Today reaction video, we are reacting to Ukraine Eurovision 2022 Kalush Orchestra Stefania. Kalush Orchestra live performance Eurovision was really fun. We all know that the Eurovision song contest is taking place in Turin Italy. I really hope Ukraine place high in ESC 2022 and I will be checking out where the place.     • Вы не переживайте. Он сам на английском еле говорит. И в музыке похоже, не сильно понимает. Он сказал, что подход необычный... А что он ожидал от европейского государства с образованными людьми? Игру на консервных банках? Та же Ивана купала и здобже здуб микшуют фолк с нью эйджем, да мало ли кто ещё. Калуш текст написали,что мороз по коже, а ему вот дудочка глянулась. Чуваки - отличные профессионалы и работают в дистрессе. А он лайки сидит на их таланте собирает. Люди рыдают сидят, а ему поставьте лайк и все

  • That flute is Ukrainian traditional instrument - tylynka. It only has two holes and is played mostly in the Karpaty region. Thanks for your nice reaction!

    • Hmm telenka is one dimensional sound flute I don't think the sound is telenka but in the video clip is definitely telenka unless its enchanced by a program. To tell you the truth I heard mostly Romanians playing it so I am not familiar with the Ukrainian sound. So if he really plays telenka then he is super good at it. But none the less it's a very good song definitely better than last year's which I liked as well .

  • 💛💙🇺🇦❤️🇨🇦magnificent job Ukraine. Bravissimo. The instrument he is playing is called tilinka. It’s not a flute. It’s Ukrainian ethnic instrument. And it’s different from sopilka that was played last year y A_GO band. Song is dedicated to his mother Stefania and I think to Ukraine as our beautiful Motherland. The beginning of the song is a Ukrainian lullaby. Here is everything. Rap. Breakdancing. Syncopated beats. Gorgeous light job as the backstage. Ukrainian folklore notes. Ukrainian gorgeous costumes are amazing. And the guy who is breakdancing is called “kylymman” which means carpet man. His costume covers all his body and it’s coloured with Ukrainian ornaments. I am so proud to be Ukrainian. And I am Canadian with Ukrainian roots. Canada stayed with you. 🇨🇦🇺🇦💛💙🇺🇦🇨🇦

  • Leader of the band is Oleh Psiuk and his mother's name is Stefania. " Stefania mamo, mamo Stefania!". "mamo" is the vocative case of mama in Ukrainian language. Mama means mother and "mamo!" is the vocative case. He addresses to her: "mamo, mamo!"

  • Love your reaction. Music has no boundaries, crosses borders, gives joy. From the beginning, I had shivers...The song was written in honor of the band member mother, Oleh Psiuko, named Stefania. Woman on the screen is his mother Stefania. Written before Russia's treacherous attack on Ukraine, a song for his mother who loves her son with infinite love. Son asks her to sing a childhood lullaby, lully lully ... Reinterpreted during the war as a tribute to Ukraine as a motherland and became the song of all mothers in Ukraine who had to send their children to a cruel war in defense of their homeland. It contains lyrics that we can translate as "you cannot take away my willpower as I got it from her" and "I will always find my way home, even if the roads are destroyed". A beautiful song that touches the heart. Ukraine, be strong, we wish you victory. Europe is with you. Slava Ukraini! 💙💛

    • American here, I only know English and a bit of Swedish! All I understood was the lullaby part, but I was rocking out to the rest of it too. I didn't understand a word but it was so good! Knowing now the symbolism it has in Ukraine cemented it as one of my favorites this year. 🇺🇸🇺🇦

  • You should check on Kalush's other projects! Especially his collabs with Alyona Alyona. If you like HH from all around the world this girl and Kalush are killing it. And Ukrainian rap scene is soooo good you will be shocked. It's like an old school hip hop kind of style but in east Europe post Soviet version. Trust me you want to see it. Just for the record I'm not Ukrainian, I've discovered them accidentally some years ago and I'm so glad i did and I'm so happy they went this far.

  • This years Eurovision is so strong, so many great songs, but we'll almost certainly lose some of them at the semi finals next week :( Serbias In Corpore Sano by Konstrakta and Germanys Malik Harris - Rockstars are so far away from each other in similarity, but both are so amazing. So many songs this year have lyrics far too 'real' for the silly show we call Eurovision. Even North Macedonia with Circles by Andrea is fantastic with deep lyrics, and that is a country I generally just write off each year. If you haven't seen it yet, Norway's Give That Wolf A Banana is as ridiculous as it sounds, but its just peak Eurovision chaos. I really hope it does well.

  • I’m from Ukraine and I really looove your reaction 🥰 Our guys are really talented, but I’m not sure they won only because of singing. Personally I voted for Great Britain and Poland .🇬🇧🇵🇱 However we all do grateful to all people who supported us in this conquest. In my opinion this is how whole Europe said us - “we are standing with Ukraine” . 💙💛 But all Ukrainian I’m sure , exchange all victories in all sport or song conquests only for ONE BIG VICTORY, which we are waiting the most .
