Who would win should never be decided by the number of comic sales.... And only because many heroes are inspired by Superman doesn't mean he would beat all of them....that's such a weird logic. That's like saying the first car that was ever build is better than all the modern ones.

Yes true, the topic is not who would win but who should win. Which is a different topic, if the son becomes more successful than the Father he is still the son. The truth is this is what drives the winners of the battle in real scenarios, Batman cannot defeat Superman logically, he is a god literally but the plot requires batman to win because he create a sense of ownership in the minds of readers or viewers through high realistic probability and relatability better than Superman, that's why people want to see batman win against superman. Yes if they want they can show Thor or Hulk to be more powerful than Superman, but that don't change the fact that he inspired the entire genre and that's why he should win, not he would win

Superman can beat Batman even he had prep time Batman have plot armor even Superman can have plot armor Batman can’t really win against Superman without exploiting his weaknesses

Yes exactly my point logically there is no way for a man to stand up to basically a god, super hearing + super-speed alone can nullify most of his plans, I say this as a batman fan
