the cinematography, the backgrounds, the planning, all of this was truly incredible and well executed!!!
I really appreciate that the DPR behind the scene videos always show ACTUAL behind the scenes footage. Something I have noticed in a lot of other bts videos, especially of music videos and especially in kpop, is that oftentimes there is vey little footage showing HOW things are made, just glam shots of the artist from a few extra angles. I like that we get to see what cameras they're using, who is working on what, how the extras and artist are being directed, time issues etc. It should honestly be the norm to make bts videos like this (and in some fields it still is) but I sadly see it less and less. Anyways, I have nothing but respect for every single person who worked on this project to make it the beautiful, whimsical little movie it is!
i believe its because artists don't have the exact same vision as the director. Since IAN directed the MV we were given his insight and perception on how the video was produced. Although i do wish Behind the scene videos in Kpop were like this. so much more intriguing.
@@makintoshxd I know and I agree. Of course someone who is 'just' the performer will have no insight into the blocking or lighting. That part is fine, I don't expect them to know more. I however do wish that they would show more of the crew, more insight from the director etc. Although I understand that for some of them it may also be a desire to not show their face to the public too much, who knows.
I see this a lot in the music videos of Chinese artists, even the series from that country handle it, I also used to see them in music groups in Japan and I personally love it, whether it's movies, trilogies, music videos, Even the movies previously had this a lot in their physical videos and it is extremely cool, if Ian made a behind the scenes of all his MVs, I would watch them, because I love that part and I love the process that makes everything magic.

Being able to pull off such an extravagant mv shoot in 2 days is very impressive. Ian and DPR truly don’t play around when it comes to their work. I truly enjoy watching all the behind the scenes because it gives dreamers an insight and a closer perspective of how the crew works. So proud of the whole DPR crew for everything they do and how hard they work. I am truly proud to be a dreamer 💗
The way Ian's creativity and drive to create his visions honestly inspires me so much. He puts a lot of thought into what he does, and it really shows in his work. It's been so cool seeing the growth DPR has had, and honestly, can't wait for another tour again!!!

I will never stop being amazed of how talented and dedicated Ian is but also how brilliant the DPR team is as well, how they can always pull off this kind of crazy projects, work under pressure and always bring to life Ian's ideas. They're ambitious and passionate, despite the struggles and the tiredness they must have felt during the making of the project. Also IU, she gives such a good vibe, responsible, polite and still so passionate about her work even after so many years of being in the industry. She's an amazing artist. I loved the MV so much 🖤

this documentary makes me so happy. I discovered IAN because of this MV, and since then I have been really obsessed with his art, vision and talent. IU commented on his IG posts that he's a genius, and after watching the MV and now the documentary, I can fully understand why she said that. the dedication, time and efforts spent on this movie is unmatched. we can really see all of it in the final project. Big congrats on your first non-DPR directorial comeback in 6 years - I still remember first watching Mino's "BODY" MV, and was like "wow - who did this MV?" p.s. I love these kind of documentary/behind-the-scene videos - it's amazing to see Director Yu's brain work. And everyone killed it - IU, Ian, DPR team, the whole film crew, stylists and extras, etc!

I love the documentary so much. It shows the passion and love he has for creating music video and movie types of scenes. He is so passionate about what he does, and everything that he is. I cannot stop loving him and what he creates DPR, Ian, Christian Yu which ever name he will go by I will continue to support him. He’s just such an amazing Director, artist and man. IU just she is breathtaking to see my favorite female artist with my favorite male artist and Director together. It makes me so happy. I can’t wait to see IU in August and I can’t wait to see DPR Ian concert one day. I also can’t wait for the DPR movie.
