We played against Notts County at home and it’s fair to say that it was the game of a lifetime!

I’d say as a neutral that’s the biggest save in their history.
I was born in Wrexham, I live 10 mins away, and my Dads side lives there, so ive spent half of my life there. It is unbelievable to me to see what is happening with Wrexham now. A random town that was pretty much dying in North Wales now has worldwide recognition. I can't believe this is happening to the place that I am from. Insane stuff.

I was born within the glare of the Cae Ras floodlights, I moved away when I was young. I wasn't interested in football, I just didn't 'get it'. Rob and Ryan changed that for me. I supported Man U and Derby at various times in my life as a youngster but that was mainly to 'fit in' or to please others but I never even checked a score. Now I'm hooked! But not just on Wrexham. I check other scores, I watch the vlogs. It's a bit like buying an album of a particular rock group. You like it so much you want more. You buy the other albums from the back catalogue, you buy albums from similar bands and it grows from there. I'm not interested in the Championship or Premier League yet. The lower leagues have such a story.
This kind of coverage you never see as a football fan. It gives you a taste of what it's like out there, and gave me goosebumps watching it and trying to relate to how it feels for Ben. What a feeling that must be. Well done mate, great game, great save, great video.

I imagine a lot of us wanted to wait until season 2 came out, so you can sit and watch the journey all at once, but it’s hard not to get invested with them and want to actually keep up with the team. Such a great story.
I can only imagine how that felt in the moment Ben. It was emotional just watching it - I grew up watching you as a consistent keeper who couldn't have his feathers ruffled. A true icon to the sport in my eyes - great to see you with Wrexham.
Sounds weird in the American accent but Ryan’s so invested in the uk football culture and I think with the exposure and backing he’s gonna bring to Wrexham, this clubs gonna go far in the next decade. And Fozzy going back there and pulling off a save like that adds to the story. His first trophy was with Wrexham and he could possibly get his last with Wrexham aswell. Well done boys!

As a goalkeeper myself, I know that these saves are moments of dreams coming true. Couldn't be happier for Ben.
Followed fosters content for ages he's always been positive high energy guy who carried himself well. All year he's turned down various offers, some really good ones, saying it's not about the money and it would take something really special to bring him back. Man of his word all the way, loved that he jumped at the chance to bail Wrexham out when they needed it in part because they kick started his career. Then to get a 97th minute league winning penalty save on national television is something every keepers dreamed of, that game will be right up there with his other big moments, must have felt amazing.

Incredible save, Ben! I've been hearing a lot about Wrexham FC bcs of Ryan Reynolds being the club owner and you going out of retirement to play for this club again. I would be thrilled for the entire team if they actually end up getting promoted and hoping to see Wrexham get big and recognized in the future. Ryan's exposure and backing to the club is defo gonna help with that I reckon. As a European, im actually pleasantly amazed by how much Ryan is invested in UK's football and its culture considering he's Canadian.

It's moments like this that make us love football. As a man united fan I've not felt connected to my club in this way for a long time. It's so nice to see just how much the owners genuinely care and the love and respect for you in that dressing room is earned and deserved. A top professional and a top bloke to boot, legend!
My story is the same as yours, many years ago i had the worst experience at football, watching my friends team play at wrexham, i hated the club ever since, but since rob and ryan took over ive been watching and loved the story of whats happening there, wish our owners had 1% of the passion they do !

As an outsider who doesn't live in England and has no idea of the leagues outside of the premier league, I just want to say thank you to Ben Foster and Ryan Reynolds for introducing me to Wrexham. This team has become my favorite second team in english football and I am absolutely loving the performances and matches. Wrexham (103 pts.) and Notts County (100 pts) are so far ahead of current 3rd place Woking (78 pts) that they shouldn't even bother with a playoff. While that would screw over Woking, Chesterfield, Barnet, and Boreham Wood, the difference in quality between the Top 2 vs. places 3rd through 6th are about as wide as the ocean that separates Wrexham and the places their owners are from.
All the club Bens played for, all the moments he has had in career, I guarantee you that penalty save was one of his best moments in his career, thousands of people have become second hand Wrexham fans, the story is amazing and I for one wish them all the very best

Hi guys lovin the VLOG here in Dublin, Ireland and have to say one of the best 2 handed saves I've ever seen in my 60 years of watching football. I'd love to see Ben having a chat with some of the grounds people who do a fantastic job at the Racecourse and never seem to get any credit or acknowledgement on youtube. Maybe they're featured in the new documentary yet to be realeased but I'd love to see Ben interact with the people who never seem to get a look in They're probably the most down to earth (pardon the pun ) and work very hard at what they do. I'm sure its an interesting part of the whole story as well. Anyway, see what you can do. Keep up the great work. Best wishes.

In a sense it is - he’s too good for these leagues. Lets not forget a season ago he was a prem keeper and was close to signing for Newcastle as a backup. But what a fucking way to introduce yourself + what a player to have in a dressing room.

I was born in Wrexham but moved away in 2002. I have always kept an eye on the football club and seeing what Ryan and Rob have done for the community is unbelievable! Good luck with the remaining fixtures

Watched this game on TV. This was an unbelievable since you’ve got Wrexham with the famous actor, Ryan Reynolds. And you’ve got Notts County with a rich history of success. I hope both teams get promoted and keep rising up the football ladder.
