I hate to stay this but I am going to state what I think,it is feeling very racist tonight & I hate this! 😢 if we picked all 14 and the judges didn’t pick 4 I think he would’ve made it or the first guy,maybe both.
@@LaurenKaminski It's a repetitive pattern, with both American Idol and the Voice. After a certain point in the competition, it seems like most if not all black people are sent home no matter how amazing they are, and country singers always advance to the next round no matter how average or bad they are. I'm not against country singers, but you shouldn't be able to advance just strictly b/c you sing country. All of the black contestants did a hell of a job last night, and at least 2 had the best performances of the night. How in the hell every black contestant is on the bottom. This happens every year. If they're going to do this every year, they just need to call it American Idol Country Addition. It makes no sense to waste people's time, getting their hopes up high if you're only going to pick the same type of artist every year. They need to have a different platform for artists who sing other genres of music so that there won't be any biases in favor of country artists. Nobody should be denied a fair opportunity b/c they don't sing country. Last year damn near everyone that was in the finale was a country singer. SMH! 🙄

He stood with God, and now he is free to do what God made him for, and sing Christian songs under a Christian label of his choosing, and he doesn't have to wait. IM SORRY....BUT THIS YOUNG MANS TALENT HAS ALREADY SURPASSED THIS COMPETITION......baby if u dont make it thru its not because u wasn't good enough....it's only because your purpose is being directed to something & somewhere greater than the place you were at. The blessing may not turn out to look like what u wanted or how u expected it....but best believe the Lord don't make no mistakes ...& what hes got for u is something truly incredible. Now , with all that out that way...IF U FOOLS DONT START VOTING BASED ON TALENT & VOICE INSTEAD OF A POPULARITY CONTEST IDK WHAT IMA DO....that's what drives me crazy about these shows. I've been a voice teacher for 20yrs & the contestants with the best vocal ability...tone..range..that imo has the best chance at not only winning but actually having a successful career outside of the show (cuz let's be honest, there's way too many winners that we never see or hear from again) the best ones never win....& considering I havnt seen or heard but maybe 7 contestants out of the what...25yrs this shows been on....call me crazy but you'd think their success rate would be a whole lot higher....it's common sense that if your way isn't working the way it could & should work....then it's time to change up the rules !!!
