Just saw Nardi. He was stunned more than anyone when he defeated the world #1. When he won he covered his face as it was so unbelievable. More like Shocked❤ He seemed very humble like his countryman Sinner. He did not shout and scream like Ben Shelton.

Jannik Sinner, 22 years old, calling Nardi, a 20-year-old, a "kid" is about as pretentious as you can be regarding age as some measure of maturity and competency.
I was so impressed with how Nardi struck the ball, I am shocked he isn't solidly in the Top 10. In some ways, he reminds me of a young Federer but with a two handed backhand. If he can continue to play with confidence, he can really have some great results. And he conducts himself so well on the court. Very refreshing against some players who are constantly pumping fists or grunting unnecessarily. Oh, and I'm not sure he broke a sweat during his match LOL
He was slowed down by being a bit of a Mama's boy, not wanting to leave his hometown and travelling around. He had sticked to his teenage years' small town coach till the Italian Tennis Federation finally stepped in and assigned him another one. He has no mental coach or anything. I thought he had money problems, but his father is a notary public in central Italy, one of the most profitable professions in Italy.
The number of players I see people say he should be in the top ten, I am surprised there aren't 20 players in the top ten 😮😮😮😂😂😂
Right now, the Joker is only concerned about major titles, and uses these smaller tournaments as warm ups, like practise. We won't know where his game is at, until the other 3 majors are done in 2024, I'll bet he wins at least 1 of them, so don't count him out just yet.

Like a lot of greats in their sports, nobody likes to lose no matter at what point of your career you are it's that attitude and mental that separates good players from great players i guess everybody is different and deal with it differently.
