Direct Gold Smelting & Refining Raw Quartz Gold Ore

2021 ж. 18 Қыр.

Demonstration video of a MBMMLLC 1 ton/hr turn key system processing raw quartz ore into a gold rich concentrate. The concentrate is then further processed into refined gold dore beads by cupelling and direct smelting. This process uses bismuth rather than harmful lead and is a mercury and chemical free solution for asgm gold miners. The smelting and cupellation technique can be used on all types of gold ore concentrates to refine and coalesce the gold particles into a single bead free of base metals. When done using bismuth the process is much cleaner, safer, and more environmentally friendly than using mercury and nitric acid or other chemicals, which still does not refine to gold as completely as the cupellation process.

  • Ever thought of using iron filings from a brake disk/drum lathe? I'd think that any brake service would give all of that to you that you might want, and you could put in a predetermined amount of iron in your flux and present the maximum surface area for reaction in any given ore that you are smelting.

    • Pretty typical general setup but the devil is in the details and Jason's group has demonstrated tremendous ability in metallurgy, machinery, and process settings. Screen sizes, gpm, feeder rate, table tuning are all a project unto themselves even if someone gave you all this equipment. Mistakes lead to the gold going to one of the waste streams or the concentrate being filled with tailings.
