CClamps won’t hold a load on a fork because of the taper. Blow a hole in the fork for a pin or shackle.

Mad skills and creativity! Love your channel, and what you had in that car was a 260 Old's smogger not a Buick, Buicks of that era had a front mount distributor-think early 70's Wagoneer with the Buick 350.

Hard to find an LS motor in my area for under $750 so getting a full vehicle is a great idea

You better get some ebay frame ties and figure out how to keep the rear end centered under the car.

- @@Rustomod we used to have problems keeping the 10 bolt under the X body GM platform. The centering pins on the leaf springs like to let loose and go dog walking.

That's not a buick motor!! That's an oldsmobile. Buicks have the distributor is in the front of the motor. Olds has a filler neck in the front! SMH!
