I discovered your chanel fairly recently, essentially as I was in market for a tudor black bay chrono panda. Videos are extremely well made with a unique tone. I love smoking cigars, of course paired with a nice whisky or rhum so your overall set up looks perfect to me!. But having then someone, watch lover and enthusiast , non french , enjoying and showing so well this lovely wine from saint julien.... you have all my due respects!! Bravo!!

not going to lie... I really missed this format. Nice work. I was on the wait list for a Chorno Panda back when they were hard to get. Thee AD called me and said he had a reverse panda come in and asked if I wanted it. I took it and never looked back. I think I dodged a bullet with that stark white dial. It was a good call.
I hate to be the one to tell you that you did not dodge a bullet. I own a rolex sub no date, batman, hulk, and an explorer 1. Out of all those Rolexes my Tudor chrono panda is my absolute favorite. The dial is the most gorgeous dial I've seen. Its this beautiful ivory white, not a true white. The reason its gorgeous is because that ivory white dial contrasts perfectly with the darker white hour markers and snowflake hand. I dont have any problems at all reading the time. I notice that some people tend to mention that with white or silver dials. To be honest, I think its the older crowd with their aging eyes that likely find it more difficult. Because of the sorta ivory white dial it lends a good contrast to the white hour markers and hand. I really dont see how its hard to tell the time unless youre older and your vision is not what it used to be. In that case, then yes maybe the black dial is a bit better for you. Something about this white though is truly special. The reverse panda is nice too but youve gotta to see the panda dial in person. I actually prefer this design in panda over the panda Daytona. Love me a bicompax chrono with this design.
Tudor Pandas remain unsold now in AD windows - isn’t it odd that they were hot watches for so long. I like both the white and black dials and whereas the black is more practical for legibility the white does have something special going on.
@blake. Spot on. Fellow panda owner and agree 100% w/your observations and analysis. My only gripe is the lack of user adjustability on the bracelet.

The tudor chrono isn't actually stark white anyway. The dial is more of the opaline silver than a white. It would be even better than it already is if it was a true white dial.

I was just lamenting the days of the quick fire unboxings that you do so well and that launched your channel - and here we are back on form with a great piece. Good man that you’re staying true to your vibe and this watch certainly suits your frame. I recently took another look at the Harrods but that’s so bulky it’s a bit of a joke. The heft of the is piece at least houses a cool chrono aesthetic. Great vid!

Beautiful watch. The way you talk about watch dials almost always reminds me of collecting antiquarian and private press books. Either from older very famous presses, like Aldine to the late 19th century Arts & Crafts period. From the different type faces used, to the their careful layout especially on the titlepage, (but often also throughout as well). The effects from light on different paper stocks (from finely laid Dutch Van Gelder, to cotton & vellum, etc) & the different inks and colors they would use. Some presses would cut their own type. I used to see quite a few come across my desk. A few made it into my own collection as well. But I definitely get that same aesthetic appeal and appreciation of detail & cohesion in watch faces,, especially listening to you describe them. Cheers.

Got mine in Jan this year, waited 2 months from a main UK A.D. No problem with that, though they asked me for the 15% price increse Tudor added after I'd paid in full ! Numpties. Anyway brand new in a box for £5470 made me a happy boy. Bought it with a small inheritance to remember my mum by. She loved a deep tan and anything gold - a true Essex girl - so every time I look at it I see her......sort of !

Missed this format. Glad to see you. I’m liking Tudor more and more. The wait for Rolex is getting old and blowing out the flame for me. I picked up a Tudor GMT and it’s become one of the favorites in my collection.

I still love my chrono panda dial, i cant stop looking at it even tho in some lights it can be difficult to read, but love it when the light hits the hands, congrats on your latest purchase it looks sweet

Hi Oisin, I own a Tudor as well and like you I truly enjoy that it is a rugged watch. What I like about the watch is I do not have to worry about banging up the watch as compared to other more expensive watches.

I bought my reverse panda because you specifically brought it to my attention and I am a 100kg+ guy who doesn’t not prefer a bling watch, however most standard sub 42mm watches look like a women’s watch on my 8” wrists. This watch model to me is exactly as you describe it.

Oisin I have two Tudor watches, and one of my favorite details are the aluminum bezels…..it’s more of a vintage look, and I love how they have a more matte appearance. I have had many Rolex watches with the ceramic bezel, and I like my Tudors best! Great review! Love the video!

Great unboxing , really enjoyed it. Agree with everything you said. I have a Panda and really love it , but seriously considered the two tone. It looks fantastic and had such a great retro vibe. Colour scheme just screams JPS Lotus 78. Perfect watch to wear at the Goodwood revival! Like the Nomadic, lot of watch for the money.

One point I had hoped you would bring up is the pusher feel. Everyone goes on about the daytona being the best chronograph pusher feel on the market, but honestly, I was let down by the daytona, having had the tudor first. The feel of the tudor pushers is just so positive and sound like you've just engaged a bullet into the chamber of a quality bolt action rifle. Having medium sized wrists I love wearing this tudor when i want to feel I have a "manly" sized watch on and the 116503 when I want to be more 'elegant' (for want of better words!) Agree with WatchWarrior good to see the unboxings again , the Nomadic is a fine watch been watching it for a while , I have the Tudor and I hold it in higher regard than my Explorer 11, Submariner S&G and Daytona, its a work of art and I'm glad its not as commonly seen as a Daytona, keep up the sterling content

A very overlooked piece. In the flesh it’s really a special looking watch. It’s not flashy because the gold is matte. The dial is amazing. Get one if you can before they are discontinued.

I was listening to your review and saw the Nomadic out of the corner of my eye. ! I am so jazzed that an expert horologist feels the way I do about Peters watches. I found out that the Belfast shipyards were where they made the Titanic which I concurrently got a grammy citation( the movies theme song).. Peter put that little anecdote in an article which was cool. Also I really like what you said about para social , and the thief , which won you a new fan. As I am 13 yrs sober when I first saw your videos I thought (mistakenly ) and made judgements . Well like many things I was wrong , in fact I really like that Tudor as well . I am rather bigger than I want to be now, but the rose gold makes this watch a real stunner, I agree a lot hotter than a Daytona. Anyhow thanks ! Paul Peabody
Great vid and my fave watch in collection since 2021. Agree with your comments about not having to see the B01, but they really improve it and actually make it a better performer than Breitling's own, yet, an equivalent spec Breitling watch with an inferior movement, would cost at least £3000 more. Mine also runs at less than +1s/day. Peerless on the bracelet but, Oisin, try a black after market rubber - it'll suit the 'rugged bling' style you champion and pop with your peerless photography.
Tudor pelagos and Swatch are young, energetic and setting the trend. I have been buying a few of them.
I had this watch and traded it towards a Zenith chrono master sport. I LOVE the Zenith but you made me remember my days enjoying this watch and yea great great watch.

Beautiful watch. I saw your bb58 blue review, I own that watch and I agree that it can be to small for some people. I'm a bit smaller of a guy than you, it's the perfect size for me. And I've tried this one on the video on at the Tudor AD in Paris Ave it felt too big. Love the reviews, keep em coming.

I watched another video you did about the Tudor Panda and I enjoyed this video as well. I picked my Tudor Panda up from my AD this weekend. A few things for people considering this piece. I own a few Rolex sports models- Deep Sea, couple GMT’s and OP’s. The fit, feel and finish on my Tudor definitely isn’t on par with the way Rolex feels putting it on and how it looks on your arm. You can feel and see Rolex is a step above, but that’s the way it was intended from the beginning with Tudor. However, you’re getting a piece for less than half the price of those Rolex models. For $5500 US, you get a brand that’s a sister company to Rolex, great movement that’s keeping within +1 second a day on mine, 70 hour power reserve, sapphire crystal, a date, 200 meters water resistance all in a chronograph that’s a certified chronometer. That’s a lot of bang for the buck that personally I feel Tag, Breitling and even Omega can’t offer in this price range. In fact I’ve tried on brands costing double this that weren’t as nice. So in a nutshell, would I pick a Daytona over this? Absolutely at retail. Would I pay $30k grey market for a Daytona? No. I am surprisingly enjoying this piece more than I thought I would and I’d highly recommend adding to your collection now that these are more readily available. I think it’s a suitable alternative to a Daytona. Lacking the fit and feel of a Rolex didn’t outweigh all the other positive features of the Tudor.

It looks cool with that white shirt, but it would look equally as cool with a leather jacket as well. The gold makes it just a bit more serious, more elegant, but also more interesting. It's still a sporty beast of a watch though at its core. This is 100times better than the panda or the reverse panda steel. Congrats! Love the Nomadic too for a microbrand beater.

Great review. Nothing less to be expected from the owner of this channel. At this point I'd love to hear one day what are the real differences in term of pure technical values between a Rolex and a Tudor diver of the same type. Name, history and status symbol aside. Just from a point of view of engineering and style.
As a Chrono Panda user myself, I gotta admit, I've also been looking at the S&G model lately. Particularly because of that contrast issue with the hands that impacts legibility in certain situations.

I have the black reverse panda version on both bracelet and the bund. Being a larger lad I personally prefer it over the daytona myself. Rugged, stylish and dare I say it rock & roll especially on the bund.🤘🏽

The Nomadic is a very nice looking watch. This is a very tough segment of the watch market to be in though. There are so many budget dive watches out there. It can be hard to stand out.
