When are the screws in the gums necessary? 😨 My orthodontist never mentioned this 😭😭😭 looks extremely painful
Dont worry, I have completed my treatment for braces and many of these things are not necessary. Dentist asks you how do you want to proceed. It was painful procedure but atleast now my teeth are good

They've not mentioned it to you because you don't need them. It's used only when the crowding is a bit more complicated or if they have to correct the bite
Mine didn't hurt as much as it was uncomfortable I had to sit there. and I have bad ADHD so sometimes my body just wants to go go go.
now I regret not wearing the bands cuz my teeth flare out now
