Today I'm going to teach you how to speak with a posh British Accent with perfect English pronunciation. Also known as the Upper RP accent, this is mostly used by the super-rich, fancy, high-class people like the royal family. It's really not a commonly used accent though, so, keep that in mind!
If you don't know Miss World Vietnam already, you can find her on Instagram or TikTok: @summer_nails_london !

  • Splendid lesson. I must admit that this Upper Rp accent theme is such an exquisite accent. Despite sounding old-fashioned and rather odd for so many people, from my view it sounds totally unique and elegant. Please I would be grateful if you explain more about this accent.

  • Curiously, some elements of the RP sound exactly as if it would be the Russian accent. Say, _cat_ as _ket_ is a signature Russian pronunciation mistake. Same goes for R in _very_ - the way Ali shows it is exactly how R sounds in Russian (which is a pretty distinctive sound). Looks like I can view my accent as sorta posh, lol :)
