  • ...a note on the handedness of skeletons: bows are usually held in the non-dominant hand and drawn with the dominant hand so actually 89% of skeletons are left handed rather than 11%.

    • You don't need it for the advancement i think, it probably just gets the advancement faster as instead of breeding 2 horses and 2 donkeys you just breed 1 of each? I'm not sure if it counts towards the advancement however.

  • 2:16 A safe way to dig down is to dig a two-block wide hole while standing in the middle of it, and only digging one row of blocks at a time so when you see lava or a ravine below you, you are still standing on one of the blocks and don't fall down. I always use this to dig down to the stronghold.

    • Fk all of those tips. Just dig straight down, if you fall into lava of big cave or ravine or whatever, just log out of the game and re-log. There is a mechanic called spawn immunity which give you immunity for 3seconds. So you can use this feature to log and relog again and again

  • Fun fact: You don’t need to rename a mob in a bucket to make it stay forever. Simply catching the fish or axolotl in a bucket will make it not despawn once it is released

  • digging down used to be real dangerous when there was an actual lava level, now its only moderately dangerous and not at all if you have full protective gear since youll survive easily both a fall as a good amount of time swimming in lava, biggest danger is dropping in a ravine and immediately getting creepered multiple times

    • @dolimi jotoo I just was trying to count how many flaws were in the logic, or how many things they didnt know. I love videos like this that start with "30 things you may not know" and they cant even explain most of them. Been playing since the days there wasnt a client, or even a game, just a few small servers on their site. 37 blocks or so to choose from. Remember the hype of The jungle or Wither. Hell, I probably have over 20,000 Hours at this point, I still dont know a thing or 2 I will admit, but when someone sits there themselves and put up inaccurate facts or incomplete facts, I just feel obligated to finish it. Also yeah, I dig straight down too, but most the time I end up crying because I hit gravel instead, and then fall into lava

  • Lagging is actually good sometimes. (still really annoying though) Once I was lagging pretty hard, fell down from a pretty darn high cliff, but I was lagging so much I didn't take any damage at all.

  • 8:07 One time I was playing Minecraft Bedrock, and I was trying to rename an axolotl with an anvil. When I put it down, I was disappointed to see it didn't work for some reason, but when I tried to put it back in the bucket, it got struck by lightning! This was 25 blocks underground, under 30 blocks of ocean!

    • “The axolotls are not what they seem” was a hidden message in enchantment table language when this update came out. Perhaps this wasn’t simply a bug, but has something to do with whatever the devs are hiding about axolotls.

  • Fun fact - If you shoot a creeper with a tipped arrow (like an arrow of regeneration) and it blows up, the potion effect will start lingering at that spot. Try it out!

  • 13:10 about heads, i feel like you should get your own head when u get killed by a charged creeper, since the player head is in the game anyways, (and yes your own head, it counts as a player head) Only way for hardcore players to get a player head, would be by killing another player, so u would have to invite them so they can die and leave :)

    • It's doubly true if you're in maxed gear, as you don't even take that much damage form lava or fall damage. And you'll likely have fire resistance and totems.

  • Fun fact : 2b2t players carry a shulker full of cake so when the server is under heavy lag or someone is trying to crash the server it would take you sometimes 5 to 10 mins to eat normal food and so that they don't die from hunger bc of the lag they have a shulker of cake with them :D

  • Interestingly enough, and I haven't seen anyone mention this since the Nether update, netherite ingots have shapeless crafting as well! It was the first shapeless craft I noticed when I couldn't remember the pattern on the wiki, so I made it a sort of yin yang instead.

  • The slabs are explosion resistant because they used to all be stone type, even the wooden ones needed a pickaxe. I guess they just never bothered to change the explosion resistance when they fixed the block type

  • 2:45 digging straight down is still bad. A water bucket cannot save you every time (it usually won't) And even though it's a low chance of falling into lava, it's still a chance nonetheless and should be avoided. He also didn't take into account digging into a really tall cave and falling to your death, or digging straight up and getting suffocated. Still never dig straight down or up, no matter how safe you think you are. And even if you do end up safe, you cannot easily get up or down the hole you just dug. If you need to dig straight down, mine out 1x2 blocks and stand in the middle of those 2 blocks.

    • the problem isn't that its SUPER dangerous ALL the time, its just the fact that if you AREN'T going to PREPARE for it, you shouldn't do it, so don't dig straight down, because chances are, your not gonna always be prepared for what comes after. also, that lava bit, is only useful if the lava is one block deep... any deeper, and well your in more trouble. caves however are safe as long as you got something to break fall or feather fall/slow fall on boots or potions. but yeah, still, don't dig down, because it STILL can screw you over.

  • When it comes to tip #9 when using slabs, you can also place the slab as a bottom slab which prevents all mob spawns, it just makes placing items like crafting tables and such more annoying because they “float”
