Матрас ничем не зафиксирован. С таким же успехом можно было его бросить на пол. П. С. Мастерство мастера на высоком уровне.
Как будет выходить воздух из матраца если нет отверстий для проветривания. И как будет держаться матрас на кровати? Он же будет съезжать под утро на пол, поскольку нет боковых упоров.
Ну я у американцев видел, что приклеивают двухсторонний скотч под матрас и он никуда не уезжает

Your workmanship is awesome, just my opinion but after years and years of flat sawn oak I have come to favor rift sawn, even 1/4 sawn has to much movement in the figure for me personally if I am highlighting the joinery regardless you are a true craftsman and I enjoy your work thanks for posting. BTW I was wondering if you use Japanese chisels or Korean since I know you guys understand steel as well as anybody else.

Да, есть несколько спорных решений. Поди пойми их, японцев.)
И не говори. Такая трудоёмкая кровать, а в итоге херота какая-то щитовая получилась. Ну и работа в перчатках на станках--верх профессионализма.
Самое интересное , что критикуют почти одни русскоязычные . И польза читающему от таких комментариев есть, хотя местами неслабо раздражает . Западники только хлопают в ладоши.
Мы не хотим такие кровати. Но я тоже не понимаю из мотивов. Вероятно это боты питеков с опреденными целями, но это только вероятно.

Во первых у кровати нет бортов, матрац просто уползёт ночью. Во вторых зашив плоскость кровати сплошняком матрац не будет вентилироваться и начнёт плесневеть. Ну а соединение конечно прикольные.
На фуганке в перчатках работать это конечно смело. Да и трудозатраты на каркас кровати конечно страшные. Но собрано крепко спору нет

Magnificent work and great craftsmanship, I'm in awe. I see a potential flaw in this, however . . . the real reason you would raise a bed off the floor is to provide air circulation under the bed and up through the mattress, which provides for better body temperature control and a more comfortable sleep. The flat boards supporting the mattress should not be closed; using slats would be a better idea. It seems to me that if you're going to leave it closed then you might as well save yourself all the hassle of building the bed and just setting the mattress and box spring on the floor. PS - that bed will last 500 years.
fred, I see where you're coming from, but with modern climate control technology, this is way less of an issue. In fact, the original reason that beds were raised to to preserve heat, getting your body up off the cold ground, where your body heat would be leached away. Nowadays they're raised mostly to make lying down and getting up more convenient (and because that's what people in the West expect a bed to be, which is probably the bigger reason for it).

А каким образом будет закреплён матрас? Он же постоянно будет съезжать с такой формы. Необходимо было немного опустить настил от краев кровати. Это не кровать, а тупая конструкция ящика с профессиональными соединениями.

This video made me so happy, you can't imagine. As a kid I learned some wood-working in some places from skilled carpenters (I'm talking about the early 70s) and This is EXACTLY the technique and level of accuracy, and control over the wood they showed me. Since then - I never saw this done until now. Of course I can tell good furniture from bad furniture, and shamefully - I haven't seen any good furniture in any shop for... at least 20-30 years now. It's all industrialized, which gives some basic level of accuracy, but accuracy that is blind to the material, and to the design and to the needs and requirements of the specific piece of furniture. Last, the wood itself is most of the time inferior. I'm really thrilled to see this. Who is the artist, and where does he live and work?
Where is the challenge when you start with good, hard, stable wood and have routers, table saw, ans whatnot ? It just grooves and dovetails
I don't mind good commentary with videos, but I'm thankful you don't have dumb music track. I love hearing the natural sound especially when it's sped up.

I find the varying use of glue, interlocked joints and screws a bit weird. It seems like some parts are done with overkill and others should be sturdier.
Change in Humidity. Large surface areas will split if glued when the air is dry.

He is clearly a master at this, so I shouldn't really say anything, but it doesn't half make me nervous when he's hammering home those dovetails with a metal hammer! 😯 Beautiful craftsmanship, and I would love this in my house! Strong work!
That will last as long as there is anyone around who wants to use it. 🙂 I'd just recommend to take care of at least some form of ventilation under the mattress or new lifeforms will eventually start to appear.
That's a good comment. The tree under the mattress is cypress. Resistant to pests and ticks. Maybe even better than drilling it out.
@@WoodworkingDIY thanks for the compliment. But the bacteria and fungus will grow inside the mattress if it is not allowed to air dry properly.

My great grandpa lost his hand to a planer because it caught a piece of his glove and pulled his whole hand in. Stop wearing gloves around fast spinning blades.

The planer's bad, but I was holding my breath on the jointer. Massive machine, wearing gloves, no guard, fence set way back even for edge jointing, and sliding a hand ON THE BED towards the blades and stopping just short? Absolutely terrifying
@@cosmingalbinita9329 it most certainly will not, Sawstop doesn't make planers. Get your hand caught in one of those and it'll happily shred your fingers right to pieces
@@cosmingalbinita9329 Even if this has sawstop tech in it, it will not stop at the glove. It will stop at his hand, after the blade has pulled it in at high velocity. I've seen guys who have just knicked their finger without gloves on a saw stop, and they had to go to the ER still. Imagine that blade getting a high velocity head start.

In my apprenticeship I was tought old school just like this...dovetails and mortice & tenon with the wedge. It's not just a skill...it's a work of art!

Правильно мыслишь. Парень отличный столяр, но конструкция чуть недоработана. Нужна хотя бы маленькая ниша для укладки матраса.

Если ей не пользоваться - она и 500 лет прослужит. А если сделать ножки нормальной высоты,жизни ей лет 30,потом рассыплется. А мастер,конечно,молодец.
Как столяр с большим опытом могу сказать что работа аккуратная но не более . Имея довольно неплохой набор инструмента , некоторые операции выполняются странным образом мягко говоря . И хотя дуб предполагает массивность но тут всё грубо . Слишком изделие перегружено открытыми соединениями , хотя бы половину надо было бы сделать скрытыми . И эту кровать вообще можно сделать без ручной работы , оборудования там достаточно .

@@Star69ca судя по картинке твоей , детство в заднице играет и мои дети старше тебя . Работаю только под заказ и только с предоплатой . А по сему человек видит мою работу не на картинке и может потрогать руками . Необходимости выкладывать мою работу в сеть у меня нет . Мне хватает того что есть . И отбивать шнуром линию реза просто п....ц ! Ни когда таких не понимал , по хвастаться да и только . Есть ребята выкладывают резьбу фрезером на панели или филёнках двери , не сложный рисунок резьбы но сама работа . Кто работал фрезером ручным знает как бывает тяжело его удержать когда переходишь с продольной на поперечную фрезеровку и наоборот , а ещё и в завитках где уменьшить глубину а где увеличить . Вот они молодцы . И в общем все , а доказывать что-то диванным критикам и распинаться перед ними .... Я вышел из этого возраста лет 25-30 назад . Для меня в моей работе главное одно делай всегда как для себя чтобы никто не сказал что ты херню сделал .

привет всем ! во первых о вкусах не спорят . во вторых жаль столько досок испортил ( потратил ) на чучело спальное . я бы с такими инструментами изготовил бы нечто другое . а на счет мастерства плотника--столяра --- круглая пятерка .. руки что надо . браво мастер . кстати -- инструментам просто завидуешь ( в хорошем смысле слова ) .
Да , конструктив очень сильно заморочен , достаточно было бы шиповых соединений ! Да и внешний вид у кровати несклепаный , но видать в японии такие вкусы ! У них соединения есть еще чудней и как они сочленяются не поддается никакой логике !

самый скрипучий вариант выбрал..кто делает сплошной подматрасник да еще в паз..такая кровать от кошки скрипеть будет..
траходром из такой кровати никакой.развалится и по ночам соседям покоя не будет.скрип не даст им спать

Wish I only had to make my bed once every 100 years instead of Every. Single. Damn. Morning.
Великолепная мастерская работа заслуживает похвалы, но дизайн и эргономика, как по мне, находятся на низком уровне. 1. Матрац никак не закреплён к кровати, отсутствуют бортики, которые могли бы препятствовать его движению. Неподвижность матраца - важный аспект взрослой жизни, если вы понимаете, о чём я. ;-) 2. Подкроватное пространство распланировано неудачно: очень много свободного простраства, в котором будет скапливаться пыль (и шерсть домашних животных, если они есть). Туда напрашиваются ящики для хранения, например, сменного постельного белья, сезоных одеял. Или я просто фанат Икеи. :-)

Они то мебель из нашего нормального леса делают, а у нас (в Якутии) куб третьесортной сороковки 25т. р. стоит. Сырые. Ведет винтом, потому надо сразу приколотить 🙄
То что вы называете отходами, это по незнанию. На самом деле ДСП делается из хорошей древесины.
Не умеете пользоваться ресурсами своими, смотри-смотри как они умеют

эх ! хороший лес, добрый бы забор получился ! а мебель здесь делают из опилок ...
Кровать из бука, дорогое удовольствие, в России максимум из сосны делают, и то последнее время из ДСП. Но видно что мастер своего дела, кровать прочная, реально 100 лет прослужит. Соединение "ласточкин хвост" и клей ПВА ни когда не разойдется!
Обвяз монументальный , а вот заполнение слишком широкие доски для такой толщины да и еще в замкнутом наглухо обвязе ! Но если мастер владеет такими навыками , то он наверно знает что делает !
Материал не бук, бук не имеет текстурно структурный рисунок. Это скорее всего ясень, дуб потемнее бывает. И при надлежащем уходе эта кровать прослужит не одну сотню лет.

Спасибо ихний глава государства что обеспечивает людям работу и зарплату. Я слышал что в Корее простому работягу 3 ,4 тыс долларов зарплата а если ты такой мастер, не представляю. А что цены на продукты дорого ? Не будешь же есть как корова. Люди ездят мз других стран на работу в Корее. Спасибо большое. Трудятся.

Мастера по дереву живут не сильно хорошо т.к. их ремесло уже отмирает. Касается всех развитых стран как Европы так и Азии.
Сто лет наврятли, это смотря как часто и усердно её расшативать
железную кровать ушатали за 3 года, металл лопнул (сварка спасла ситуацию)
Сердце радуется, что есть люди, умеющие так качественно работать своими руками!
