@broderic.
In regards to "does disc golf have any architects?" You have to mention Dave McCormick, owner of Gateway. He's designed and installed 100+ courses all throughout the midwest including Eagle's Crossing. He's a true legend of the sport.
Every farm needs a disc golf course, they're always the best!
I can't wait to have one on my property
Casey is freakin shredding!!!! 1st place -7. Awesome brother keep it up!!!!
It's been about 4 years since Casey was some kid on Simon's covid vlogs, chucking minis around parking lots and playing his home course. Keep it up Casey :-)
Looks great when finished you'd have to do a video of you guys playing it 😀
That's the plan!
Terrible idea
Finally someone is placing a course there ! Sweetness
I live in Europe. This course alone makes me want to travel to the US and play some discgolf!
Pretty awesome all around. You and Simon have a good chemistry to do a course together. Two great disc golf minds. If I ever get back to the East Coast to play this will be on my bucket list.
Love Louisa lake and I can't wait to see what Simon does with a entire farm at his disposal
Excellent course design by Massachusetts best tour pro disc golf duo!☺Once again, it's Simon & White doin' things right!,.....a soon to be registered trademark in disc golf course design!
Beautiful property. Will be a Great course Simon and Casey insightfulness will make it challenging for any level im sure
This is going to be a fun little project to follow! Happy for Simon and you Casey to have this opportunity.
East Brookefield??? Lfg!!!! Good shit boys!!! Keep MA Disc #1!!!!
I'm less than an hour from East Brookfield, absolutely cannot wait for this to open up and have a new course designed by some of my favorite pros to play with the boys on the weekends!
That’s what it’s all about 🤝🏼
This looks sick as hell. This is what I want to do with my life is design courses. I live up in Maine and hope to eventually design one for myself.
I'm from Gorham, where do play in Maine?
@@johnreuter4916 I like Pineland and Pleasant Hill a bunch, Ackers Acres and Sabattus are also great
This is one of the best videos I've seen on course design. Throwing shots to get a feel of a realistic layout is so smart.
This course and Maple Hill for a Worlds bid ?!?!
I said the same about Maple Hill and Meadowbrook. Meadowbrook would have to add some extended length championship holes. But this course could be designed with Worlds in mind. The problem with Maple Hill is not enough on site parking. But maybe something could be worked out with Marshall Street in exchange for a prime concessions locations. I don’t know if that makes economics sense or not. And if there can be enough parking at Pyraminds to make it worth while. I think a collaboration between all the courses would be great for Disc Golf.
Let’s go Casey! -7 at the champions cup course is insane!
Dont forget to keep your leftys in mind when course designing. A right handed shank is just a lefty throw.
A lifetime goal. Play this course... big trip from Australia.
I like your solo design for whatever hole that is, Casey. I like the multiple options off the tee pad minus the mando. Congrats on the design guys! Natural OB (jail) is always better than the other option, imo. You guys for drop zones or not? Good luck this year. Got you for a top 5 finish at Northwood next week Mr White. You killed that course last year.
Hauck courses are elite and it’s so exciting to see todays players expanding on his advice
I prefer Houck courses.
The boston in the owner is priceless. Love it.
All backhand tee shots? Course looking pretty slick though!
This video makes me wanna go do a course design I helped build courses b4 but not designed them I think it be fun
18:21 Cale Leiviska comes to mind
That property is beautiful. Going to be a great course!!
Love the bruins hat. You guys rock! You should bring a super tall fan to come throw the course!!! As it stands I am super tall. And I’d be available to throw with you guys.
And yet again another fun watch, thanks for the content!
This is incredible! Super stoked for you guys!
Looks so promising 😎 Saddly I have few thousand miles, few countries and that small ocean (Atlantic) between me and that place 😅
Cool course!!
It's a lot of fun planning out a new course! Great video. Keep making them of the progress. It's great to watch it evolve.
I agree with Simon. Its easy to design a course. But doing the design of one that fits the area, has the right difficulty etc, that is not as easy. It takes some tinkering for sure.
this whole thing is massive and cool, good stuff fellas!!
This is exciting!
I'm a simple man, i see a Casey White upload and I instantly click watch. Cheers Casey 😊
Good stuff Casey, love to see it. Keep up the good work
Love all the conversations and fly on the wall design discussions you included. really great. excited to play the course :)
Man, this is my #1 bucket list item, to build a disc golf course like this
That tree looks like Abbot and Costello from the movie ‘Arrival’.
This is going to be awesome
Great playing lately Casey keep it up
2hrs from home I can’t wait to play! Great looking property!
I would love to play that course when it is finished!! Looks amazing!
Looking at the overhead map of it, that area looks awesome! Can't wait to see it finished!
Fun experience for you guys!
Look forward to updates
sick i cant wait!
Awesome! Take the wood and use it as ob markers and to protect water edges etc.😊
looks great for red pads.
It has always been a dream of mine to design a course. GREAT property to do it on.
As a landscaper/disc golf course designer first and player secondly it would be quite nice if the top pros could just like play in the tournaments us regular humans don't have a chance at..
Letttssss GOOOOOO !!!!
Get yourself a trashcan lid and paint it like a bright color target. Lay it on the ground where you think the basket should be and then stand where you think the tea should be and do some drone flyover pics to see what it looks like. You can print those pics out, or use your computer and draw out the fairways in different angles.
Fantastic! We have a good number of courses in central Mass.. but for sure a few more are needed, especially challenges for intermediates such as the new West Boylston course. Sure it's not pro level, but challenges your every day average player. I can't wait to check it out, thanks guys!
I have little doubt you and Simon are designing a great course. Knowing what you want is half the battle. You’ve both designed courses before. You both have good minds, passion for the best disc golf, and know how to work it out and change for the better.
Looking awesome. I’m planning a course going on a huge property in Northern California. You will have to stop by on your way to Zephyr next season. Just starting to walk the property now. 150 acres. It’s beautiful! Kinda scary taking it on.
Do you know if Simon is still doing anything with the Upton property?
You guys should help out with the new Gardner course
Casey. Did you run camera for the tv show COPS a few years back? Holy....
My two pookie bears designed an awesome course
14:00 what was that plinth originally built for? It looks like a pile of rocks that have then had some concrete steps added randomly to it. Intrigue!
yo, if you had a huge 63 at the Rock Scape on 18 that would be epic!!
Man that's awesome wanna help design mine haha
Nice! Dont forget to show us the final result! :)
My Leafs vs your Bruins. Gonna be a great series and my Leafs have a few scores to settle with your Bruins haha.
Man, you guys are so lucky. You get to develop your own course. I suspect though that when it is finished and playable, you will both say it is a course in progress. I don’t have to remind you to put a lot of thought into the tees, so I won’t. Cheers from🇨🇦
Is this in Alaska? hahahaha Edit: so awesome seeing you two designing a course - congrats!
OMG when is it going to be ready? I'll be at a tournament at Oakholm in June. Coming down from Quebec city.
Probably late June!
@@caseywhite4 thanks for the info. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞
Remember to design in space for spectators 😉
What's the acreage?
You guys need a drone to help map in real time.
21:23 lil uzi. pink tape mentioned 😂
im pro mando (on that hole)
If you guys need help cleaning up the course I would be willing to help out.
First comment comes from bremen/germany guys! 🤪😂😂
I want to be the person that cleans up the property for people designing courses....only thing is I don't have the equipment. I need to get my shit together.
Beautiful property. Trails? Armored greens? Armored and defined LZs? Terracing? Stonework? Wood chip management plan/ fairway protection/shaping? Tee area armoring, seating and landscape design? Introduction of ground covers or other plantings? Erosion control on slopes? Any plans? Welcome node with kiosk, practice area? Parking? Sounds like you're a LONG ways off from putting any baskets in the ground... What did you learn in the Houck Conference? Love you guys, but this just looks like "Tees & Sleeves" backyard design...
It sounds like you are moving to permanent. Please put temporary baskets in with temporary tee pads and have people play through it. Do this for months and get feedback.
Nah full send permeant banger course no feedback needed
Range finder?
Nice, only 10 mins from me. 🔥 2:19
When I win the lottery and buy a 200 acre lot, I'm going to get you two to design it for me.
I feel confident that my crew and I could provide you with a much better landscaped course than these top PLAYERS..
Clean up isle my pants!
Figuring out which trees to cut and which to be tortured must be the hardest part of laying out a course.
😂😂
Don't make it a mando, just plant some trees! Make it so challenging it acts as a mando
put up some nets so you dont need mandos
We talked about that!
Love the enthusiasm of “designing a course”. How much building are y’all involved with? Please don’t ever turn out in the future like some of the older pros, going around charging $50k for a design fee and not even trimming a tree or installing at sign.
Third from Savonlinna, Finland!
Congrats on your first course design. I can't wait to see it completed. I only designed ONE course in the mid-90s, but it is still ranked as the #3 course in California by UDisc and Disc Golf Scene. (Browns 'N Bows) I learned from a couple legends: Charlie Callahan and Leonard Muise.
What is the point of having a water carry? If almost everybody can throw it there. It’s not a carry👍
The point is to have everybody be able to at least challenge the water 🤝🏼
Mcbeth needed a mutli millionaire MLB player investor to build his courses. Thankfully, this couple donated their land. Just buying property this size anywhere is so absurd price wise. Without land donation, it's damn near impossible.
I am pretty sure noobs probably throw it across that tiny little puddle
That’s the point 🤝🏼
WOW, nothing but RIGHTY holes. I'm sure yall will do great on your course. With no challenges. Not a single forehand. 👎.
You've come a long way but may I suggest losing the finger snap? It's a little cringy 😬
Wishbone tree um lol yeah looks like something eles maybe a man that’s called a tri pod
