  • Hi Alex, usually, capacitors are not equal (in some cases might be, but in general case they aren't). These filter groups are made with different capacitors to filter out different frequencies. It will work that way, but might be not able to cover its initial EMI specs.

  • After watching a million of your videos, I'm almost ready to pull my ancient laptop out of the cupboard and pull it apart to try to find out why it doesn't start up. It's a scary idea but what could possibly go wrong?

  • I find it interesting that these ceramic capacitors seem to fail often, not just on your channel but on other repair channels. The quality seems rather sketchy for these components. Thanks for the video Alex. 👋 to Big Boss, Pops and Dolly.

  • Alex, what would you say is the primary reason for capacitor failure in most of your videos? Would it be due to individual poor quality caps? Or would it be more environmental or user issues? Thanks, I love watching your repairs and logic! Big Boss has big cred with me also.

    • Do you think consumer laptop manufacturers go to the highest quality component suppliers or the cheapest? Same question for the manufacturers of multi million $ cruise missiles.

      @beer_goggler@beer_goggler13 күн бұрын
    • Most current consumer electronics are over powered especially gaming related devices. Components are usually not tested long term in the real world. It's the consumer who discover issues as time goes by.
