Saga, so good to see you smiling😊. I lived in Italy 52 years ago, on the island of La Madelana between Corsica and Sardinia in the Mediterranean. It was a magicical time in my life and I loved the Italians, so hospitable and gargarious. They were so warm and loving. Where you are looking to live is lovely. I hope all works out for you. 🇺🇸🧑🦳❤️
Thanks Valorie 💞 Wow, that sounds incredible! I've never even heard of that island, now I'll have to go visit! 💞💞💞
Thank you for the update, you certainly get around and I hope it all works out in time.😊
Thanks Adrian 💞
Hi Saga, I am so excited for you to be moving to beautiful Italy! Italy has been one of my most desired travel destinations for a long time, as it just is so gorgeous there. I do believe that if you have this hope in your heart, that it will all fall into place for you. Sometimes there are twists and turns in our highest hopes and dreams, but they will unfold before our very eyes in just the right way, at just the right time~Godspeed to it all coming to fruition for you and your husband! Oh, and I totally get it about feeling like your life is often disjointed, as I have felt that way a lot through the years. But in the last several months, everything has been very much up in the air for me; I have been bouncing from one place to another so often, that I awaken and don't know where I am. I usually looove to travel, but I also like somewhere I can call home~I guess home is where your heart is, so mine will come again. Me and my cat have become an unlikely pair of travelers, but as they say, "All that wander are not lost." Sending a big hug to you, and keep us all posted~I know you will have good news before you know it! 🥰💝💖💞
Thank you so much Karen! So glad to hear I'm not alone in this feeling 💞 Haha! I love that you and your cat are travelling together as an unlikely pair. Absolutely warms my heart 💞
🥰😻💞

That's so kind. Thank you! 💚
@@SagaJohanna I don’t get to travel or anything like that in my life so you showed me lovely quaint things & beautiful nature that I may never have seen otherwise. This vid inspired me to to keep striving to have new experiences. So when you mentioned other people’s content and it seeming more organized or something like that it felt really important to tell you & to thank you. Your very brave to share and you touch many so thanks again 😊

What a magical place. So so beautiful. You have a lifestyle I would love to have. But alas, I am 68 living in New Jersey USA. 😌 I hope your wishes regarding the house come true. I want to see more! ☺️
I really love it there! Hoping for a place surrounded by nature! I will share it all when we get there haha
I was born and raised in NJ ❤.
Hello Saga, It’s lovely to see you so happy. Perhaps I missed something, but can I ask you why you and your husband are moving to Italy rather than staying in Sweden?
Thank you 🙏
Thanks for watching! 💞
Welcome!
Grazie :
Did you search in the area where you placed that ❤? That is a wonderful region!!! I'm Dutch but we have been living in Italië for 25 years. You can see Dolceaqua and Apricale above your white 'shield' with car and kms on the plan in your video. You missed my daughter, she flew back from Nice this morning🤣.
That was the AirBnB we stayed in, so we searched a little bit there but doing the whole region of Liguria really ❤ I think Dolceaqua would be an awesome place to live but haven't found anything affordable over there :D Haha so close!
You have a beautiful comforting voice always wish the best for you you're a beautiful intelligent woman love your videos hope you het the house
Thank you Liam ❤ That is so kind of you!
Awesome! Good luck.
Thank you so much
This brings to my mind the Manic Monday song lyric, "dreaming of a crystal blue Italian stream." Good luck getting that dream.
Oh wow I’d never heard that. Thank you!!
Yay! You were watching The Office ♡
Haha yes! I’m currently listening to the office ladies and rewatching it as I go. 😂🥰
Thanks Saga. Why did you decide to move to Italy?
Thanks for sharing. I'm trying to decide if we move to Italy or to NZ. What advantages do you see in living in Italy instead of in NZ?
Thanks for watching :) Ohh, I think it's really personal! For us, the advantages of Italy are much closer to family, ability to travel sustainably (without flying), culture, history, museums, art etc, better food, less isolated. But a lot of comforts such as healthcare and practicality, road safety etc., ease of paying taxes - that we're for sure giving up now! Haha! Hope that helped :)
God eftermiddag my beautiful friend! It really does look amazing over there. Keep us posted! kram
Hello! Thank you :D
Thanks
Thanks Simon! You're the sweetest :)
Hugs from Idaho, USA! I've never been to Italy, but it's on my list of places to visit (along with Greece!) What made you decide on Italy vs. a different European country?
Ohh my friend studied in Idaho! He said the nature was amazing there 💚 Italy was our pick because of affordability, possibility to home school IF (big if) we have a child, closer to my family and more options to travel without having to fly! And weather! Much warmer than Sweden....
I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get the house 🍀🏡 How did you decide for Italy? 😊
Yay! Thank you 💚 Italy was our pick because of affordability, possibility to home school IF (big if) we have a child, closer to my family and more options to travel without having to fly!
@@SagaJohanna Intetesting criteria with homeschooling :) I heard from the project with 1€ houses in some old villages in Italy
Will this be your forever home or just for now? I love Italy, was there quite a few years ago.
We'll see, I'm hoping for a kind of forever home!
I'm italiani and have a,deep honest knowledge of my country.I lived in different cities:ask anything you need
Oh thank you, that's so sweet ❤
@@SagaJohannaenjoy your staying❤
My maternal greatgrandparents were born in Southern Italy. Would love to visit their city.
That’s amazing. What part of southern Italy?
@@SagaJohanna Bari, Italy. 💚🤍❤️
How do you take the tràin from Denmark tõ Sweden
There's no direct train route but you can drive on the Oresund bridge which is what connects the two countries together
@@aryamanbhadauria1584 thank you very
@@Laurie804 To make it clear, the trains travel via the Öresund bridge, too.
@@Elora445 thank you
No there’s a direct train route, over the bridge :)
What a beautiful place! Hope you'll get your dream house. Do you speak any Italian? Best wishes to you and your husband!
It really is! Thank you 💞 I speak a little bit, but I speak even when I know I don't make sense and so that gets me quite far haha :)
Hello, Saga. How exciting. Uncertainty is always an attachment, isn’t it. One that can be hard to let go of. Did you pass through Ventimiglia or Beaulieu-sur-Mer - happy memories of both.
You remind me Judy Hopps from Zootopia for some reason
Both ambitious and optimistic
Oh that's so sweet haha! I watched that movie with my sister so it's a fond memory for me!
