I love when Tommy talks about how when he's older he'll be able to look back and say he was part of this when he was 17. That's so cool to think about, how much about the Dream SMP has been documented, and even when these streamers eventually move on, we'll have so much of the Dream SMP to look back on. So many streams, fan animations, reactions, lore discussion, _all_ of it is sitting on the internet for anyone to discover.

Everyone’s acting is just so good, dreams, Tommy’s, tubbos, wilburs, along with sadist and her incredible art skillz. It’s just perfect.
She really has Tommy's expressions down, especially that last scene on the bench. The expressions & movements of each character are just spot on!

Honestly I get upset when someone says Tommy is annoying. He’s such a sweet person. It’s so easy to tell by his body language and the way he acts on stream; alway so bubbly; he always has a smile of some sort on his face. Tommy is an amazing person, and to the people that find him annoying-please just look from another angle. He’s awesome, and this world doesn’t deserve him. Keep being that awesome person.

Something I've noticed about Tommy when he reacts to animatics is that he always mirrors the expressions of the people on screen (especially himself), like in this one with the 'Tubbo saying goodbye' bit. It kinda demonstrates why Tommy is so good at acting - he gets so into the emotion of it without even thinking, and I think that's really cool 👍

Yeah! It happens a lot sometimes, and people who have been to drama class always do it lol I do it too sometimes and when I have a story on my head suddenly my mum goes like: "why are you sad?" And I zone back in and I am like "wtf you mean"

The fight choreography is just on another LEVEL at this point. Like forreal, DAMN. SAD-ist really knocked it out of the park with that. I’m sure that trying to choreograph a fight while also respecting and adapting the source material, as well as putting in her own artistic influence for adapting the fight and giving it a level of realism, must have been such a balancing act, and that’s not even including actually ANIMATING the fight, nailing down the flow of the motions to give them the impact and weight that they do. As usual, SAD-ist knocked it outta the park lol

In fact, one of the main reasons the lore with Tommy being the stubborn kid having character development even started is because Tommy kept messing around at the start, and he even got banned for a while, then they had a few fight then Tommy invited more friends and that's where the lore and wars started
@@wongcayven9893 the whole reason why dream smp isnt just another survival world and has all of this crazy lore is because of tommy.
i have not seen one person make a remark on how out-of-his-mind dream looks. sad-ist really got his psychopathic expression spot-on - the crease marks near his eyes, the highlighted green eyes, the maniac smile, and the scene where they finally arrive at the bottom of his base, and he looks like a genius mastermind. not to mention, the scene where tommy strikes him and breaks his mask, and he falls down, his expression is downright amazing, the psycho smile to how angry and deranged he actually is. Bravo!
This. Something I love, in his very last few frames, his eyes shake slightly. Just a slight tremor, like he’s frantically searching for a way out - brain working a mile a minute. It’s such a small detail that didn’t have to be there but it adds so much. SAD-ist is amazing.
@@TheHedgehogGiraffe you get me! it’s the way that sad-ist can really convey emotions and states of the mind really well with every frame she draws. when dream covers his face after tommy hits him with the axe of peace, it’s like his smile mask has grown on him. the way that he glares through the cracks his fingers make stirs up some kind of weird emotion and the first word that comes to mind when you see his expression like that is ‘insanity’.
I didnt think it even needed to be said but you said it perfectly xD. She definitely has a gift of perfectly replicating emotions, even if it has not so serious moments (like the boat ride to the execution for techno). Just the small details of eye twitches or what the characters wear and do is pretty much perfect. Once again going back to Hog Hunt, she did an amazing job with Ranboo. He didnt have a butcher army outfit, he wasn't the one searching through Phil's things, and he only attacked Punz after being attacked himself. All of which Ranboo did on purpose (except maybe the skin.) She can perfectly capture emotions, whether it be through music choices or small art choices. The way characters eyes shrink when they are shocked, or shake when scared or emotional, the creases in faces, etc. The face of Dream in his base especially is really amazing. He has truly reached that point where he looks insane. But when he sees that people have come to save Tommy, people he considered friends like Sapnap and Punz and Sam or at least allies, his face goes into one of betrayed. Then when hes the one getting attacked, his face switches to fear and desperation, trying to think of something, ANYTHING, that could keep Tommy from killing him. Even Wilburs facial expression in that last scene is perfect. It's this face of "Well well well. Look who succeeded" but also has this... smirk that somehow shows what he has become in the afterlife. A man who knows what's going to happen and is ready to once again get power and manipulate. I dont even know how to describe it but it fits so well! Also the small details of if a character has gained a scar, it's there in the next video. The scar Tubbo got from the firework, Technoblade getting his arm stuck in the bar as he reforms from the Totem of undying and then having a blood trail leading to the house, technoblade hitting quackity with his pickaxe EXACTLY where quackity would have his scar form, etc.
@@CrazyNaturekitty Definitely! I can see where you’re coming from. I love the scene where Tommy’s pupils are showing shock when it turns white, and he just seems genuinely frozen. She also has a good ear for picking out good voicelines, such as the ‘Tommy, we were friends..” to a “TOMMY, WE WERE FRIENDS!”.
yeah. Combined with his voice acting, the way she animated his deranged/evil laugh (the body language, the psycho expression) looks exactly like how it would look like if they actually acted it out irl. And when his eyes shake as if he’s desperately trying to find a way out, and the way he stutters just really sells it.
This is why I love tommy, he is so humble. You know when he's acting and when he's genuine. Amazing content as always and you deserve the world

There's just so much more movement and the expressions just improve more and more you can really feel all the emotion behind the characters and not to mention the lip syncing

i love the way sadist has just kind of become instantly recognizable to the people in dream smp, and deservedly so. it just shows how talented she always is and how much work she makes for this community. so proud of her, man.

I just love how tommy made the expressions while reacting like he was in the moment, he looked all worried because he was so into the story and that just makes it so much better. sadist is fucking amazing at what they do and deserve all the credit they get, and all the dsmp members are doing such a good job with the story and improv and everything! youre all so amazing!!
