Then almost got corrupted had it not been for his hesitation, only to go full christian in s4. It was slowly CORRUPTING him. So ragnar is referring to rollo when he says-best considering he was his right hand man.

Bjorn faced each of his enemies, head-on, and won every time, even being betrayed by all. He didn't want power for him, but wanted to preserve what Ragnar took a lifetime to build and wanting to protect his people. Ivar thinks he's a god and punishes people who don't act the way he wants, because he's angry. Bjorn puts his feelings aside to do what needs to be done, even if it means dying for a cause greater than himself. Ivar was nothing but a frustrated child... Bjorn is definitely the greatest son of Ragnar.

I love this show, I was sad when Ragnar was caged, beaten and dropped into the pit of vipers to get bitten repeatedly and had to suffer the way he did dying alone and in a dark cold dirty snake pit. I hope that he knew that he was much loved and respected by ONE of his sons and I honestly think that Bjorn was the only son that had real love and respect for their dad, he is the only one who mourns his loss and misses him, thinks about his dad all the time. The only thing they loved about Ragnar was all the recognition and opportunities that they get because they are the sons of King Ragnar Holdbroch

Wtf are you on? Ivar loved Ragnar more than anyone and was the first one to plan the revenge. Ubbe’s whole personality is a reflection of his father and he shares the same dreams . That’s already 3/5 sons who we know truly loved him. Hvitserk and Sigurd never said that they hated him either, they were just pissed about him leaving them alone with their bad mother.

Floki told Ragnar in season 1 that Bjorn will be better than Ragnar and Ragnar will "hate him for it" in a joking way. So what has Bjorn done? He was the first to sail to the Mediterranean. He was crucial to entering Paris He lead the largest Viking army and avenged his fathers death. Became King like Ragnar Has done pretty much everything Ragnar has done. And He's not done yet.

Perhaps it kind of interpreting on *maybe* how he might and will be the king of all norway by fate (even the buddha guys had a dream and already plan for it), yet because of harald jelousy and scheme that finally never happened. In the end bjorn still trying to be the leader as he command the defense line while harald just follow him. He did said to ask the other king to come to help in his name and not under harald's before the battle begins.

Seriously this show is amazing and I'm a true fan but there is one thing I will never understand. Where the hell does that come from that Bjorn is greater than Ragnar ? Maybe he's taller, maybe he's stronger in battle, for that I agree. But man, Ragnar was so open minded, so great with his spirit and his wits. Even Ivar is so dumb compared to Ragnar, Athelstan or Ecbert, who questioned what life was. It's not the same generation and Ivar is vain. Concerning Bjorn he has heart for sure but sorry he doesn't have any brain.

Bjorn literally united all of Norway, it's not even close. Don't get me wrong, I prefer the character of Ragnar far more aswell aswell, but just in terms of an outsider looking in at what each accomplished, Bjorn was far greater. The future Norwegian people won't remember Ragnar being an intellectual who truly cared about the deeper meanings of life, but they damn sure will remember the first king to unite the Norwegian people.

Then almost got corrupted had it not been for his hesitation, only to go full christian in s4. It was slowly CORRUPTING him. So ragnar is referring to rollo when he says-best considering he was his right hand man.
Ivar was never corrupted by power. He was like this from the beginning. Rollo was corrupted by power.

Ivar thinks he's a god and punishes people who don't act the way he wants, because he's angry. I love this show, I was sad when Ragnar was caged, beaten and dropped into the pit of vipers to get bitten repeatedly and had to suffer the way he did dying alone and in a dark cold dirty snake pit. I hope that he knew that he was much loved and respected by ONE of his sons and I honestly think that Bjorn was the only son that had real love and respect for their dad, he is the only one who mourns his loss and misses him, thinks about his dad all the time. The only thing they loved about Ragnar was all the recognition and opportunities that they get because they are the sons of King Ragnar Holdbroch

Wtf are you on? Ivar loved Ragnar more than anyone and was the first one to plan the revenge. Ubbe’s whole personality is a reflection of his father and he shares the same dreams . That’s already 3/5 sons who we know truly loved him. Hvitserk and Sigurd never said that they hated him either, they were just pissed about him leaving them alone with their bad mother.

Perhaps it kind of interpreting on *maybe* how he might and will be the king of all norway by fate (even the buddha guys had a dream and already plan for it), yet because of harald jelousy and scheme that finally never happened. In the end bjorn still trying to be the leader as he command the defense line while harald just follow him. He did said to ask the other king to come to help in his name and not under harald's before the battle begins.
But Ragnar started from nothing while Bjorn carried his father's name which enabled him to achieve his accomplishments.

I think the seer showed him the future yes. But bjorn was not afraid of Death or of die he said it himself in the end before the battle. He probably knew a long time before what was going to happen.

Seriously this show is amazing and I'm a true fan but there is one thing I will never understand. Where the hell does that come from that Bjorn is greater than Ragnar ? Maybe he's taller, maybe he's stronger in battle, for that I agree. But man, Ragnar was so open minded, so great with his spirit and his wits. Even Ivar is so dumb compared to Ragnar, Athelstan or Ecbert, who questioned what life was. It's not the same generation and Ivar is vain. Concerning Bjorn he has heart for sure but sorry he doesn't have any brain.
Bjorn literally united all of Norway, it's not even close. Don't get me wrong, I prefer the character of Ragnar far more aswell aswell, but just in terms of an outsider looking in at what each accomplished, Bjorn was far greater. The future Norwegian people won't remember Ragnar being an intellectual who truly cared about the deeper meanings of life, but they damn sure will remember the first king to unite the Norwegian people.
