Beat Saber is a virtual reality rhythm game developed and published by Beat Games. The game takes place in a surrealistic neon noir environment and features the player slicing blocks representing musical beats with a pair of contrasting colored sabers. I have to say, adjusting your straps looking like that classic "pulls up gloves" thing media does right before a fight, and then not missing a single note for the next like 15 seconds was the most badass thing I think I've ever seen in this game, especially as everyone else missed notes.
That always happens during songs. My straps get loose and I have to adjust them at the perfectly wrong times and I usually use the 2 seconds I have between a crap ton of notes

Most of his play isn't actually moving his arms much... I saw a comment about beatsaber on reddit, fella was giving advice to move arms less and flick with the wrists. You get where you're going faster, more accurately and increase your angle of attack which scores higher. I have honestly started adopting this policy and I have been improving my accuracy and scores, I'm still on normal though, still a noob, working my way through vol 1 through 5 aiming for full combos, on vol 3 so far.
It's so real too, I'm always tightening my straps in the breaks between hard sections
I love how chill it is until like 12:42, the entire drop looks like that hard part of spin eternally at 120% speed
You don’t really have to alternate hands much though at least, unlike spin eternally
i could do this in my sleep… then wake up and realize that was a dream and i’m actually not that coordinated
its not the speed nor the difficulty which is that impressive, it's that he has so much stamina. like, my arms would just fall off halfway through those songs meanwhile he is just going off

The most surprising thing about this video is the video quality...
There are parts where you can tell he is tired too, like after a hard section finishes and the next few hits are low hundreds and the sabers just look so limp, and then he steels himself and starts going hard again

i love beatsaber multiplayer but whenever i join a lobby and they let me choose a song everyone ends up leaving as im the only one left still playing through the map alive 😭 in other words its hard to find an active lobby with anyone with my skill level or better we need more challenge players in multiplayer

despite the fact it 100000% took you months to learn these songs to scrape 100% and the fact that you most definitely have 0 life outside VR, pretty good
I would guess that this was his first or second try on a lot of these songs, once you get used to it your arms just kind of do it for you, even if you’ve never played the song before

i played the first song (fresh - schwank) on this difficulty (11ish star ranked map), I struggled a lot trying to even keep my endurance to play it. This guy is swinging so hard cause you need to for ACC but its crazy to me how much leeway they have to be able to overswing.
