Honestly despite some of the gameplay issues, I like the more grounded looks of of playermodels, the hostage, and the fully destructible maps. Would have been cool to see a few features from this strange trailer be in the final game.

4:12 revisiting this video, you right about the full destruction part. It was pretty damn fun opening locks, shotgunning every damn person and breaking floors during the grand larceny event. It was really funny when someone from the 3rd floor would drop all the way to basement. Poor dude, he was the last attacker alive so everyone just sees that shit. However I woudn't call them cringy since that is the way that game is meant to be played by the players. Thing's I want in siege now (from the E3 trailer): the more realistic breach charge physics, the hostage ai being more realistic and can be moved by both teams, and those barricades just rub me the right way (i.e moving throe broken barricades, barricades not braking with a lot of gun fire, and more than three hits, and more).

- @@ProperlyPsychotic almost everything, physics, lighting, textures, destruction, the hostage moving around, missing features and bits (dropping from the heli and refined animations)... But that's Ubisoft for you, they had a very bad (and still probably do I suppose, I don't give a shit about their games anymore) habit around 2014 and probably before to make a trailer that very much lied about the actual state of the final product. I mean, most of the time, rearranged assets and enhanced graphics for the sake of the video are fine, but when it comes to making those fake ass "gameplay sequences" that are rehearsed and handcrafted, Ubisoft is king. R6 and The Division are the two worst possible gameplay trailers you could find for that matter.

- That's the game I wanted. Not a Counter strike copy. I will admit that siege is fun but Patriots I believe would have brought something out of players. One reason that game got scraped is bc Tom Clancy died, then they did siege probably didnt know the full vision of Tom Clancy n that game

- I'm still amazed that people are sad that got cancel when all we have to go off of was that abortion of a demo featuring QTEs, a on rail sniper sequence more scripted than COD, and generic 3rd person combat which is also entirely linear. Don't forget that all enemies glow red because that's apparently what people want out of Rainbow Six.

I do believe that Siege was supposed to be like older R6 games, but it was quickly changed during development to something completely else. Which I honestly hate. I remember watching the trailer and saying "This is the next SWAT game!!" But nope. Thankfully we have Ready or Not now.

Man, this game when it came out, it became a part of my life. I made friends who I met in person, had heaps of fun, did well in ranked matches, it was an absolutely amazing experience. I stopped just due to life getting in the way. Speaking to some people about the game today and it’s a shame to hear it went to shit. It was such a good game. I miss those days.
