@@windigo1592 Because he knows that people who abuse Ubers usually don't actually know how to play the game and almost never run entry hazards or status moves. One Toxic would have been enough to kill that Smeargle, but the other guy was only relying on brute force instead of playing smart. But because the Smeargle used Substitute and Spore to stall, he could build up enough buffs with Moody and Shell Smash to make Power Trip deadly.

I mean, temp does lose most of his battles. He even said so himself in another video to a fan he played against online. People beat him with legendaries all the time.

Oddly gives me flashbacks to that one time when sone random trainer challenged me and I feckn died cause I was completely unprepared and it kept me asleep xD good ol pokemon days
Not only did he lose, he was styled on. The Smeargle would have won in half of the turns if it didn’t constantly use spore on already asleep Pokémon.

The other temp could've possibly beaten them with one of their teams! He could have even picked one that temp had made that specified that beats the GETTO(may have mispronounced it)
I completely mispronounced it- it was called BEEG. The team was specifically: Luciaro with belly drum and copy cat, azumanili, and vanillute with their calculations it could even beat a BEEG. With the video I'm referencing they also have use this same technique previously with Snorlax and mimikyu
I think the people that throw out those challenges are just angry that their firm belief of "legendary pokemon are the strongest and should therefore win" is largely proven wrong by our mans

Hell, I spent the entire video treating it like the imposter Temp was an anime protagonist team trying to break into the villain's main base way too early in the series, so they get demolished trying. That first battle shows that snore is a pretty good move to have just in case substitute strats come into play, cause it both ignores substitute and you can rest yourself to use it if the opponent doesn't do it
The best part about the video is the fact that even if you lost there's literally nothing he can do if you just say no to giving him your channel :P

Having immaturity and getting used to the wrong formula is more common than we think, and some people aren't mature enough to realize that. Some people are dumb enough to not even know that whatever they're doing is wrong and heck, there are ones that know what they're doing is wrong and yet keep on going with what they do cause they don't consider other people's lives as significant as theirs. (that's just not calming down your ego, which is really immature in my opinion) I agree with the "take on the world stance" that we take, to be fair that's 1/4 of your life's experience/s if you're to die at 60. You know only so much with one-forth though, you're just 25% there. After watching every Pikasprey's Smeargle challenge and getting used to how pathetic Smeargles are in a normal playthrough, it's kinda mindblowing to see a Smeargle single-handedly wipe the floor with four Arceus lollll
Smeargle is just one of those Pokémon that works _way_ better in competitive than a playthrough.

At the end of it all, what does it actually mean to wear the mantle of temp6t? It is pure expression; a smeargle putting tail to canvas. It is not to rely upon the obvious power of legendaries, but to bring out the potential of the common pokemon that others refuse to see. A temp6t with 4 Arceus, really? This imposter was never worthy of the mantle.

i must say, while the strat is good it can be a bit too good to be true, sometimes i fight people that copy temp strats but fail: spore doesnt effect grass types, any pokemon with a chesto berry or with an ability that prevents sleep. also magic bounce can reflect that so be aware. a lot of people copy the pokemon, but not the strategy.
If arceus have safeguard its fucked, and too obsessed with sweep boost is bad move, better chip in some damage before die

I was checking to see if anyone was talking about this. I'm not up on my big poke strats , but it seemed strange to me that he just left the sleeping pokemon in there and let them die... I mean faint.
No sleep clause. Temp would just Spore the switch in and there'd be 2 sleeping Arceus.
And I assume didn't have a normal type damage move for Dynamax Max Strike to reduce speed BEFORE the set-up stacked up.
The lack of sleep clause woulda made it worse, though he could have ESpeed, switch when substitute goes in, then ESpeed

I really feel like unaware is one of the best abilities added to the game. It's not that its super op or anything, just that it forces players to think of strategies beyond "my numbers are bigger than yours"
