"You can see that the left side cladding went much more quickly' yeah but also a lot more... rustic, mate, haha. Love it though!
Looks great matt but if you do cladding again a little tip is to line up the cladding all the way round. And an easy tool to do the cladding with is 2 bits of batten screwed together as a T and cut to length to allow for the overlap it will then hook under the bottom lip allowing you to just rest the next length ontop
We all love Robin Clevett
It all looks great. You may want to think about putting in an overflow outlet for the rain barrel because it won't get used used in the winter and will very quickly get full. I used an ugly black bendy pipe to come out of my faded green barrels and offload any overflow into one of the flower beds.
Really beautiful work, Matt! 😃 Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Great video and a great job thanks Matt 🍺🍺👍👍
Looking really crisp 👌 Great explanation of how to finish the feather edge where it meets a window or corner 👍
Well done Matt, you done a nice job there, your mum and dad must be well happy and really proud
Great job, really like it.
Great build Matt !! very nice
Hi Matt, love all your videos. 7:45 Would just like to add, normally you put the first and last bracket first ( making sure the last bracket is lower than the first) then run a string between the the two and align all the other brackets to the string.
I love this series of videos, great work Matt, first class!
Looks great, coming along nicely! You are doing an excellent job. Thanks for sharing!
Really nice looking building, well done Sir.
Doing a great job there Matt, make a nice home office or workshop or gym to name a few , have a nice day !!!.
Great job. I'd be interested to know the rough costs of building something that size?
I can tell you, too bloody much
Fantastic job and I can’t believe the Win you had with the glass. 👏🏾👏🏾
Wow ! That is really impressive. I am looking forward to seeing the inside being completed.
It's looking great. Always good to reach this stage of the build. Look forward to the next stages. Thanks for posting the work you do.
Impressive work Matt, looks really nice. Enjoyed watching from the start. Tony
Nice job Matt. Looking forward to the internal works.
Looking good now Matt!👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😎😎😎😎
Great job, looks lovely and that Whisky barrel looks like it belongs there - shame it’s only gonna hold water, but a5 least it will be nice smelling water for a while 👍👍👍
Hi Matt, thzt is a excellent job you are doing, good luck with the rest of the build.
Thank you
Cracking job Matt it does look good, hopefully you get the tap all sorted on that barrel or better still buy a normal Water Butt and you take the Barrel home, fair swap. Stay Safe, Barry (the Wirral)
MATT!!🫣4:45 pull them trousers up. 😂🤣
👍👍👍
This is brilliant, love watching the build. Do you think you will be installing a woodburner/cooking stove? That would make a very cool place to be.
On the corners, is it advisable to have a piece that goes over the cladding? That would mean that if the pieces aren’t cut level, it is hidden. It also allows for expansion/contraction. Please advise.
Great as always Matt. Sounds like you have a cold or sore throat on the voice over. Take care 👍
Absolutely amazing job. We bought a cabin for the garden last year, it cost a lot. I don't think I could have built it to as long a lasting quality as yours or the cabin we have, but I did build the bar and back bar cabinet.
A bar in there sounds great
I can hear the keyboard warriors shouting don’t glue the gutter with the cement. Sometimes you have to do these things. Yes it does mean you can’t take it apart to clear for example but it means it works in your situation It is coming together nicely 👍🏻
Matt, I was proud of you when you showed the stubby. But Mate, the barrel was empty !! Where did the contents go to ? Nice clean job mate. Onya !! Mum will be happy, capitalize on it !!
Looks good matt only a few bits looked a bit odd not being spaced correctly, windows look good though
I was wondering what you were going to do with the barrel overflow, but with the tap on, it solves the problem I live in the tropics and that barrel would be overflown in one night :P (not with whiskey unfortunately)
A lovely finish! Any particular reason for the nearly 100% overlap on the piece after the cut out for the bottom of the window frame on 2nd end wall (when compared to the 1st end wall)
I’m assuming the spacing of level of the planks was out so it was to correct it
So ,what's the cost of this . Very good build by the way
great work. I would be very suspect of that water barrel support. I used one of those with a standard plastic barrel and once full it collapsed under the weight :( I'd recommend either using the plastic support as a template and fill it with hardcore & concrete or place the barrel on a few bricks cemented together.
I've always used some sleepers, cut to required size then screwed together with timber fixings, which seem to work well
Loving this series so far! Great to see how you go about building one of these, are you planning on insulating it?
Yes I will
@@Badgerworkshop Just saw you mentioned it at the end, I was too quick!
2 Makita purists disapproved of this video 🙃
Very nice. Unhelpful comment : I think vertical cladding looks a lot more sophisticated. Sorry!
A few queries on the cost. Id say about £1500.
I see electricians in the UK are just as clueless as they are in the US. Hahaha.
Hope they didn't breach the membrane when screwing those pattresses on.
Sorry, all I heard was “I don’t have a nail gun, and I didn’t use this as an excuse to get one”
hi new sub here, what is the heighth of your room plz? what is the fall? i would like to build 1 myself, great video, ty rob. @badgerworkshop
