I never understood why ppl hated watching post players. Everyone in the building knew what DJ was about to do down there, and there wasn't a damn thing Duke could do to stop it. To me, dominance is always exciting
cause usually playing in the post isnt smart (working for a tough 2 rather than a 3). but when your dominating like this you go for it

@@dudesjewelsidk it’s been pretty magical. First off, they had to make their conference championship to even get in the March madness and the first team they had to play was Duke. They beat them, then Virginia, then UNC, just to get into this madness.

No, out maneuvering them. He doesn't lower his shoulder and bull thru people, he uses great footwork and ball fakes. That is a lot more difficult to stop, and he has inside shooting touch with both hands.

Why do these highlights not include some of DJ's passing? Yes he looks and posts up like ZBo, but some of the passes and reads he makes remind me a little of Jokic and Sengun. Either way he's a super fun player to watch for sure

The NC State defense took Duke out of its catch n shoot 3 point offense. Duke kept trying to get it but it wasn't there. Then they'd dribble n drive and hurry a shot. Not their game. They weren't cold. NC State did it to them. And of course... Burns tore them up on offense. A demolition in several ways. And oh... Duke was severely outcoached. They should get off the 5 star gravy Nike train and recruit better athletes.

I'm a die hard Duke fan but I'm okay with losing to the big man and NC State - they wanted it more and he is refreshing to watch. You'd think he's just a pure bully but his finesse and touch is amazing. Also, not surprising that they are winning games they don't seem very cinderella like pretty good team, maybe they just underperformed in the regular season?
