Just confirming that all base of handles in all Birkin sizes must have 3 double stitching on each handle? Because all Birkin 25 sizes (including the ones you sell and ones seen on Hermes store bought) have two double stitchings on each handle base. However, beautiful and very detailed video! I just watched your video and based on your knowledge of Hermes, you and your company need to do more research on authenticating your bags. A lot of it was spot on, however, there was one main thing that you pointed out as well as something you forgot. And that I believe is a key point and an easy way to tell in person if you’re bag is not authentic. 1. You stated the bags are fully hand stitched throughout the whole bag and by one artisan. The truth is that Hermes stopped doing all hand stitched back in 2008. More than 50% of the bag is machine stitched, including the whole interior and sangles. Currently there are videos made by Hermes to show that it is a team of people that puts the bags together and not just “one” artisan. 2. You forgot to mention that the clou (feet) on an authentic bag will not turn or twist as they are hammered on. Where the non-authentic will turn and possibly come off as they are screwed in.

I’m afraid I would be very wary of your judgement. A few years ago I purchased a Chanel Boy bag from the London Bond Street store. I wanted to sell it a few years ago and you agreed a price so I sent you my bag. You then said it was a fake!! Unbelievable especially as you said you had the right to confiscate it! I had to involve the police and a BBC consumer helpline. You eventually returned my bag but you kept all my Chanel packaging the box, ribbon, carrier bag etc. So your Company certainly can not tell fake from authentic. The issue I have is that brands like Chanel are no longer asking people to pay for the quality of their items like back in the day. I get that there is the issue of exclusivity, but there is nothing you can say to me to make me pay Eur 8000 simply to be associated with a name. Like really, who are you?!?! Give me a high quality non-designer bag any day of the week! I love how honest you are about everything. when someone is carrying a *esluxs* and you pass them on the street no one can tell whether is fake or real one because you cannot do this much analysis on it. what I hate about LV and why I stopped buying them is that many people assume your bag is fake when they pass you on the street. The grains from the leather when hit by light are they too big? Since it's a video and we cannot touch the youtuber ask us which one is fake I cannot smell and I can't touch it, so if it's based on my visual it's the one that when hits by light grains are looking rough, too big and bumpy. Hermes leather have grains but smooth and tiny.
