8:51 that copper in the back pocketed the money Tommy dropped. lol
lol good catch
Tbf that was a lot of money he didn't mind losing
Nothin changes
Luca's biggest mistake was this scene, right here. Birmingham was Shelby turf. That is why his initial idea - surprised ambush hit and runs - worked and he even managed to kill off John, and nearly managed to strangle Arthur. But this scene he did a 180 and went to open gunfight - in a neighborhood that Tommy knew like the back of his hand. That's why there's a saying - "You don't walk into a lion's lair to kill it." Thanks to Tommy's familiarity, he managed to kill off 4 of Luca's blood-cousin henchmen. And this eventually doomed him - sure, his bosses back in US sent over another bunch of Mafia henchmen to back him up - but unlike the blood-cousins, these henchmen owed no allegiance to Luca or the Changretta family. They worked for the highest bidder - and Tommy used this by sending Michael over to talk smuggling deals to the Luca's Mob Rival, Al Capone. The deal between Shelbys and Capone made Capone a very influential and rich bloke - and the power dynamics changed. The men Luca had backing him up suddenly got secret orders to stay neutral and not harm a hair on a Shelby head.
Best season of the whole series - top tier 🎉
Tommy getting shot by Tommy gun
Pun
Watched all of Peaky Blinders but they pack so much into each episode, these shorts are just like watching it for the first time.
I loved the Changrettas esp in season 5
excellent show
Lewis gun jams - nothing unexpected there. Early model Thompson running a drum magazine only jams when it's a plot point - yep pure Hollywood right there.
2:29 Tommy w the clever re-chal knowing the guy ‘s clip was empty like hes playing warzone
"Magazine/mag"
What duel? That felt more like a Murder of the Changretta bloodline by one Thomas Shelby of the Outrageous Peaky Blinders.
There is God and there is the peaky blinders plus the stone fukin roses and oasis happy Mondays Rkid lucky boro fc liveforever 🎉
Soldiers may be deployed to Birmingham, but it aint because of the Peaky Blinders lel

One operator lol. I always tell gangsters the same shit when my cousin visits me. You are gangsters with guns He's been through war so it's safer for you guys to leave him alone . I had to talk to a shot caller after my cousin dawn near killed five of them when they tried to rob him when he came to visit. All these gangsters flashing their guns but 99%can't operate them properly. He was in the marines survived feluja and cane home with no filter
So cool, so sigma
these are the most stereotypical Italians ever lol
MP34 in 1920s, Birmingham.... Yeah, right.
It’s an MP18 first used in Ludendorff’s final offensive by the WWI German armies stormtroopers specially trained to fight in trenches
Solo warrior Thomas Shelby
Adrian Brody did a horrible job acting like a crime boss.....overacted, such a copycat wannabe of Marlon Brando......best part of his character was when he was killed
alright lil bro let’s see you act. he did an “okay” job. but he was not horrible by any means. you’re a wannabe angry joe show
@@sekaihokai let’s see you do it is such a cop out reply. That’s like going to a restaurant giving it a 1 star rating after they serve you dog shit and the waiter saying “let’s see you do it better bro”
@@oh-turkeybird huh? you guys don’t understand how hard it is to act and yet you sit in your mother‘s basement, acting like a keyboard warrior. Talking about how someone is bad at acting. NOW i agree his performance is not nearly as good as the rest of the cast. but it’s not horrible
Is it me or is Adrian Brody absolutely awful in this show as this character? It's like he watched the worst mob movies ever made and that's what he based his acting on.
I think he was ok. He just looks bad compared to Cilian Murphy and Tom Hardy who play their roles like they were born for it.
A terrible actor all around.
The only film I've ever only really liked him in was the pianist I wouldn't say he's terrible it's just a weird setting for a mobster to be in and sounds unusual when an Italian American is in small heath 🤣
Damn. I thought the complete opposite. I thought his acting in the scene where he and Tommy 1st met was superb. And my favorite movie AOT is The Godfather
No way. Adrian Brody is awesome in this and in “bullet” too with Tupac and Mickey rourke. He killed it as changretta
They really overused the Italian stereotype. Crappy accents, toothpick, crooked hat. C'mon, man. It ruined the show.
Stereotype COME FROM SOMEWHERE. The Italian stereotype we’re used to now (Italians w a NY accent, cross imagery, all the stuff you talked about) is derived from the Italians who formed the mafia commission in the 1920’s during prohibition, and Luca was part of that. Is it over-ACTED? Yes. But it’s perfectly in line w who these guys were
It was perfect. It made it better.
You’re goofy😂stereotype or accurate description of how they was from those years😭?
@@jalen6840white people LOVE stereotypes until it’s about white people
Lmao it doesn't need to be perfect
