I think after his dad died he almost didn't recover got hooked on drugs plus depression anxieties but after starting ON SNL he got better I think SNL helped him get out of bad slump changed him helped him I'm liking him more and more lately

Happy comedians are usually not as funny. It’s unfortunate but generally true. But honestly if he can’t be happy with enormous success AFTER SNL ( because it’s a rough job mentally) then he’s really chemically imbalanced and drugs are gonna be necessary with good living. Weed should be helpful. And staying busy. And bangin hot celebs.

In his interview with Charla the god, Pete isn't so sure about how his fellow cast members feel about him, since he's being made the but of some of the jokes.
I remember, long ago, receiving a "wish you were with us" card from my 8th grade class teacher after a trip I skipped, I knew it was all fake, but as I heard my classmates's snarky remarks and giggles behind my back while I was given the card in front of everyone, I truly understood what hypocrisy was. I suppose it's a lesson best learnt while you're young.

THere's not a member of the SNL cast I don't like, but Pete's flaws and self-deprocating honesty make him one of my favourites.
Love him on Weekend Update. He's got a really great flow to the way he delivers his material and the interaction makes it stronger than stand-up.

I love Pete Davidson as a performer, every joke he tells feels so natural, almost as if he was talking directly to you. This is why I’m a bit upset at Saturday Night Live, I’m very happy they’ve employed Davidson and assisted him in his rise to fame, but he’s so underused. That bit where he says Kate McKinnon doesn’t talk to him feel genuine. I think he feels like an outsider even next to Colin. I’m very glad he’s gotten close to people like John Mulaney who kind of know what it’s like to be the “side-show” to the rest of the cast. Pete isn’t the only underused member of the newer cast but his lack of air time definitely shines through. He’s a brilliant writer and I hope to see him in more bits or perhaps even leaving the show to pursue greater things (as he already has been, starring in movies, his Netflix comedy special, etc.) He’s a brilliant off-the-cuff hilarious comedian and I think with time he’ll become one of the greats. I just think Pete should be given a slot on every weekend update because let’s face it, he’s definitely the most entertaining part of that and perhaps the most entertaining part of current SNL as a whole.
