This was my favorite night of the year. 9/6/19. No more hot sun on my back, cooling off at night, lamp lights on, people mellowing out on a Saturday night, and I have already been playing five hours. I was in the ZONE. The ambiance was perfect for this song. My battery ran out soon after. Floyd always went over well, and this time, I got air guitar accompaniment at 2:03. @@shatnershairpiece Since none of us will ever be Mark Knopfler or David Gilmour, I like the idea of using your skills to capture their essence without trying to simply copy them. I can stream The Wall or Dire Straits for that. I like the fresh interpretation and personalization, while making it clear to your audience how much you respect them.

This man could be a sensation in Mexico, in Downtown México City there are some really good musicians and people stop and listen sometimes for hours and we give really good money, I mean I don't know how much you get for the entire day but on weekends I've seen those guys receiving 200 mexican peso, let's say 10 USD in a matter of 15-20 minutes? You should try here we appreciate good street musicians a lot.

What has happened to people's ears that they don't recognise a: a great musician and b: great music. Not just their ears but what has happened to their souls? I just cannot believe how people just ignored this. I would be there all day listening to this guy. I was really hoping the guy and woman waiting at the lights would come back.
business mans marching in time with the beat @1:15 immediately followed by backpack guys going the other way also marching to the beat. in fact, many people seem to be unconsciously walking in time with the beat.
Probably also has to do with the fact that the tempo of this song matches a natural walking pace. If the tempo was faster or slower, it wouldn't feel natural to march to the beat. But because of the tempo, it feels so natural that you don't even notice it.
Kind of a Saturday Night Fever moment there, LoL

Doing this solo with such a laid back style but sounding not less than the original is what's called actual improv. You charmed that guitar into singing sweet and perfect, brother. Loved it.

When Angus Young was asked how it was to be maybe was the greatest guitar player in the world he replied that he wasn't even the best guitar player in the band. Similarly, I'd say Another Brick in the Wall isn't the best guitar solo on the album, and probably not the 2nd best. I'd rate Comfortably Numb 1st, and maybe Run Like Hell 2nd. In the Flesh rates too.

For my 2nd MRI I requested Pink Floyd, any Floyd but the tech lady couldn't find any. ☹. Also a David Gilmore fan. I asked for the Beatles 9 years earlier and she (amazing: same woman) dug up the Beatles Love album. Not quite the recordings I was used to.

Wow, truly awesome guitar work and the only guy to stop and show some appreciation looked like a street guy. Sometimes the rest of us are too caught up in our own little worlds to stop and smell the roses and I'm guilty of it too at times I'm sure...those who actually live among the roses are perhaps more likely to spot them and not take brief slices of beauty for granted 😊

Oh man thanks... Im 27. Badajoz. Spain. Sax jazz and all music player. Busker too man. 12 years on the street man. Well... I would love say you so many things but slowly hahaha... Love you man. Well in the street you have to be careful man, is the street... But is the same when you go with no instrument. The street is free. And is the real life and the most satisfying life. Keep doing that please. Love. There are bad people and police but well there are so beautiful things too and good people and police.
