Here is the simplest argument I can make for why MJ is still greater than Jordan.
Lebron still has the opportunity to pass Jordan, it's just that at present day, MJ is still greater.
I realize that there's a group of people that won't have anything significant to contribute so they'll default to screaming "Hater" But, before you do that, just realize I've made a lot of pro Lebron videos on the channel Like here: kzhead.info/sun/qpamiZGxn6WkeKM/bejne.html Here kzhead.info/sun/ZZSaabGxjYWqp4k/bejne.html And here kzhead.info/sun/i52ul65oq4qhgok/bejne.html So there is no hate here, and I've said more than a few times Lebron still has a chance to pass MJ. Leave the hater comments at home.
Dont worry about em Dom, your argument is pretty much fool proof. You were being very objective. Lebron fans will be Lebron fans and try to compare MJs first round exit vs Birds Celtics while dropping 49 and then 63, to Lebron choking against an underdog in the Finals
lebron is better than jordan.
Tyler Milliken Nah.
Dom2k It's not worth your time just keep making good videos😃
Dom2k very solid video, usually don't like no videos except music but you killed this shit. And I'm a basketball fan but you made it really easy for someone who don't know their shooting percentages and field goal and all that.
a reason why MJ didnt beat a 70 win team, cause they were the 70 win team
I'm no Jordan fan, but "Cutie Creampie" that's the stupidest statement I ever heard. A 70 win season, yes, only one, is incredible. To say it's "only one" is like saying an MVP doesn't count because he only got "one"
Cutie Creampie the warriors were only a 70 win team for 1 year, so by your logic that season was irrelevant.
but they didnt win, even pippen on the jail blazers had a stacked team and couldnt win
🏆
Karun Sagar When did they made the ECF without him?
Non basketball fans- did mike come back 3-1 Real basketball fans- mike never went down 3-1
This guy gets it^^^
He had 3 straight first round loses. Also Lebron played one of the best teams in NBA history, i don't think Lebron is the GOAT, but Mike is 100% not the GOAT. He's good but not great.
alan olivas Jordan was good, not great? Wow. That’s one of the most ridiculous things I’ve ever read in my life.
@@DAJUICEMANE420Ok, i may have went a little too far, but still people make him out to be a god. I'm just saying there's people that are better than him and that he isn't as good as people think.

Damn Jason Terry was busting Lebron’s ass in the finals at the age of 33 lol
Can you imagine Michael Jordan being outplayed by a guy like Jason Terry in the finals? Jordan would have destroyed Terry...
Can you imagine michael jordan doing one of the greatest posters in NBA history on him either?

@@nichabus8550 greatest poster ? Anybody could have dunked on him considering the play, it was 3 vs 1, it's actually quite brave from Terry to try to defend on James on this action since he has almost on chance, most of the players would just go out of the way.

Simply because he was only being a rational person and probably the argument here as who exactly the goat is a no brainier kids will just comprehend this that's all that matters and I can simply put this way as to why Jordan was the goat simply because their era was a man's basketball and big men was the real deal however mj just tomp them those big men to the canvass Kareem Abdul Jabbar Shaq the twin towers Hakeem and Ralph Sampson Patrick Ewing the list goes on and on

I’m 34 years old, I watched every bulls game on wgn when I was young even tho I lived in Pennsylvania, we got the channel. My dad used to say “take it in, you’ll never see another player anywhere close to mj. When I watch Lebron, I don’t get that “wow feeling.” Lebron is great but Jordan was mesmerizing. If the 1996 Bulls played the 2011 Mavs “And the biggest question for MJ tonight, can he stop Jason Terry” Michael: “It became personal with me.” *proceeds to drop 50*
Yep
and would clamp terry to 8 points
Another argument is that Stockton and Malone have no rings because the 2 times they went to the finals, they faced MJ. John Stockton: all-time leader in assists and steals! Karl Malone: 2nd all-time scoring leader, 7th all-time rebounder! Together they may be the best duo of all time. Heck they are almost as good as Jason Terry!
nefelovamon exactly. If it wasn’t for Jordan and the bulls, the jazz probably would have had one or two rings in the 90’s.
Tell that to dumb shanon, who actually said to skip "If its so easy to get into the HOF, how many hofers did the 90's utah jazz had?"
I think you're forgetting that Pipen and Rodman were on the team too. It wasn't just MJ. I agree that MJ is the GOAT, but that might not be the best comparison Edit: Time has shown though that you need at least another Star player on your team to win a championship, especially in a decade as great as MJ's. Just like Lebron against the Spurs and MJ againsts the Jazz.

@@morganreid6681 Lebron is just ugly ///
I lost it when the Super Mario sound effects started when Terry blew by him. Dying over here lol.
🤣🤣🤣 So so true. LeBron trotting slowly and putting his head down in defeat as the Mario theme ended was great editing. I had to play that section over and over.

Some Guy That's the stain that simply won't go away. It's the exact moment when I realized that Bron didn't have the unquantifiable element that pumps through MJ's veins.
I was laughing too loud
Some Guy lol
Some Guy man Terry played a hall of famer on LeBron James let Terry hold mj it's a quick 70 points
he cant stop anyone that has a high level of talent on the basketball court, hes a bad defender, a ball hog, and barely can make a free throw. lebron go talk to shaq about free throws ahahahahah
I just need to put this out there. Just because youre more all around and 3 inches taller and almost 50 pounds heavier doesnt mean you’re a better basketball player, it just means you’re a more all around player. Do you ever see people saying ben simmons is a better basketball player than stephen curry? No.
I was just watching an episode of "The Last dance" about the bulls 92 season, and there was an interesting part, that before the finale people were talking, if MJ can do his best against Drexler, and MJ absolutely destroyed him, and said in an interview, that the comparison itself , that there are people who doubt if he can be stopped by that guy is an offence to MJ. That's a GOAT mentality right there. The absolute confidence and will to destroy your opponent with no mercy.
Bron Fans: Did MJ come back from 3-1 Me: *Did he ever go down 3-1*

Joe Schmo I’m not a LeBron fan I’m a PHX fan so I got no bias towards Bron but jason Terry didn’t outplay him lmao if you put Bron on the mavsit would be a sweep
DatBoiDylan maybe play for play Terry didn’t outplay him but he still had a bigger role in the fourth quarter of those games because Bron kept running away from the ball in the fourth. Magic literally said before one of the crucial games “can he stop Jason Terry” so yes. He outplayed him to me. I’m gonna petty because it’s Lebron and Jason f’n Terry. An MVP and a role player.

The match up don't dont matter if i can't touch when u drive in the hole or i cant hand check u. Now a player like Rondo hit threes during finals. Why? The rules in the bubble are different from the regular season games from last year

You're right, there's one jordan and one james
Exactly. 1 mj. And 1 Kobe Bryant. Top 2 greatest all around players ever was up until now. All around. All around. All around. Think about that word all around. After those 2 then there's everybody else from 3rd to 100th. I do think lebron is in top 5. And bill Russell and wilt Chamberlain fill in rest perhaps. There's few other players that are up there and you can fill in rest where you may. But Jordan is THE GOAT. Jordan just bought a whole other level to the shit. I got excited and fired up watching Jordan. Wish I could say same about lebron. Put lebron in mjs time, and lebron just another name on a roster compared to mj.
@Charles Fowler that's right. There has only been and will only ever be 1 Michael Jordan. Did they compare Michael Jordan to Lebron? Or Kobe to lebron??? They didn't say Michael Jordan is gonna be the next lebron james. Or Kobe Bryant the next lebron James. No they said lebron James is gonna be the next Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant. And james plays in a much much much softer NBA. In my honest opinion, under jordan, dr j, Larry bird, Isiah Thomas, and all the other greats of this time, when basketball was tough and mean lebron would've been eaten alive in my honest opinion for real for real. He wouldn't have been able to take that punishment in the paint like they did. Just saying fellas
The only thing better about Lebron's game over MJ's game is the hi-def video.
You forgot Jeter.. 😁
But...... Jordan has film in IMAX.

they don't forget it... they ignore it,...that's because it doesn't help their case... much like pippen came in 1987, but the bulls didn't win a title til 1991, and pippen only averaged around 7.9pts a game vs the pistons that year in the conference finals...Jordan had no other allstar on the 1991 finals team... yet, he didn't win til pippen came,... wow I say

The best argument you’ve shown in this video is showing MJ’s clips where he’s scoring against a packed lane. Because no one wanted to shoot 3’s back then, spacing was poor and it was much more difficult to get to the rim. Hence why LeBron’s FG is higher.
Lebron is also faster, stronger, bigger than Jordan... I don't think that's the only reason why his FG is higher
Bigger and stronger? Yes. But faster? Nope. MJ was faster. He was also far more agile than LeBron.

Thas should tell you enough. Add to that the fact that once MJ reached the top of the hill, he never came down. And the impact he had was unmatched. Also, there were never 4th quarter jokes about MJ, or other jokes in general. The guy was the shit.
elwingy EEEEEEEEEEEXAAAAAAACLLLLLYYYY
And I was arguing earlier today about this .. if you take away the stats with the two & compare skillset & mindset ON the court .. notice how ALL Legends ALWAYS choose Jordan because how competetive he was and people who guarded jordan & kobe & lebron .. people NEVER choose Lebron .. you'd always hear kobe was harder to defend than lebron or Jordan was harder to defend because their killer instinct the "I WILL NOT LOSE" mindset .. Their smack talk & the fact of how hard it was to stop Jordan & Kobe the frustration that builds on defenders mind because their scoring couldnt be stopped let alone their defense was great! Look at Open Court best trash talkers ... Jordan ONCE began to count backwards from 40 to his opponent .. each time he scored, he'd keep counting backwards.. his opponent THEN realized that if Jordan counts to 0 then that mean he has 40 fucking points.. TRASH TALK! That YOU CANT GUARD me attitude.. Jordan would TELL his opponent his move LITERALLY before he does it & he'd make the fucking shot .. See people if you take away stats ... ALL There is left if skill & mindset ! All these things count .. This year Lebron posted Ben Simmons on his Instagram .. Back in the days, Jordan wouldnt be friendly with that dude, he'd trash talk him & bully him & score on him... You may not see what i mean by saying that but its just the attitude that will motivate you and make you remember Jordan! Lebron Is Top 10 greatest of all time BUT ... Jordan #1
MrJamal657 exactly
Fuck dude... that's a pretty fucking compelling argument. Add to that the fact that MJ's era was a way more physical era whereas LeBron's era started using soccer flops that's inspired by Italy's and Argentina's national soccer teams which made me stop watching NBA. It's also the same reason why I don't watch soccer at all. Maybe I'm just old school but to me flopping to get a free throw or a free kick is cheating and a pussy move. But that's just a personal preference. I stick to boxing and MMA now. NBA was the only team sport I loved as a teenager until flops and super sensitive foul calling started becoming the norm. Now I prefer one on one combat sports where you can't blame your teammates for losses.

Thing is Jordan probably would’ve had more accomplishment if he hadn’t retired for two years
If he hadn't retired, he would've had 8 championships in a row.
Its not even two years though, its more than that. On his first retirement, he missed the 93-94 Season, and most of the 94-95 season. On his 2nd retirement, he missed the 98-99, 99-00 and 00-01 seasons. So in reality, you're looking at about 4 1/2 seasons of production and accolades that Jordan passed up on.
There was also the 85-86 season where he missed all but 18 games due to injury.
The man could of won 8-11 championships. 43 minutes, 43 points, 18-of-30 from the field, 7-of-8 from the charity stripe, 10 rebounds, three assists, four steals, one block. Michael Jordan (Washington Wizards) on Feb. 21, 2003
And still had the greatest scoring performance in playoff history, despite the fact that he was just returning from a broken ankle. Jordan was absurd, man

@ScepticalCynic MJ has more accomplishment than Russell count the bigtime resume.
@Tim Snortin' awards? how many? haha
@ScepticalCynic like Wilt Chamberlain, Bill Russell played in a different era with short white people. In today's game or when Jordan played they would both not get near the numbers they got
@ScepticalCynic he put all scoring descision on Wilt because he was much better than the people he played against. The average height for a center was 6'8 when he played and he was over 7 ft. And the same thing goes for track. Back then there were not near as much athletes then there are now.
Point taken. Both of these players are awesome, but Jordan was Special. He's #1 in my book.

You guys should be 4 time NBA champions when the prime BIG 3 of Heat back then but yeah.. Dirk and his crew shows up, Spurs best defense and old guys back then is still consistent that they won against the Heat. I'm highschool back then, i really expect that Heat would go 4-peat.
LeBron was lucky to win ANY titles. He easily could have lost the ones that he won and they really didn't even deserve to win against the Spurs or the Warriors.

My Goat wouldn't get a ball stolen by Nick Anderson and lose in the semi-finals in his prime in 1995, regardless of him coming back in March, because Lebron adjusted very fine with a new young guys in a trade 😏
Very informative this is a good video keep it up bro
4 year old video and yet this my favorite KZhead debate
I can't stand Michael Jordan. I've been a Spurs fan for my whole life. Why do I hate him so much? He was the best ever. He killed the Spurs repeatedly (By himself). As for LeBron..... We destroy that chick all the time. LOL
This Laker fan sees your logic. I'll even gladly grant you five more LeBarressments if only to go some way to make up for the lingering pain Shaq&Kobe inflicted on our southwestern adversaries ;-).
Agree as a Spurs fan myself I was never afraid for my Spurs when we faced Lebron. There was something about coach Pop that didnt allow Lebron to play great against us. The one game where I was terrified of Lebron was game 7 of 2013. Not saying they are better than Lebron on the all time great list but Kobe, Dirk and KD gave me nightmares as a Spurs fan because they always took it to the next level against us. Kobe on 2001, 2002 and 2008 made me angry. Dirk 2006 and every single time we faced him specially when we are on the same division on his prime. KD 2012 and 2016 when Thunder and the Spurs were fighting for the number 1 spot of the West.
😭😭😭😭
Spurs went 2-1 vs LeBron in the finals. Really wasn't all the time or a blowout.
+1
damn Jason Terry put it on him. I didnt watch that series but now i see why people keep bringing it up.
you missed out.. lebron was shook in the finals that year.
Didn't even mention Jordan being the most clutch player of all time and his game winning shots, specially in the finals.
LeBron can destroy you in a single game, Kobe can go off 81 and destroy your team, MJ WILL DESTROY YOUR ERA
Lebron can guard all 5 positions but he can't guard Jason Terry. LOL.
Jason Terry is a person and not a position. So I guess it makes sense
Rostislav Fateev Jason terry is a person that plays in the NBA. The fuck? How you go from 'locking down rose' to not locking down Jason terry? Both of which were PG's except Jason wasn't a starter :/
Or the reigning MvP either.......
I was at the game in miami when he was guarding rose. Crying up and down both ends of the court. And he was the primary defender, and they were triple teaming him in the paint.... And the bulls were down by 18 or something crazy. We left. And rose brought it back to a 2 pt game before we got to the car. Seeing lebrons crying in person, all the way up and down the court, should change opinion of him.
Dude, that's a fucking joke Jesus

There was a 33-game stretch in the late 80s where Michael Jordan played the same kind of roles as Lebron James in his offense. He was asked to be a true point guard and facilitate the offense. In that stretch he got 18 triple doubles. For the season he was pretty close to getting a triple double. And in that stretch of games Michael Jordan put up well over 30 points a game while getting over 10 rebounds and assists a game. If Michael Jordan had been asked to do the things that LeBron does and Westbrook does, he would have been the first player since Oscar Robertson to get a triple-double for a season. And for a pure volume shooter he is the greatest field goal percentage guy of all time. Who shoots the majority of their shots from 10 to 25 feet out and makes half of them? There's only one other point guard that shot that many and made that many
The late 80’s. Haha! There was like 20 good players in the league and they were all on the same team.

The point I’m making is that no matter if Jordan lost he knew how to handle himself and won against teams who were not easy to beat is why he is still 6-0 in the finals and only had one all star playing with him all of his career. Had won with a team who was garbage at the beginning and had worked his way up to win championships. He has won in less less time in his full time 11 seasons with Chicago in less time. Offensive force Dominant Defender Has many nba records Work ethic Accolades Unguardable jumpshot Back to back championships Clutch Killer instinct Good fundamentals in basketball Competitive player when he needs to be the most especially in the finals= thanos Lebron is a good versatile player but it doesn’t make him the better player, he has flaws to the game. I had to get outta the Lebron bandwagon last year till I did my research. There’s a reason why the ratings for the nba finals were high in the 90s because they wanna see MJ play, the man doesn’t even have social media and yet we still talk about him, there’s a reason why his shoes keep selling. It’s crazy how he retired and won another 3 peat which is on a another level. This is why he is the goat.
I went and rewatch sum of Michael Jordan’s games he’s was insane at just scoring
What people wont tell is lebron is a more efficient scorer than jordan, mj just attempted way more shots than lebron that's why.

I was in high school when jordan won his second three-peat. I witnessed both MJ and Bron in their primes. I was not a jordan fan. I was a bron fan. The difference between watching both is this.. I would root AGAINST Jordan, knowing that he will always find a way to win and will end up winning....I would root FOR Lebron to win, knowing he might not pull it off, and that has nothing to do with teammates, it is 100% killer instinct..watching them both in their primes, its night and day.
Lebron James averaged 17 point per game against the Mavericks in 2011 In his entire playoff career of 179 games, Michael Jordan has only TWO games with 17 or less points, the other was 15 points. 2011 is something we never saw from Jordan in the playoffs. He had 13 seasons in Chicago, never missed the playoffs, 6 ended in rings and in 6 of the other 7, he lost to the eventual conference champion and NBA finalist, 3 times he lost to the eventual champion. The only time that didn't happen was his rookie season.
This video is nothing but pure straight up facts!!!

For me once the guy you checking gets Finals MVP on you the debate has to be over. I can't even fathom MJ letting someone just ball on him in the championships. Both great players but only one is a cold blooded killer. My two cents.
The way he took Drexler being compared 2 him ........PERSONAL
Excellent analysis. Loved it.
Loved this vid bro and thanks for this..i agree with everything you said EXCEPT one: Lebron beat the GREATEST TEAM EVER...yes, GSW broke the 95-96 Bulls records by 1 win but technically they are not the greatest team ever: why? BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T WIN THE CHIP AND IRONICALLY THEY BLEW A 3-1 LEAD..The 95-96 Bulls is the greatest team ever not GSW..
So the bulls double three-peat does matter because GSW got 1 more win in one season that them? How many rings/three-peats GSW got? Jordan’s bulls *were* the GSW, so how could they have beat a GSW?
Jordan is in a league of his own
Really all that needs to be said

No he actually isn't he's in the same conversation with Jabbar Russell an Chamberlain an he can be anywhere from 4 to 2. But Jabbar is the GOAT he has 6 mvps 6 rings an the most points 38,387. Wilt is the only player to lead the league in pts rebs an asts all at some point in his career. Russell has 11 championships cmon now, an playing in the 60s doesn't matter you're equipped to the era you're in. It's not Wilt or Russell's fault they were a huge step ahead of everyone else. Can we also take into consideration that blocks an steals were not a stat an there's games where Wilt Chamberlain had as many as 25 blocks. In March 1967 he had 53 points 32 rebounds an 24 blocks. The NBA didn't include blocks unfortunately but for a career it's safe to say Wilt an Russell would average a triple double. Wilt also played 2 straight seasons without sitting on the damn bench, the man played the whole game for more than 1 season. When Wilt was 45 years old the Cleveland Cavaliers offered him a contract smh it's honestly sad that when talking about top 5 greats of even Goats Jordan is just placed on top like it's just some giving when it's not the man is probably 3rd on the all time great list it's hard for any man that's a professional athlete to have outplayed or done more than Wilt. Kareem exceeds Jordan damn near all the categories an Russell has 5 more championships than him while being the number 1 option on his team offensively an defensively. The mount Rushmore of the NBA is Kareem Wilt Jordan an Russell period no debates. As for LeBron James he's not even the greatest SF ever that's Larry Bird. Bird career averages are 24 PPG 10 RPG 6 APG 2 SPG an Bird wasn't scared of the big moment like LeBron. LeBron will pass the damn ball to dudes like Lonzo Ball an Mario Chalmers all 4th quarter whereas Bird Jordan Magic an Kobe lived for those moments an in most times delivered. LeBron James is where he is on the top 10 list an he's not going up, not at all. He's with Shaq Olajuwon an Duncan 7-10 section. 5 & 6 Bird & Magic. 1-4 as mentioned atop. LeBron is great but he's not slick he knows unlike his fanboys that he'll never be in the Jordan Bird & Magic conversation. Never ever ever ever.

Lebron's outclassed by Jason Terry! #GoDallas ! MJ's a killer when the playoffs start! He's a killer all of the time. Give him a reason to light you up... he will!..

I love this video. I was born in 86', and had the pleasure of watching both guys play. LeBron James truly is a great basketball player, but he has far too many holes in his game that Jordan simply didn't have. When it's crunch time he (LeBron) falls flat, he often gives up too easily on defense, is an uninspiring leader, and him chasing à superstar team shows, to me, his lack of confidence in an ability to build à Championship franchise. Jordan made Pippen and Rodman superstars and made the 90s Bulls team winners and repeat champions. A team to be feared and conquered. A mountain to climb every time they stepped on the court. A puzzle that needed solving. Everyone knew they had to be on their A+++ game even to compete. And that was because of Michael Jordan. That was the energy we all felt watching him. It was always spectacular to see him play. As Larry Bird said after The Celtics beat the Bulls: "That is god disguised as Michael Jordan".... I am yet to feel that same energy watching LeBron James... MJ is THE 🐐
It’s 2020 and I still wanna be like Mike!
We all do
Amen to that
I love how you closed the door on em at the end! Nuff said
Forgot one tiny little thing NCAA Championship and Game winning shot, killer instinct confirmed from day one.
Frank Goozie that's the one thing I see lacking in LeBron and I have theory why. LeBron is great but he seems to lack that maniacal desire to win at any cost that Jordan did. Remember LeBron James was has been told he's the chosen one since he can probably remember. Dude could of played in the NBA at 16. Jordan was told he wasn't even good enough to play on his freshman high school basketball team. He was never called the chosen one. He had more to prove. He had doubters. Spent his entire career proving them wrong.
Michael Graham Even the Bulls were a little disappointed when they drafted MJ as he wasn't 7 feet.
Jason Dyrkacz exactly the 7 foot center was the big thing then. Everyone says the Trail Blazers fucked up bad but at the time it made sense. They already had Clyde Drexler who was very much similar to Jordan at the time.
lebron didn't win a NCAA championship because he didn't go to college, didn't even need collage to prove he was NBA ready.
Shrek Is A Baller perhaps he’s regretting that now maybe he’d be better than Jordan if he had learned those developmental skills. It’s a fact that Jordan is better fundamentally, footwork and defensively. Oh and while he was there he won the title on a game winning shot. NCAA title is harder to win than an NBA title, it’s a tournament one game elimination, you have a different team every year and only 4 chances in your lifetime.
Thank you for bringing up the 2014 Finals when the Spurs tore the Heat apart. Wade played hurt and out of shape but Kawhi kept LeBron from having any real impact on the series despite the 28 points a game he scored. I’d also talk about the 2013 Finals. The Spurs were up 2-1 going into Game 4 in SA. Wade was the best player on the floor in Game 4. He dominated on both ends of the floor. LeBron followed him. He scored more points but it was a vintage Wade performance that won the game. If they had lost, they would’ve been down 3-1 and they would’ve lost. LeBron has played with three dudes (Wade, Kyrie, now AD) who were dominant one on one scorers. Jordan played with none.
That is probably the best video I’ve ever watched🙌🏽
No disrespect but MJ can shut down Jason Terry with the snap of his fingers
That's a Bit of an over statement .But to be honest if MJ guarded Jason Terry, Jason Terry would end up being useless the entire series 😂
