Good game JSU needed some humble pie today they ate the whole pie.....congrats to South Carolina state they were ready for the big stage .....plus their coach has paid his dues 30 years of coaching at a HBCU and not leaving for bigger and better....much respect

@@jsoul99 JSU got out coach today coach buddy made the half time adjustment and JSU didn't....he said he been coaching for 45 years and never won any rewards ....today he beat the best on the biggest stage ....that was years of coaching experience vs a rookie.....hats off to coach buddy for staying at a HBCU for 30 years and not selling out for bigger and better ......their were a lot of life lessons in this game today like the rabbit and turtle.....slow and steady wins the race....

We got humbled. MEAC been owning us in this game. Congrats South Carolina State.
Not just this game but also the MEAC SWAC challenge.
And the past 20 plus years
Frat that dude said in a post that the MEAC has owned the SWAC was no lie. JSU was out coached. They took away the underneath routes and JSU QB could not deliver over the top where they were in 1 on 1 coverage. JSU db's were in man coverage and got handled by #1 that caught 3 td's. You can blame the O line he had 4 sec to get rid of the ball. 1/3 of scores came from kick return game and SCS took that away with rugby kicks and kick offs. Just a well coached game by SCU. What happen to all the sacks JSU put up? Their qb pick out #1 that had man coverage the rest is history. Why you didn't pull a safety over the top? They were humble and I was right there. We rode a train to the game and a SCS Alum said don't be upset about this a** whipping ya'll about to get. I left the game with 10 minutes left it was over.
I actually think much of that is because Alcorn really wasn't as good as people thought they were. I bet my money on them losing every time
@@SpokenWord4 All the sacks we usually put up is in games where the refs don't let holding and chop-blocking slide as much. The refs called in completely different than most games. And it's not like JSU wasn't mostly in control of this game before the bad spot before the 4th & 1 stop and Shedures fumble

Something beautiful is happening, that in and of itself is worth a celebration … Salute to SC state, you did what many didn’t think you would…
Well said sir, MY PEOPLE lets celebrate the level of competition raising in HBCU. One of the reasons we can't move forward is the fact some are just waiting for the opportunity to hate.

I don’t get why everyone is so happy for hbcu’s and really want them to succeed. They are mostly irrelevant nowadays. They aren’t nearly as good as the division 1 schools and plus most football teams are majority black for all teams (which doesn’t matter nowadays anyways), and good win by the bulldogs

Ima tell y’all a little secret about my team that’s even crazier. Around 92 percent of our team is from South Carolina. No transfers or nothing. We just beat a team full of transfers (17 ) from power 5 schools & that has the money to recruit all over the country. Love us or hate us but y’all got to respect us. JSU disrespect us from the jump with all their arrogant comments. So we knew what we had to do. - also we had at least 6 starters out this game this game👀. Appreciate you all for the love too! God is good

Damn. Definitely wasn't expecting this at all. That very first turn over Sanders had in SC states Redzone set the tone for the rest of the game and it was all downhill from there. They winning it all next year. I hate to see them lose but losing builds character. Now all the HBCU's are going to try to come with the heat. Terrible loss for JSU but great win overall for SC State and HBCU's in general.
Shadaur Sander is a dam good Quarterback, he’s young too. Just sometimes makes a turnover when the play just needs to die.
Offensive line and pass protection need a lot of work
I don’t think so. His command, footwork, arm strength and delivery is NOT at a D1 level. He is way behind other quarterbacks I’ve seen. Deion, please get this guy a QB coach that help your son or put him on the bench
@@Slick_Nick7567 he held the ball to long and had a problem reading the defense and taking what was given. Changes from the sidelines should have came but that month that SCS had they worked it.

We... SCSU played Georgia Tech...and it was kinda close...we had 6 NFL players on that team 2009...and lost in the FCS playoffs to Appalachian State who just defeated U of Michigan in yhe Biggest stadium in the Nation...Appalachian State win the National Title for FCS...SCSU lost by 3 points and could have won...the Defense took the ball from App State then fumbled it back on t he returned to the endzone...

Bottom line is JSU did not play well. SC State had a whole school semester to prepare and they were ready. The blame has to lie at the feet of T.C Taylor and Shadeur Sanders. That first int he had a receiver WIDE open but he pre determined his read and threw it short to Newman who got lit up and couldn't hold on. JSU O.C abandoned the run to early. Marshall had a nice 18 yd run and didnt get another carry until late. They tried to use the pass to open up the run and it did not work. Their O line is Pure Trash and they definitely need better and they need to teach Shilo how wrap up and stop looking for splash hits and how to high point deep balls.
Need to be looking for offensive linemen this off-season
