I am a Seventh-day Adventist and of the songs that I love this is one of many. It came to me at a time when I need a change in my life and whoever wrote it whatever they’re reason was for writing it this song has been a godsend in my life. Hearing the people sing this has given me hope for the future and also has provided me with encouragement that I will never ring the bell and give up. I just recently lost my dad. He ended up passing away suddenly and is now in heaven. I used to be part of the lds church and loved this song and still do. Now I know my dad is watching over me.

Oh my goodness, this is making me emotional. I still remember when I was excepted Heavenly Fathers love. I haven’t been baptized yet, but I try to pray every day. I have a very strong testimony for prayer, and I know he answers all of our prayers, one way or another. Please, anyone who is suffering, pray to our lord and savior, and it will definitely make a difference (not forcing anyone, if your not religious, that’s fine) Praying will make a difference in someone’s life, I promise. This song just really touched me

I watched cookeville miracle a couple years ago, and I Loved it, the message was AWESOME and I remember being in tears after, my whole family was, I Love this song! when I go to seminary I feel closer and closer to the Savior, I wish I could remember to listen to a song. I'm just so happy, that me, my dad and my little sister all listen and even sang along before bed! I Love this video!

I remember when this was my favorite song in primary. On my birthday I would always ask to sing it. The kids would do the first verse, then the adults the second, and finally we would sing both at the same time. I loved this song. Today I was helping my mom with her primary class. We sang this song and I just started crying. The little girl sitting next to me looked at me as tears streamed down my face. I miss being s child so much right now. I want to go back. When I still believed. When things made sense. When I moved school. When I could trust my parents with anything. I don’t believe in the church at all any more and I’m deeply okay with that. I am firm in my current beliefs. But oh how I wish I could relive those days of my youth. I miss my old self so much. I’m so happy with who I am now, but it was just so simple hen. So easy.

This is what you call the prayer of heaven because it is a miracle of what these kids did in the song. The bible says " are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him." And this means kids can pray alone so Jesus can talk to them one on one.

if they sang this at americas got talent they would have had a better chance of winning
They're probably afraid of the usual anti-Church complaints, about forcing their religion on people, etc. And if they sing songs people already know more widely than our own music, their choir leaders probably think they'll have a better shot.
Sadly, I don't think they would of. Yes this song is beautiful and emotional. And yes they sung it beautifully and were absolutely stunning. But I feel like they would have had so much more hate than they received with the song they chose. Mainly coming from people who aren't religious, feeling that religion is being pushed on them, and even those who do not fully understand the message, meaning and power of this song as they do not have that connection with prayer and their Father in Heaven. That being said I feel like this would have been a much better song choice in terms of how they sung it.
