful Rush was and how popular motor racing is recently. That's definitely a market for this

Sometimes I think Tom's career as a movie star is just a front to enable him to pick up every skill known to man. Seriously, is there anything this man can't do when he puts his mind to it?
Yes! I think he started acting but discovered the thrill of speed and power along the way and now he simply does what he loves and speed seems to be at the top of things. I love this clip all around by the way. Funny and energizing at the same time!
No…
What a force of nature Tom is ✈️
