Thank you - they revealed ages within 30 seconds so I didn’t even watch the rest

Yep at 1:26
So apparently if you’re gen Z: - you should have tik tok - you don’t watch dog videos - you don’t listen to country music - you wear chunkier sneakers - you do not wear cargo pants
They are right about the clothes part. GenZ dresses like they shop at thrift stores, which is fine. It's the trend.
@@voyagerone7487 They are not right tho. The majority may be wearing these clothes, but that doesn' mean no GenZ will dress differently, and they stated these things like rules to being a GenZ. Like one girl said "no genz watches dog videos" like bruh probably almost a half of genz does that.
Adding to this - apparently gen Z don't speak "well" - if you act too "mature" or "grown up", you're not gen Z Sounds like they're kind of self deprecating their own generation.
@@hannahp836 because gen z is still very young more than half of us are in highschool and the rest in college or just graduating college, we won't be as mature as someone in their 30s
@@veru6907 Of course, there's nuance, but what we see as part of the mainstream does suggest trends. But no, realistically speaking, GenZ is not a monolith, but the majority does reflect certain ways. Yes, GenZ dresses like they went thrifting at a 90s thrift store.
The fact that they couldn't right away decide on who the Millennial was just shows how there's really no difference from the youngest Millennials to the oldest gen z
Exactly. All the boundaries are so arbitrary, and meaningless. There are millennials born in '95 who have an excellent understanding of genZ meme culture, and genZ'ers born in '05 who talk, act, and dress in a more stereotypically millennial fashion
@@lazygongfarmer2044 Millennials born in the early 90s share meme culture with zoomers, the only millennials who don't get that stuff are the older ones in their 40s

It makes sense, definitely so in hindsight. When you say you're 24 but can pass as younger than that then he could definitely be older with a baby face as he explained afterwards

Purposely choosing a mole who was a young looking millennial was her thought process there.

As a 20 year old Gen-Z, since when did we have to have the same interests to be part of a generation, isn’t our generation all about how diverse we are😂. Not all of us are going to like the same fashion or music lol. They were talking about older generations not being able to understand them, I’m part of the same generation and couldn’t understand them.😂 Also the whole “no GenZ watches dog videos…” the tiktok algorithm is literally designed for you, I’m not on that trendy dancing side of tiktok like they’re talking about, more on the books and comedy side.

Every time Ruby spoke, I'm like "YOU GO GIRL!!" because her wisdom and understanding is so advanced! She definitely will be going far in society! I knew she wasn't the mole, but her intelligence made her suspicious! You don't see too many people like her messing around like other Gen-Z's because she's busy getting things done!! LOVE IT!!! Every time she said "Dope" I was sooo cringing because I use that all the time and get made fun of for it! What that tells me is she spends a lot of time with millennials, learning from them. I think that what people should learn from this video is that everyone is different despite what generation there is. Just because a bunch of people are in the same generation doesn't mean they're going to be exactly the same.

"he just seemed to young" did you really just say that-
Millennials originally are born from 1982 to 2000. That term was coined by Neil Howe and William Strauss and they were the ones who did MUCH research dating back to the late 80s early 90s on the generation and literally predicted what they’d become as it has come to fruition. Now what Pew Research did was bite off William Howe and Neil Strauss years of research (they even invited Neil Howe on to panels with others speaking on the Millennials), and decided in recent years to cut the Millennial generation short claiming that 1997 starts Gen Z. Neil Howe on Twitter disagreed but there’s not much he could do about it given how big Pew Research has become in recent years. It’s more or less a recency bias coming from people who’ve accepted that these late 90s born people are Generation Z when they literally relate to Millennials more than they care to admit. If anything, they’re Cuspers relating to both.
