I would never change my SMG for a manual. On track days the SMG is always more fun. And I prefer SMG over manual even for everyday driving. Once you master it. It’s smooth as even city driving. When my SMG pump went it’s the motor inside the pump that fails. Service the pump and motor save yourself thousands. I did my motor repair in the pump 3 years ago. And it’s should last around another 90,000-100,000 kms. My pump went out at 93,000kms I did your fix at 70,000kms and it lasted to 93,000kms
Thank you for this video! Mine just took a dumb on me! “N” flashing, won’t go into gear.. if I try a few times it jumps into second gear! Also when I go reverse it has that loud tump noise 😫

People always go straight to the pump itself and most times it’s the little things. The pumps believe it or not rarely fail. People abuse the car and lunch it which causes the pump to break

@@brandoncook8300 i tried switching it the one in my car was a 12a this new one i got fits but says 32a on it so idk if it really effects it or not but i hope not
